Arc 15The Nature Disruptor

Huang Ji gathered allies and ancient technology to kill the Nature Disruptor, then turned to preparing humanity for the threat of Dis and the wider galaxy. Dis retrieved Brando’s warning from the soil and left, still unaware that Huang Ji had defeated his avatar.

  • Brando escaped the pursuit with Brandy and Flowran, but Old Wang killed Digg and stayed with Sophia as she prepared Feis’s brain transplant.
  • Hua Ji’s forces captured Brando’s companions and pursued him across the countryside until Huang Ji rescued him from the Yangtze River and persuaded him to join the fight against the Nature Disruptor.
  • Huang Ji traced Torch Dragon’s history and location to Kunlun, where his group opened the ancient halls beneath the Nine Wells and recovered artifacts, energy sources, and preserved Seven Fairies.
  • Huang Ji and Lin Li entered the Hundred Gods Warehouse in disguise, and Huang Ji explained why the group needed to dismantle the base and prepare to fight rather than rely only on hiding.
  • Huang Ji and Yu Mo Shuo lured the Nature Disruptor with a false crop circle, and Brando’s accidental throw of the Sun-Shooting Arrow let Huang Ji destroy the alien’s avatar.
  • Huang Ji revealed that the Disruptor was not truly dead and proposed killing Dis while building humanity’s capabilities and joining the Galactic Star Alliance before 2045.
  • Yu Mo Shuo’s team entered Torch Dragon and began planning an underground refuge, while Huang Ji arranged to extract most of its energy despite the cost to its remaining lifespan.
  • Dis found Brando’s buried recording and spores, raged at the mention of Feis and Hua Ji, then left after the witness who saw him was dismissed by the authorities.
Chapters 361–386 Vol. 4 Read

Ch. 361Lying in Wait

Brando fled to a safe house with Royia and Flowran, only to be ambushed by Old Wang. Old Wang killed Digg and stayed behind to protect Sophia as she prepared to transplant Feis's brain, while Brando escaped into a city covered by more ambush teams.

  • Brando escaped Yu Mo Shuo's encirclement and reached a safe house with Digg, Royia, and Flowran.
  • Old Wang revealed himself inside the apartment and fought Brando and Digg, while Brando used his Lightsaber to drive him back.
  • Brando fled through a window with Royia and Flowran, abandoning Digg to Old Wang.
  • Old Wang broke Digg's leg and killed him after Digg refused to help kill Dis.
  • Sophia revealed Feis's head in a case, and Old Wang stayed behind to protect her as she prepared the brain transplant.

Ch. 362No One Would Be at the Exit

Brando and Flowran escaped through an underground cable passage, but Grania and Coyote ambushed them at the exit. Flowran crippled Coyote to help Brando flee, then Grania spared her because Hua Ji planned to exchange her for Royia.

  • Brando led Flowran through an underground route and explained that he had given Digg false escape information while keeping several routes in reserve with Brandy.
  • Brando and Flowran reached the outskirts of Magic City, where Grania and Coyote attacked them as soon as Brando emerged.
  • Brando fought back with his Lightsaber and Black Wand but was overwhelmed by Grania's close attacks and Coyote's Silver Hand Cannons.
  • Flowran struck Coyote with her vibration power, severely injuring him and giving Brando a chance to escape.
  • Brando threatened to kill Royia if Grania killed Flowran, and Coyote stopped Grania from attacking her.
  • Grania and Coyote decided to keep Flowran alive for an exchange, trusting Hua Ji's plan to trade her for Royia and let Brando go.

Ch. 363Ambushes Everywhere

Brando escaped Luo Yan’s ambush with Brandy after trading Royia for Flowran, then reasoned that Taicang and Shaxi Ancient Town were likely both watched. He chose a riskier escape route through the water plant and river.

  • Brando hid in a flour mill warehouse, but Luo Yan ambushed him there after Hua Ji predicted his escape route.
  • Luo Yan transformed into his stronger S7 form and surrounded Brando with Grania and Coyote, then offered to let him go if he released Royia.
  • Brando demanded Flowran as well, then threw Royia to Luo Yan and escaped with Brandy using Iron Umbrella.
  • After landing in a field, Brando and Brandy concluded that Taicang and Shaxi Ancient Town were both likely traps.
  • Brando decided they would head to the riverbank and escape through the water plant’s sewage pipes.

Ch. 364Adams, the Loyalist

Huang Ji tried to persuade Yu Mo Shuo to accept Huang Ji’s apparent death and cooperate with the Illuminati, while Yu Mo Shuo wrestled with the choice. Elsewhere, Adams confronted Brando’s fleeing group but let them pass, leaving Brando convinced Adams might still be an ally.

  • Huang Ji revealed his alias as Hua Ji and offered to care for Huang Ji’s grandfather, presenting DNA reports that claimed he was the old man’s blood relative.
  • Yu Mo Shuo resisted accepting Hua Ji’s story, while Gu Feng urged him to overlook the deception for the greater good; Yu Mo Shuo ordered an investigation into Hua Ji’s group through Lin Li.
  • Brando’s group ran through the woods, where Adams ambushed them and revealed a transformation that made him far stronger than Brando.
  • Brandy told Brando that Adams had resisted surrendering to Double Pupils until his forces were defeated, leading Brando to believe Adams remained loyal to the Illuminati.
  • Adams refused Brando’s invitation to join him but stood aside as Brando, Brandy, Flowran, and Cao Jing escaped.

Ch. 365Desperate Counterattack

Brando chose a difficult mountain route to evade Hua Ji’s ambushes, but Amu attacked at the exit and forced the injured group to flee into a swamp. After they escaped Amu, Wally ambushed them at the mountain exit, and Flowran crippled him so Brando could escape.

  • Brando chose the longer mountain route because its difficult terrain would help them evade ambushers, and the three crossed it safely.
  • Amu ambushed them at the mountain exit with a Plasma Cannon, badly injuring Brando, Brandy, and Flowran.
  • Brando led the group into a swamp and camouflaged them in the mud, fooling Amu into chasing past them.
  • Brando, Brandy, and Flowran escaped the swamp and returned to the mountain exit, where Wally ambushed them.
  • Brando told Flowran to flee and carry his message about the Ark of the Covenant to Dis, but Flowran attacked Wally and shattered his legs.

Ch. 366Board the Ship

Brando fled with the badly injured Brandy while Flowran bought them time, but Hua Ji’s forces pursued him to the Yangtze River. Just as Brando was trapped in a net and believed he would die, Huang Ji offered him a hand and hot food.

  • Flowran attacked Wally to help Brando escape, then kept drawing Wally away even as he injured her and pursued her.
  • Brando carried Brandy to a water plant, treated him, and escaped from One-Eyed Eagle by fleeing through a drainage pipe into the Yangtze River.
  • Brando swam through the river with Brandy on his back, but Huang Ji caught them in a steel net.
  • Huang Ji reached down to help the exhausted Brando out of the water and invited him aboard for something hot to eat.

Ch. 367The Will That Never Gives Up

Huang Ji captured Brando, treated Brandy, and offered Brando a chance to live and join him. Brando pretended to agree while remaining committed to his cause, but after seeing Flowran alive, he outwardly pledged to help Huang Ji kill aliens.

  • Huang Ji pulled Brando from the river, treated Brandy's injuries, and told Brando he would spare him.
  • Brando learned that the person he had killed was only a passerby used as bait, and Yu Mo Shuo mourned the innocent man's death.
  • Huang Ji offered Brando a chance to live if he listened, and Brando agreed while secretly planning to keep resisting.
  • Amu and the others returned with Wally and Flowran, and Brando was shocked to discover Flowran had survived.
  • Huang Ji explained that he had intended for no one to die and invited Brando to fight aliens with him.
  • Brando claimed he would stop killing people and join Huang Ji, though he still believed Huang Ji's plan to kill Dis was doomed.

Ch. 368Disruptors Must Die!

Huang Ji explained that he intended to kill the Nature Disruptor before the alien could seize Torch Dragon, while Old Chen’s drunken interrogation revealed the plan to Yu Mo Shuo. Yu Mo Shuo confronted Huang Ji and, after learning the scale of the Disruptor’s threat, vowed to stop him.

  • Huang Ji persuaded Amu that Brando could become a powerful ally and said they would kill the Nature Disruptor.
  • Old Chen’s team secretly drank water from special flasks while getting the sentries drunk, and Lin Li revealed that the group planned to kill aliens in the Great Northwest.
  • Lin Li told Old Chen that Double Pupils had overthrown the Illuminati and sought to prevent humanity’s future extinction-level disasters.
  • Old Chen sent the intelligence to Yu Mo Shuo, who ordered the building surrounded and confronted Huang Ji about the plan to kill the Disruptor.
  • Huang Ji said the Disruptor was a lone interstellar adventurer who planned to rip open the Earth’s crust to take Torch Dragon, and Yu Mo Shuo vowed that this must never happen.

Ch. 369I will be the Adam of the new world

Huang Ji and Yu Mo Shuo agreed that humanity had to kill the Nature Disruptor to keep the Torch Dragon as its safeguard, while concealing the deed as an alien conflict. After Brando secretly warned Dis and betrayed the Double Pupils group, he prepared to serve as the new world’s Adam.

  • Huang Ji told Yu Mo Shuo that the Nature Disruptor had come to Earth secretly and that humanity needed to kill him to protect the Torch Dragon, but Yu Mo Shuo agreed not to use military force.
  • Huang Ji and his group recovered the Ark of the Covenant and planned to use it to lure Dis into a trap, while Brando realized their public plan was a ruse.
  • With Yu Mo Shuo’s permission, Huang Ji arranged for the Winged God armor to be transported to Hua Country as the group prepared to head northwest.
  • Brando escaped to a park and retrieved the hidden communication sphere, then recorded a message warning Dis that Hua Ji and the Double Pupils Organization planned to betray him.
  • Brando buried the recording and tracking spores, marked the rebels’ destination near Yuzhu City, and vowed to serve Dis after the coming judgment.

Ch. 370The age of Azure Heaven

Huang Ji brought Yu Mo Shuo and the others to Kunlun Pass, intending to lure the Nature Disruptor out by marking the location of Torch Dragon. He explained that ancient legends about Buzhou Fuzi, Nüwa mending heaven, and Torch Dragon described Earth’s ancient crisis when the Moon drew close, leaving the story with humanity’s ancestors having ended the age of Azure Heaven.

  • Huang Ji told Yu Mo Shuo to draw his message about Torch Dragon on the ground in maltose to force the Nature Disruptor to appear and destroy it.
  • Huang Ji explained that Torch Dragon lay beneath the region and that the Disruptor was searching for it using earthquakes because he did not know its precise location.
  • Huang Ji revealed that Buzhou Fuzi had been a space elevator connecting Earth to the Moon when the Moon was close to Earth, and that the ancient Moon had been called Azure Heaven.
  • Huang Ji explained that the Moon’s arrival caused darkness, disasters, and climate upheaval, while Nüwa stabilized it and Torch Dragon controlled the climate and illuminated the shadowed northwest.
  • Huang Ji cited ancient texts describing Torch Dragon and the sunless northwest, then said humanity’s ancestors had ended the age of Azure Heaven.

Ch. 371Kunlun Nine Wells

Huang Ji identified the glacier at Kunlun Pass as the site of Buzhou Mountain and used the surrounding terrain to locate the likely ruins of Kunlun Hill near Nalenggele Canyon. Though Yu Mo Shuo urged the group to continue toward Zhong Mountain to find Torch Dragon before the earthquake, Huang Ji led a small party to investigate the Kunlun Nine Wells.

  • Huang Ji explained that Cold-Heat Water, Wet Mountain, and Curtain Mountain matched features around Kunlun Pass, identifying the area as the former site of Buzhou Mountain.
  • Huang Ji and Yu Mo Shuo used the map to place Zhong Mountain near Yingnuomaha Mountain and Kunlun Hill near Nalenggele Canyon, where sunken volcanic formations could mark the vanished structure’s former socket.
  • Yu Mo Shuo argued that the group should head to Zhong Mountain to find Torch Dragon before the earthquake, but Huang Ji persuaded him that their enhanced abilities would let them inspect Kunlun Hill quickly.
  • Huang Ji took Luo Yan, Lin Li, Alan, Adams, and the Winged God by helicopter to Nalenggele Ranch while Yu Mo Shuo headed toward Zhong Mountain with the others.
  • Gu Feng arranged local communications and described the eight sheer-walled formations known as Well Mountain, while Lin Li recognized them as the Eight Corners Rock surrounding the central basin—the Kunlun Nine Wells.

Ch. 372No Dead Ends

Huang Ji's group climbed Gang Rock while hauling the Winged God, and Huang Ji rescued a stranded climber near the summit. The climber reached the top but collapsed from exhaustion and lack of oxygen, leaving his fate uncertain.

  • Huang Ji's group reached a sheer cliff separating them from Gang Rock, and Wally, One-Eyed Eagle, Luo Yan, and Brando each showed off different ways to cross and climb it.
  • Brando carved a climbing groove into the cliff with the Black Wand, and Lin Li hauled the Winged God across as the group began climbing.
  • Huang Ji flew toward Gang Rock's summit with Feis's Energy Shield and spotted a climber stranded thirty meters below the top.
  • The climber had followed old hook slots up the mountain, but his last anchor was cracking and his oxygen had run out.
  • Huang Ji lowered a rope to the climber, who climbed to the summit and followed Huang Ji into the basin.
  • The exhausted climber slipped down the slope and blacked out, while Huang Ji was already farther ahead.

Ch. 374He was a doctor

Huang Ji revived An Lu Ban on Well Mountain and recruited him to help uncover a gateway to Gang Rock, explaining that the Kunlun Nine Wells held ancient weapons. As they dug, Huang Ji discussed ancient Huaxia history and concluded that the Yellow Emperor’s true personal invention was medicine.

  • Huang Ji told the recovered climber, An Lu Ban, that he could either descend or wait in the tent while Huang Ji carried out his secret task.
  • An Lu Ban refused to leave without repaying Huang Ji and followed him outside, where he found fourteen powerful men breaking through the ice.
  • Huang Ji explained that the group was digging for relics inside Well Mountain, one of the Kunlun Nine Wells, to use against aliens.
  • While An Lu Ban helped clear the broken ice, Huang Ji explained the ancient meaning of shen and discussed the origins of Huaxia culture and inventions.
  • Huang Ji said that the Yellow Emperor’s inventions had largely been credited to him from others, but that he had truly developed medicine and been a doctor.

Ch. 375The Enlightened Beast

Huang Ji led the group to an ancient underground base beneath Gang Rock and forced open its landing platform, triggering the Enlightened Beast’s defense. Wearing the Winged God, he defeated the guardian and left the base entrance open.

  • Lin Li and the others uncovered a sealed metal platform beneath the ice, and Huang Ji explained that it had once supported Kunlun Hill.
  • Huang Ji identified the platform as a landing-gear hatch with no usable entrance mechanism, so Wally and then Huang Ji attacked it.
  • The hatch opened after Huang Ji cut into it, and the Enlightened Beast emerged and attacked with lasers and an anti-energy javelin.
  • Huang Ji blocked the lasers with the Winged God’s wing blades, caught the javelin, and drove it into the Enlightened Beast’s lower abdomen.
  • The Enlightened Beast shut down on Gang Rock’s summit, while An Lu Ban watched Huang Ji’s group in stunned disbelief.

Ch. 376Work of Art

Huang Ji led the group into the chamber beneath Well Mountain, where they discovered an ancient star chart made from Five-Colored Stone grains. Using the Enlightened Beast’s authorization, he opened a hidden passage that revealed an image of a colossal Dragonkin statue carved from an entire living Rock Planet.

  • Huang Ji disabled the Floating Cannons, collected them with the others, and cut through the well’s gate with his spear.
  • Huang Ji illuminated the underground hall and explained that its animated star chart had been assembled grain by grain over forty years.
  • Huang Ji used the Book of Shao Hao to describe how the First-generation Illuminati had fled west after Zhuanxu’s Severing of the Heavens.
  • Huang Ji opened a hidden passage by accessing the Enlightened Beast’s authorization.
  • The group saw the star chart reveal a planet-sized Dragonkin sculpture with oceans, glaciers, plants, and an atmosphere.

Ch. 377The Last Ones Left Behind

Huang Ji dismantled the Five-Colored Stone star chart and explained how the stones worked, then led the group toward the Hundred Gods Warehouse beneath a magma lake. He claimed the entrance required genetic camouflage using the genes of the Queen Mother of the West’s human daughters, and wagered the Winged God against Brando on whether they would find them.

  • Huang Ji destroyed the Embroidered Star Chart and gathered its Five-Colored Stones, explaining that each stone could regenerate and serve as an energy source and engine.
  • Huang Ji said the stones could not be charged in time to help defeat Dis, so the group continued searching for the Hundred Gods Warehouse beneath the volcano.
  • Huang Ji identified Weak Water as the warehouse’s defense and said genetic camouflage was needed to enter because the Queen Mother of the West’s human daughters had lived at the Nine Wells.
  • Huang Ji claimed the Queen Mother of the West’s seven daughters might be found in the other wells’ art halls, and Brando challenged his theory.
  • Brando wagered that if they failed to find the daughters, the Illuminati would follow him, then demanded the Winged God and its control methods as stakes; Huang Ji accepted, and Brando rushed to search.

Ch. 378Genetic Disguise

Brando found a preserved corpse and a jade pendant that controlled its conch-shaped chair, but Huang Ji’s prediction proved right when Brandy found another corpse. Huang Ji dismissed the wager and prepared to use genetic disguise to pose as an authorized user, leaving Brando to worry that Dis might arrive on Huang Ji’s birthday.

  • Brando discovered a corpse in an Art Hall and used its pendant to control and conceal the conch-shaped chair.
  • Brando hid the corpse, but Brandy returned with another one, proving Huang Ji had been right about finding them.
  • Huang Ji told Brando that their wager had no agreed terms and let it go, then explained that two people could use genetic disguise to pose as authorized users.
  • Brando volunteered for the disguise, but Huang Ji said Lin Li and he were better candidates and asked Brando for a birthday present instead.
  • Brando realized Dis might arrive on Huang Ji’s birthday and destroyed the tracking spores in his body.
  • Huang Ji transformed into a young woman and told Lin Li it was his turn.

Ch. 379God Lu Wu

Huang Ji led the group into the Hundred Gods Warehouse, an underground ecosystem preserved beneath a lava lake, and showed them some of its legendary machines. The group met the construction robot Lu Wu, who went to retrieve the warehouse’s electrical appliances.

  • Huang Ji explained how he used complete metamorphosis to give Lin Li a woman’s body while preserving his original body and memories.
  • Huang Ji and Lin Li used their authorization to guide the group through the lava lake’s protective bubble passage.
  • The group entered the Hundred Gods Warehouse and saw its miniature ecosystem, including the extinct horned hyena called a Tu Lou.
  • A red flying sphere named Di Jiang followed Huang Ji and played music as she described its abilities as a speaker, drone, and communicator.
  • The group watched Lu Wu repair a building and tend the garden, and Huang Ji ordered it to bring out the electrical appliances.

Ch. 380Household Goods

Huang Ji explained that the artifacts from the Kunlun Nine Wells were mostly household devices, but God Lu Wu, the base’s materials, and ancient Fungus People could help Double Pupils prepare for its unavoidable fight with Dis. The group learned that the Fungus People were domesticated remnants of an interstellar civilization, while Huang Ji’s plan still required both killing Dis and preserving humanity.

  • God Lu Wu brought over the garden’s artifacts, and Huang Ji identified their everyday uses, including several tools that could support construction and environmental control.
  • Brando dismissed the artifacts as household goods and proposed hiding a small population underground, but Huang Ji said he would pursue survival while also killing Dis because Feis was dead and Dis valued her deeply.
  • Luo Yan questioned the group’s chances because the devices were depleted and materials were scarce, so Huang Ji proposed dismantling the Kunlun Nine Wells and using its materials and energy to prepare for battle.
  • Huang Ji revealed that the five-thousand-year-old Fungus People were domesticated crops descended from an intelligent, spacefaring species that had sold itself to fund its civilization.
  • Huang Ji explained that the Star Alliance allowed civilizations to sell their own people and that newly joined civilizations occupied the bottom of a stratified interstellar society.

Ch. 381Harvesting Materials

Huang Ji explained how he could refine the Moronic Fungi into a human-symbiotic serum and warned that hiding underground would not guarantee humanity's survival after the Gamma-ray Burst. After the group dismantled the base and salvaged its materials and artifacts, they chose An Lu Ban to take the Seven Fairy form and control the artifacts while the others trained.

  • Huang Ji described the benefits of a serum refined from Moronic Fungi and said he needed the fungi to reach S7.
  • Huang Ji warned that the Anunnaki Corporation could seize survivors after humanity was declared extinct, while a Star Alliance Law Enforcement Officer might expose anyone hidden inside Torch Dragon.
  • Huang Ji urged the group to prepare to fight for humanity instead of relying only on hiding, and everyone worked through the night to dismantle the base beneath Well Mountain.
  • The group salvaged Five-Colored Stones, rare construction materials, alien components, and the artifacts, including Weak Water, while Huang Ji gathered the Seven Fairies' preserved bodies and genetic samples.
  • Huang Ji said someone had to remain in the form of a Seven Fairy to control the artifacts, and the group chose An Lu Ban because he did not need to train.

Ch. 382Battling the Nature Disruptor

Huang Ji returned from Well Mountain with ancient materials and the Sun-Shooting Arrow, then explained how Da Yi’s rebellion against the Sun God had helped the Yan and Huang faction. As the Nature Disruptor arrived, it seized control of Yu Mo Shuo’s missile batteries and turned them against Huang Ji, forcing him into a direct fight.

  • Huang Ji arrived with two tons of ancient materials and revealed the Sun-Shooting Arrow, which could pierce shields and break down matter.
  • Huang Ji explained that the Yellow Emperor had manipulated Da Yi into fighting the Sun God’s forces and helped bring down the nine suns.
  • Yu Mo Shuo’s team made an imitation crop circle as bait, and Huang Ji ordered all noncombatants to evacuate before the Nature Disruptor arrived.
  • The Nature Disruptor appeared as a glowing sphere, and Yu Mo Shuo’s missile batteries launched without orders under its control.
  • Huang Ji intercepted the missiles with the Winged God and charged the Nature Disruptor with an Ion Light Spear.

Ch. 383People Die When They're Killed

Huang Ji defeated the Nature Disruptor by exploiting a flaw in his predictive system and using Brando’s unintentional throw of the Sun-Shooting Arrow to create an opening. The alien lay dead in the ruined valley, and Huang Ji explained how his gamble had succeeded.

  • Huang Ji and his allies attacked the Nature Disruptor, but he predicted their moves and battered them while Brando fled with Brandy and the Sun-Shooting Arrow.
  • Brandy tried to return to the fight, and Brando knocked him down before throwing the arrow toward Huang Ji without intending to attack the alien.
  • Huang Ji forced the Nature Disruptor to dodge into the arrow’s path, then struck him with the Winged God’s full power while the arrow prevented him from raising an Energy Shield.
  • The blast devastated the mountains and buried Huang Ji’s allies, but they emerged to find the Nature Disruptor dead.
  • Huang Ji explained that the alien had failed to predict Brando’s unintentional throw, and thanked Brando for giving him the chance to win.

Ch. 384Predicting the Future

After defeating the Nature Disruptor’s avatar, Huang Ji explained that its death had bought humanity time but had not removed the threat to Torch Dragon or Earth. He laid out a plan to kill Dis and build humanity’s interstellar capabilities, leaving Yu Mo Shuo and the others ready to support him.

  • Yu Mo Shuo asked about the spoils, and Huang Ji revealed that he had integrated the Disruptor’s Biological Computer into the Winged God.
  • Huang Ji explained that the dead insect was only an avatar and that the Disruptor would likely assume the Moon’s weapons had destroyed it.
  • Huang Ji and Luo Yan discussed how Torch Dragon might preserve some survivors after 2045 but could not guarantee humanity’s future against alien civilizations.
  • Lin Li told Yu Mo Shuo about Plan A and Plan B, and Huang Ji said humanity needed to build a spaceship and join the Galactic Star Alliance before 2045.
  • Huang Ji proposed killing Dis while the Moon was undefended, then using the next three months to explore the Solar System and build humanity’s capabilities.
  • Yu Mo Shuo pledged his support, and Lin Li and the others resolved to fight Dis.

Ch. 385Modifying Torch Dragon

Huang Ji and the others reached Torch Dragon and discovered it was an enormous, mostly stripped climate-control facility that could shelter up to five million people. As Yu Mo Shuo prepared to build an underground refuge, Huang Ji requested most of Torch Dragon’s energy modules and warned that Iron Man might hijack the supplies.

  • With help from Huang Ji and six thousand soldiers, Yu Mo Shuo’s team dug a shaft fifteen kilometers underground to Torch Dragon’s tail.
  • Lin Li cut through one of Torch Dragon’s scales, and the group entered its illuminated halls while Huang Ji warned that the opening weakened its scan-shielding.
  • The group found the tail’s recreational areas empty, and Huang Ji explained why the Dragonkin had hidden Torch Dragon and might reclaim it later.
  • Yu Mo Shuo estimated the refuge could hold at most five million survivors and agreed to build an underground shelter.
  • Huang Ji asked to dismantle some functional modules and extract ninety percent of Torch Dragon’s energy, which would leave it operating for only three more years.
  • Yu Mo Shuo offered to provide other materials, and Huang Ji warned that Iron Man might hijack the supplies.

Ch. 386Dis Descends to Earth

Dis landed in Hangzhou to investigate the Ark of the Covenant’s signal and recovered a sphere and camera from the soil. He recognized evidence connected to Brando and threatened Hua Ji before leaving Earthlings to dismiss the witness’s story as a delusion.

  • Dis arrived in a cloaked saucer and landed in a park, frightening a man walking his bird before claiming he was shooting a movie.
  • Dis scanned disturbed soil with a probe, excavated it, and retrieved a sphere and camera.
  • When the man tried to touch his eye, Dis lost control of his emotions, roared Feis's name, and threatened Hua Ji.
  • Dis had the probe collect spores Brando had left in the soil, then boarded his saucer and left.
  • The man reported the alien to the police, but the officers mistook his account for nonsense and sent him home with his family.
  • Dis expected Earthlings and authorities to dismiss the sighting, as they had done on his previous visits.
