Appearance

Mobius is a tall woman with green hair and emerald eyes, commonly seen in a white laboratory coat. She is stated to be 173 cm tall. Following her Fusion Warrior surgery, her pupils become snake-like; later depictions show a more overtly serpentine body during combat. 25 213 320 281

  • Green hair and green eyes. 320
  • White laboratory coat; carries a medical kit adapted for field operations. 323
  • Snake-like or vertical pupils after her Fusion Warrior transformation. 25 282
  • In her advanced combat state, her lower body becomes a thick scaled snake tail. 282
  • Her manifested energy serpents are dark green, metallic-scaled, and capable of corroding the ground with venomous fluid. 281 282

Personality

Mobius is driven by an uncompromising fixation on evolution. She regards powerful nonhuman organisms, Honkai Beasts, Herrschers, vampires, and Pillarmen as possible routes beyond humanity’s limits. This ambition makes her willing to conduct dangerous experiments, use corpses as research material, and accept severe ethical costs when she believes humanity’s survival requires it. 60 210 222 248

She is sharp-tongued, impatient with caution, and dismissive of institutional restrictions. The Flame Chasers’ council repeatedly opposes or restricts her work, but she continues pursuing Pillarman, Fusion Warrior, Stigmata, and Stone Mask research through political pressure, funding deals, or direct defiance. 212 214 222

Despite her reputation, Mobius is not indifferent to the people close to her. She relies on Blanca and Klein, works to protect Klein from becoming a Herrscher, treats Griseo’s Honkai Sickness, and develops complicated feelings toward Kars. Her concern is usually expressed through research, preparation, or decisive intervention rather than open sentiment. 118 134 218 246

Abilities & Skills

Scientific Research and Surgery

Mobius is one of the Flame Chasers’ foremost biological researchers and surgeons. Her work centers on adapting humanity to the Honkai through radical biological transformation.

  • Developed and advanced the Fusion Warrior Project, integrating Honkai Beast genes into human subjects. 25 71
  • Successfully performed Fusion Warrior surgery on Elysia before undergoing the process herself. 25
  • Extracted Seele’s Herrscher Core, describing the procedure as simple. 68
  • Studied Kars’s Pillarman physiology and introduced Honkai Beast genes into his cells. 213
  • Improved Fusion Warrior surgery to increase success rates and combat strength, though the improved subjects risk losing control and becoming increasingly beast-like. 243 247
  • Developed a stable Stigmata space capable of preserving the consciousness and humanity of Fusion Warriors. 249
  • Researched ways to modify Stone Masks for human use without creating vampires. 248

Snake Shedding

Following her Fusion Warrior surgery, Mobius gains an ability derived from Sasha.

  • After death, her physiological age regresses rather than ending permanently. 25
  • The ability brings her closer to her goal of eternal life. 25
  • It does not free her from DIO’s flesh buds, which remain distributed through her nervous system. 112

World Devourer Serpent

Mobius possesses the Stand World Devourer Serpent.

  • Devoured Sasha and absorbed knowledge of its abilities. 112
  • Is associated with Mobius’s pursuit of limitless evolution through biological assimilation. 112 243
  • Later manifests as swarms of massive Honkai Energy serpents in battle. 281 282
  • The serpents can physically assault shields, endure heavy firepower, corrode terrain, and absorb energy fields after being empowered with denser Honkai Energy. 282

Combat Capability

Though primarily a researcher, Mobius is capable of defending herself and directing combat operations.

  • Solo defeated the Judgment-class Honkai Beast Sasha. 25
  • Used ultraviolet light to incapacitate Santana, exploiting the Pillarman’s weakness. 210
  • Carries and uses a modified electromagnetic gun; accurately employed a tranquilizer dart against an armed opponent. 323
  • Can analyze enemy biological weaknesses, including the neck chip interfaces of Fusion Body Type β guards. 323
  • Her later serpentine form can engage Vill-V’s mechanized arsenal on a mountain-range scale. 281 282

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Portable medical kit — Modified into a field arsenal containing medical and combat equipment. 323
  • Modified electromagnetic gun — Used against Fusion Body Type β guards. 323
  • Tranquilizer darts — Used to incapacitate a Poisoned Pupae operative. 323
  • Ultraviolet irradiation device — Used against Santana during the Pillarman incident. 210
  • Recording device — A contact-lens-like device given to Kars to record Herrscher combat data. 229
  • Flame Chasers badge — Provided to Kars to grant him access and discourage interference from other researchers. 229

Relationships

  • Blanca — Her assistant and close subordinate. Blanca worries about Mobius’s well-being, while Mobius relies on her laboratory support and later entrusts her with contingencies for the Human Eradication Plan. 12 210 251
  • Klein — Initially introduced to Mobius by Blanca. Mobius later grows from hostility into trust and reliance, and risks Stigmata implantation to prevent Klein from becoming a Herrscher. 12 134 246
  • Kars — Research subject, collaborator, and eventual partner in pursuing evolution. Kars protects Mobius repeatedly, while Mobius studies and assists his development; her feelings toward him become increasingly personal. 213 218 233 242
  • DIO — Her controller and abuser during the vampire period. DIO implants flesh buds into Mobius, forcibly turns her into a vampire, and coerces her into conducting experiments. 109 110
  • Elysia — Early Fusion Warrior test subject and later research collaborator. Elysia challenges Mobius’s willingness to turn humans into Herrscher-like beings, while Mobius continues researching methods to preserve or restore Herrschers’ humanity. 25 222 239
  • Vill-V — Scientific rival and collaborator. Mobius initially considers Vill-V too dangerous, later works with her on major projects including Divine Keys, Soul Steel, and anti-Honkai technology. 12 222 243
  • Mei — A researcher Mobius recruits for her quantum-mechanics expertise and supports with First Research Institute resources. 25 350 352

Story Role / Major Arcs

Fusion Warrior Project

Mobius defeats Sasha and uses the resulting research to advance the Fusion Warrior Project. After Elysia successfully integrates Mahāsvayaṁ’s Hyper-Evolution Factor, Mobius undergoes surgery herself and gains Snake Shedding. The project’s visible success intensifies public fear of Fusion Warriors and makes Mobius a target for internal opposition. 25

When progress later stalls, Mobius argues that living subjects are necessary for further development. She continues the project despite high mortality rates, public hostility, and the growing fear that Fusion Warriors are no longer human. 71 222

DIO’s Control

After DIO brings Sasha’s regenerating corpse to her laboratory, Mobius recognizes the danger he represents but refuses to submit voluntarily. DIO implants a flesh bud in her head, then forcibly places the Stone Mask on her, turning her into a vampire. 109

Under threat to Blanca and other captives, Mobius is compelled to conduct human–Honkai Beast fusion experiments for DIO. The resulting defective Fusion Warriors and vampire creatures reveal both her resentment toward DIO and the limits of her control over the work. 110

Pillarman Research and Kars

Mobius becomes fascinated by Kars’s physiology after his discovery in a stone pillar, viewing him as a possible direction for humanity’s evolution. She frees him from restraints after he offers cooperation: access to his body in exchange for a recognized identity among humans. 210 213

After the council attempts to halt Pillarman research, Mobius secures a one-month delay and later obtains investment by presenting the Pillarmen as subjects for immortality research. She proceeds with Kars’s Fusion Warrior surgery after first experimenting on Santana’s corpse. 212 214 216

Leadership of the Flame Chasers

Following the conflict involving Chiyou and the Herrscher of Ice, Mobius briefly becomes leader of the Flame Chasers. She later abdicates and passes the position to Hen. 233

Stigmata and Survival Research

As Fusion Warriors increasingly lose their humanity and civilization approaches collapse, Mobius turns to Stigmata research. She succeeds in transferring consciousness into Stigmata space, giving Fusion Warriors a means to retain their human will. 243 249

When Stigmata and Fusion Warrior methods prove insufficient, Mobius begins researching Stone Masks as another route for human evolution. She seeks to alter them so humans can use their potential without becoming vampires. 248

Later Flame Chasers Operations

Mobius remains an influential First Research Institute director in later Flame Chasers operations. She recruits Mei for quantum-based Honkai monitoring, protects powerful abnormal individuals from council confinement, and responds directly to major Honkai outbreaks around Changkong City. 326 350 352
