Gu Chen manipulated the Sun Moon Empire’s war against the Council while binding Zhang Wuliang to his service and preparing a beast army near Mingdu. In Suotuo City, Luo Chen’s attempt to suppress rebellion unleashed a zombie plague that left the city nearly overrun.

• Gu Chen posed as Mu En, gave Xu Zheng a Longevity Pill, and became Imperial Tutor as Xu Zheng’s health and cultivation improved.
• Gu Chen advised Xu Zheng to assassinate the Council’s leaders, and Song Qi stole P9 pistols before escaping the Council Army’s camp at the cost of his lifespan.
• Rou'er and the other Title Douluo killed Mattai Ismael, but Zhang Haisheng survived and Ghost Douluo died during the operation.

Gu Chen seized control of the Sun Moon Empire, destroyed the Council Army, and reunited with Luo Chen before helping his allies secure the continent. After Ling Xiaojiu and Jin Zi received divine inheritances, Gu Chen and Gu Yuena prepared to face Yuwen Zhuo, whose attack on Spirit City began their battle against the God Realm.

• Luo Chen awoke in ruined Suotuo City, realized his virus had turned its people into zombies, and led the advanced zombies away from Gu Chen’s allies.
• Gu Chen forced Xu Haoran to become his servant, took control of the Sun Moon Empire, and led the Demon Soul Beast Legion and imperial army to annihilate the Council Army.
• Gu Chen found Luo Chen hiding in the mountains, reassured him about their friendship, and reunited him with Feng Xiaoyu.
• Gu Chen and his allies defeated the Star Luo remnants in Luoyang City, where Dongfang Po killed Yu Yunfeng and freed the imprisoned officials.

After defeating Yuwen Zhuo, Gu Chen organized the empire and sent Ye Wuyou to hunt the fugitives on the Red Wanted Order. Ye Wuyou completed his Sixth Trial and began restoring the Death God Altar, then traveled with Gu Chen to Earth to gather death energy from zombies for his Seventh Trial.

• Gu Chen and Gu Yuena defeated Yuwen Zhuo, while Xuan Mo used the faith of Spirit City’s residents to shield the city from the blast and reached level ninety.
• Gu Chen began the God Creation Plan and equipped Ye Wuyou and five Shadow Guards to hunt the fugitives on the Red Wanted Order.
• Ye Wuyou and his team killed fugitives across the continent, leaving only the eleven in Slaughter City, and Gu Chen accompanied him there.
• Gu Chen and Ye Wuyou hunted down the remaining fugitives in Slaughter City, defeated its guards, and forced the Slaughter King to open Hell Road.

Ye Wuyou completed the Death God’s inheritance, while Gu Chen’s group advanced their own divine trials and prepared to place Douluo Continent under soul-beast rule. Gu Chen hid the continent from the God Realm for five years and gathered the ten fierce beasts to begin his plan.

• Ye Wuyou gained the Death God Scythe’s recognition, completed the Eighth Trial by converting his energy and Spirit Rings, and began the final inheritance with Deathly Silence’s sacrifice.
• Ye Wuyou endured the Death God’s eight painful trials, transformed his soul bones into Death God Divine Armor, and completed the inheritance as the former Death God departed to travel the universe.
• The Kindness God King and Evil God King sent the newly ascended Darkness God Feng Xi to investigate Yuwen Zhuo’s death and search for the Golden and Silver Dragon Kings.
• Gu Chen brought Luo Chen to the God of Food Inheritance Temple, where Luo Chen began the God of Food Stairway and Feng Xiaoyu stayed behind to await him.
