As the days went by, the Scottish Highlands grew colder and colder.

Every morning, the students had to brave the strong draft and wander around the castle in small groups.

It should be said that Dumbledore's new temporary school rules were quite effective, as no students were petrified for a whole week.

Meanwhile, Professor Snape also began secretly investigating the Slytherin students to see who had any blood relation to the Gaunt family.

Professor Dumbledore himself went to the orphanage where Voldemort was a child, intending to find out where he came from.

Harry also found this absurd. No, you've been the Headmaster for so many years, and you don't care about the students' specific backgrounds at all?

Ordinary students are one thing, but that's Voldemort, a born evil brat!

Harry thought to himself that if he were the Headmaster, he would have investigated Voldemort thoroughly—even finding out what kind of cake Voldemort ate on his third birthday.

Oh, sorry Tom, I forgot your mother doesn't love you, and even if she were alive, she wouldn't celebrate your birthday, Harry thought maliciously.

Given that the Basilisk still existed in the school, Harry asked someone to buy a pair of Two-way mirror, wrote a letter to Pabbie, and gave it to the owls in the Owlery to deliver to Mr. LeMay.

The letter essentially said that the school was still quite dangerous and suggested that Pabbie stay with Mr. LeMay for a while longer.

The house of Mr. LeMay was also bustling with activity. On November 9th, Newt Scamander and his wife, a Slytherin student Scamander, Tina to Mr. LeMay's cottage.

Newt had actually already set off for France, but due to some historical reasons, it was difficult for him to enter and exit the country.

He was only able to legally enter France after the investigation lasted until today.

Upon arriving in France, he and his wife Apparition to the outside of Mr. LeMay's cottage.

The Scamander were among the few wizards who knew of the existence of Mr. LeMay's cabin, so the Fidelius Charm would not have any effect on them.

"Mr. LeMay," Newt knocked on the door.

A short while later, Dico opened the door and welcomed the Scamander into the cabin.

Pushing open the door, you are greeted by Mr. LeMay, who is intently staring at a large, glowing box. His hand is also moving a plastic mouse-like object in his hand, making a clicking sound from time to time.

A little behind Mr. LeMay was a Unicorn sleeping on the sofa.

"Mr. LeMay?" Newt greeted tentatively.

However, Mr. LeMay did not respond at all, and was still staring intently at the large box.

Newt stepped forward and waved his hand in front of Mr. LeMay.

Mr. LeMay then came to his senses and belatedly uttered an "Oh."

"Oh, it's Newt. When did you arrive?" he chuckled.

Newt smiled sheepishly. "I just came in... What are you doing? I remember Albus saying last summer that you seemed to be planning to die with Mrs. LeMay? I also received many things from you..."

"Oh, you mean that?" Mr. LeMay smiled at Newt. "I regret it. Now I think living is actually full of fun—look, this, this..."

Mr. LeMay was like a child introducing toys to his friends, showing Newt the things in front of him.

"This is the new product of the Muggle —the computer," Mr. LeMay said happily. "It's this little thing that has made me rediscover the meaning of life—look, in just over a hundred years, Muggle have invented such an interesting thing. And look at the Wizarding World!"

"The Wizarding World is fine too, Mr. LeMay," Newt said.

"No, that's not good," Mr. LeMay said seriously. "The wizards have become complacent and have completely lost their ambition—oh, never mind that, what you're doing is..."

Newt then remembered the purpose of his visit, blushed slightly, and began to speak.

"I heard Mr. Potter from Hogwarts mention a Unicorn Lady —her name was Pabbie, I think?"

"Yes," said Mr. LeMay. "I forgot, you love Magical Creatures —don't you? Like how you always carry a few Niffler in your bag. You didn't bring them this time, did you?"

"No," Newt replied with absolute certainty.

Mr. LeMay was relieved. He smiled at Newt and said, "You have to understand the hardships of an old man. His Alchemy Room can't withstand a nest of Niffler anymore—so you want to understand Pabbie, right?"

"Yes," Newt nodded. "I heard from Mr. Potter that this Unicorn Lady named Pabbie doesn't seem to have a very sensitive sense of taste?"

Mr. LeMay glanced at Pabbie, who was still sleeping. "Yes, but her case is rather special. I still suggest you consult her before proceeding with the study..."

"Okay, Mr. LeMay, okay," Newt said, sitting down on the sofa next to his wife Tina.

"She's so beautiful, so elegant... isn't she?" Tina gazed at Pabbie with fascination.

Just as she finished speaking, Pabbie suddenly blew a snot bubble from her nose, which popped with a "pop" to Tina's astonishment.

"Phew... I wasn't asleep."

Pabbie opened her eyes, looking somewhat bewildered at the two extra people in front of her.

"Hello." She yawned and turned to look at Newt and Tina, who were watching her intently.

The two people and a Unicorn with six eyes looked at each other, neither knowing what to say first.

In the end, Newt spoke first.

"Hello, I'm Newt." Newt extended his hand. "Newt Scamander, it's an honor to meet you, Miss Pabbie."

Only after speaking did he realize that he was facing Unicorn, not a human. His face flushed red, and he lowered his head, withdrawing his hand. "I'm sorry, Miss Pabbie, I forgot about you..."

"It's alright." Pabbie raised one front paw. "Hello, Mr. Scamander, and Mrs. Scamander."

As she spoke, Pabbie's eyes glazed over for a moment.

Scamander?

This surname... why does it look so familiar?

Newt and Tina's eyes lit up. After shaking hands with Pabbie, Newt bombarded her with a barrage of questions.

Pabbie stumped by the barrage of questions. Circles appeared around her eyes, making her look rather dim.

Tina noticed Pabbie's expression and quickly tugged at Newt.

"I'm sorry..." Newt said embarrassedly, "I really... I've never been close to Unicorn before, I'm sorry, Miss Pabbie."

"It's alright." Pabbie smiled gently. For some reason, she felt a sense of warmth and kindness towards the old man in front of her.

This feeling of closeness was strange; it was as if we had some kind of connection...

Newt hummed in agreement, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Miss Pabbie, your name... um, do you know Miss Sweeting Pabbie Sweeting?"

Upon hearing Newt's question, Mr. LeMay turned his chair around, looking on with amusement.

Wow, I never expected that Newt would know Miss Sweeting?

However... it's hard to say, after all, Newt was born in 1897.

"Pabbie Sweeting?"

Upon hearing the name, Pabbie straightened up.

"How do you know her?" Pabbie's eyes showed a hint of wariness.

She looked at Mr. LeMay again, a hint of doubt in her eyes.

Why does this Mr. Scamander know my name?

"I... my mother... she had a sister," Newt said, blushing. "Her name was Linda Scamander ... oh, right, before she got married, her name was Linda Sweeting ..."

Pabbie was stunned.

She never imagined that after so many years, there would still be relatives living in the world.

At that moment, she also remembered why the surname Scamander seemed so familiar...

In 1887, her sister married a man named Scamander. At the time, she was still attending Hogwarts, but she also attended their wedding.

"You... you are my sister's son?" Pabbie exclaimed in disbelief.

"Elder sister?!"

Newt stood up abruptly, staring in shock at Pabbie in front of him.

Tina looked incredulous upon hearing Pabbie's words.

She never imagined that the Unicorn Lady in front of her was actually... actually her husband's mother's sister? That is, her and her husband's aunt?

"You... you mean..." Newt stammered, pointing a trembling finger at Pabbie, "You... you're Pabbie Sweeting? My aunt?"

However, this was an expected reaction, since anyone who saw a Unicorn say "I am your aunt" would immediately think it was impossible.

Pabbie nodded, then belatedly uttered an "oh," and with a flash of light, a beautiful ghost girl dressed in Hufflepuff school uniform appeared on the spot.

"Oh, now you should believe me." Pabbie held out her hand. "Here—let's get to know each other again, my nephew... I'm your aunt, Pabbie Sweeting."

Newt mechanically reached out, only to grasp at nothing.

"What happened to you?" Newt asked.

"I turned into a ghost," Pabbie said succinctly. "I had some problems while practicing magical Margus, and that's how I ended up like this."

As she spoke, she put her hands behind her back, bent down to look up at Newt's lowered head, and said with a smile, "You really aren't like your mother, Newt. Linda is very outgoing—look, she loves to hug people, and you didn't inherit that trait."

Newt smiled sheepishly and said, "My brother Theseus inherited our mother's extroversion and is a hugging monster—but I inherited our mother's love for Magical Creatures."

"Yes, Linda really likes Hippogriff," Pabbie said with a smile, then added after a moment's thought, "Ah, Theseus, I remember him—if I'm not mistaken, he was born when I was in third grade, and I even held him in my arms."

"Really?" Newt did a quick calculation. "You were in third grade in 1889?"

"Yeah, right." Pabbie twirled around. "This is what I looked like in seventh grade. Pretty young, huh?"

Newt felt a soreness in his throat.

"Have you been like this all these years? A ghost all this time?" he asked in a hoarse voice.

"Sometimes I'm Unicorn too." Pabbie sat back on the sofa. "Compared to a ghost, I still prefer to be a carefree Unicorn... a unicorn."

Newt turned back to Mr. LeMay.

"Mr. LeMay, please allow me to speak with Theseus about Aunt Pabbie," he said. "I feel it's a matter of great importance that he should be informed."

Mr. LeMay waved his withered hand impatiently, took small steps, and sat back down in front of the computer.

His meaning was clear: do whatever you want, don't bother me while I'm playing on the computer!

Newt glanced back at Tina, pulled a small card from his pocket, and turned to leave Mr. LeMay's Alchemy Room.

A short while later, he led in a tall, thin, handsome old man.

It was his brother, Theseus Scamander.

Theseus, clearly unaware of the truth, asked Newt, bewildered, "What is it that has me in such a hurry?"

"You'll see when you get there," Newt said, pushing Theseus into the house.

Mr. LeMay's Alchemy Room was really small; it started to feel crowded after a few more people joined.

Theseus looked left and right; it was his first time visiting Mr. LeMay's house.

He had certainly heard of the legendary alchemist's name—but the last time he had seen Mr. Lemaître was decades ago at Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.

"Hello, Mr. LeMay," Theseus greeted LeMay, who was sitting in front of his computer playing Civilization I.

Mr. LeMay turned his head and said in a friendly manner, "Hello—alright, don't worry about me, child."

Theseus felt a little uncomfortable; in fact, no one had called him "child" since he came of age.

However, it's not entirely unacceptable. After all, compared to Mr. LeMay, who lived for over six hundred years, let alone Mr. Lemaître being only a little over a hundred years old, even if he lived for another two or three hundred years, he would still be a child.

"Look who this is..." Newt grabbed Theseus by the shoulder and turned him toward Pabbie.

Upon seeing his elderly nephew, Pabbie reached out to greet him.

"Hi, Theseus, it's been a long time—"

Theseus was clearly not quite sure what was going on. The moment he saw the Hufflepuff ghost, he felt that she looked familiar, but he couldn't quite place where he had seen her before.

"Hello, miss," Theseus asked hesitantly, "Do we know each other?"

"She's our aunt," Newt kindly reminded him, "Pabbie, Pabbie Sweeting, Mom's sister..."

Upon hearing Newt's explanation, Theseus realized why the girl in front of him looked so familiar.

When Pabbie was two or three years old, before he went missing, he loved to play with his aunt.

My aunt's pockets seemed to have an endless supply of delicious food, as well as all sorts of trinkets from Hogsmeade, which was quite interesting.

Children his age, in particular, are most susceptible to temptation.

Consequently, he also grew to like this aunt the most.

Perhaps it was because of Pabbie's influence that he also entered Hufflepuff House.

In fact, Theseus ' mother Linda, Theseus, and Newt were all Hufflepuff House alumni.

"Aunt Pabbie?" Theseus shuffled forward with heavy steps, somewhat incredulous. "Really, really it's you? But how did you become like this?"

"Me?" Pabbie laughed. "It was just a little accident..."

Theseus stepped forward, seemingly wanting to hug his aunt like he did when he was a child, only to awkwardly discover that she was now a ghost.

"Oh, you must be like Linda, right?" Pabbie said understandingly, transforming back into Unicorn: "Now we can hug—"

Theseus mechanically stepped forward, opened his arms and gently hugged Pabbie's head, almost getting poked by the horn.

"What's going on here? Why is your human form a ghost, while your Animagus form is a physical Unicorn?"

"To be honest, I can't explain it either. Perhaps this is the price of the magical Margus," Pabbie said casually, but there was no sadness or sorrow in his eyes. Instead, he was still full of energy. "Alright, alright, I'm telling you two nephews—don't look so gloomy, smile..."

Just then, the Hogwarts owls also arrived near Mr. LeMay's residence.

Dico used Apparition to go outside, took down the letters and Two-way mirror brought by the owl, and fed the owl some food and water.

Back in the Alchemy Room, he handed the letter and the Two-way mirror to Pabbie.

"Miss Sweeting, this is a letter from Young Master Potter," he said.

Pabbie said "Oh," and then said to Newt, "Newt, help Auntie open the letter... yes, put it in front of me."

The group gathered around and read the contents of the letter together.

"That Harry, he actually left me in France!" Pabbie said indignantly. "It's just Basilisk, it can't just wander outside Hogwarts Castle..."

"I think Mr. Potter is right," Newt said, bowing his head. "Albus and I talked about this before, and I also thought that the beast causing trouble in the school was the Basilisk —I just didn't expect that this Basilisk would actually be kept by Slytherin."

"I've read Slytherin's handwritten letter." Pabbie picked up the letter irritably and swung it around in the air. "That old man is really... unusually stubborn, but that's not the reason Harry didn't come back for me."

"Wait a minute!" Former Chief Auror of the Ministry of Magic suddenly noticed a blind spot. "Aunt Pabbie, is this Mr. Potter you're talking about the boy who Dumbledore's the Boy Who Lived?"

"Yes." Pabbie nodded, then looked at Newt: "Didn't Newt say he saw him a few days ago?"

"Yes." Newt recalled for a moment, then smiled and said, "That boy was very polite and had a very keen eye. Now I know why Dumbledore."

Tina, who had been listening to the conversation, suddenly exclaimed upon hearing Newt's words, "So now Dumbledore's favorite student is Harry?"

Upon hearing this, Newt seemed to recall something terrifying, and his face involuntarily twitched.

"Oh my god, Tina, you remind me of something bad." Newt shook his head frantically, waving his hands incessantly.

Tina laughed and pressed on, "What, are you thinking of that Grindelwald who was disguised as Percival Graves? Oh—I remember when he was interrogating you, he said, 'What makes Albus Dumbledore?' Good heavens, he was such vinegar king."

The affair between Dumbledore and Grindelwald wasn't exactly a secret among Dumbledore's inner circle—I heard it from Abufosi.

When talking about this, Abufosi was furious and even broke several plates.

Everyone laughed at Tina's teasing, including Mr. LeMay, who had been sitting in front of the computer, keeping a close eye on everything.

"Grindelwald?" Pabbie suddenly became alert. "Wait, which Grindelwald?"

"Gellert Grindelwald," Newt said, beginning to give his aunt a detailed account of the love stories GGAD had heard from Abufosi and Dumbledore himself.

Pabbie was initially incredulous, then hesitant, but ultimately chose to accept it without agreeing with it.

"My God, I can't believe how Veratia will react when she comes back and finds out that her brother had such a relationship with Dumbledore." Pabbie shuddered, and seeing everyone's puzzled looks, she introduced them, "Oh, Veratia is our classmate, Slytherin's... um, Verathea Grindelwald, Gellert Grindelwald's sister."

"There's such a thing?" Newt's eyes widened as he looked at Pabbie.

"Yes, Veratia's brother is indeed named Gellert —I remember Harry went to Nurmengard during the summer after fifth grade, and he didn't have a very good impression of Gellert. He heard that Gellert had a bad temper and always had a grumpy face, which might also be related to Harry often pinching him."

Everyone present had seen Gellert Grindelwald in person, and they simply couldn't imagine someone pinching his face.

My God, this is absolutely brutal.

"Wait a minute—" Newt suddenly realized something was wrong. "Aunt Pabbie, you mean... Harry? Harry Potter? Oh my god, I know the Harry from a hundred years ago, but I've never associated him with this Mr. Potter —and you two are such good friends, could it be... could it be him..."

"Yes, that's Harry," Pabbie admitted directly. "But I suggest we don't tell Dumbledore about this for now. After all... Harry and Gellert's sister are so close, and now Veratia is... I'm afraid Dumbledore might develop some prejudice against Veratia if he finds out."

"Okay, Aunt Pabbie," Newt nodded obediently.

He suddenly added, "However... I find it hard to imagine what it will be like when Gellert sees Mr. Potter again."

"Why?" Tina and Theseus asked together.

"Oh my God, just think about it." Newt waved his hand in the air. "This Mr. Potter is now not only Dumbledore's favorite student, but also his sister's favorite classmate—good heavens, I can't imagine what that European vinegar king will do, but I know that burning down Paris alone won't be enough."

Newt rarely jokes; he has always been a rather unsociable person.

But when these kinds of people make jokes, they're often quite cold...

but...

After thinking it over, everyone mourned for Harry.

Good heavens, I hope this Harry Potter isn't destroyed by Grindelwald.

"What's with that look on your faces?" Pabbie stomped her foot on the floor. "Good heavens, you guys don't actually think Gellert can beat Harry?"

"Isn't that so?" Newt tilted his head to the side. "Grindelwald is a well-known Dark Wizard. He's very powerful... Only Dumbledore could defeat him."

"You probably don't know Harry," Pabbie sighed. "But... we'll have to wait until they meet to find out. Personally, I think..."

He had only spoken halfway when the Two-way mirror began to shake.

"It should be Mr. Potter." Newt picked up the Two-way mirror and handed it to Pabbie.

Pabbie transformed back into her Unicorn form in a flash, leaving Newt stunned.

Soon, Harry's face appeared in the Two-way mirror.

"Hi, Pabbie," Harry greeted cheerfully. "How have you been?"

"Me?" Pabbie thought for a moment, then smiled and said, "I'm fine, I've been doing pretty well lately—but you, why didn't you come to pick me up?"

The tone of her voice was clearly off when she said that; it sounded like she was being coquettish.

Newt didn't think anything of it, but Tina and Theseus exchanged a glance and realized something was wrong.

"Isn't this the Basilisk?" Harry waved his hand. "Professor Dumbledore even recently issued a school rule that everyone must travel in groups of three or more within the school and no one is allowed to act alone—I'm doing this for your own good. You know Moaning Myrtle? She was a Ravenclaw student who came more than fifty years after us. She became a ghost because she made eye contact with the Basilisk."

Finally, Harry added, "Pabbie, I don't want you to become a ghost like Myrtle, or I'll be sad."

Upon hearing the following sentence, Pabbie was visibly stunned for a moment.

"Okay, sure," Pabbie said with a smile. "Don't worry, Harry— "

"Okay, that's settled then. I'll pick you up after we deal with the Basilisk," Harry said to Pabbie. "And while I'm at it, take care of the Hogwarts school board member matters. Ah... well, Ron and the others will be back soon. Talk to you later—"

After saying that, Harry hung up the Two-way mirror.

Pabbie gestured for Newt to take the mirror away, and then transformed back into human form.

An eerie silence fell over the room.

Just then, Theseus broke the silence.

As the former chief Auror of the Ministry of Magic, his sense of smell was naturally incredibly sharp.

He could even tell from Pabbie's Unicorn- like face that this aunt definitely had some special feelings for Mr. Potter.

So he carefully chose his words and asked, "Um, Aunt Pabbie, do you... do you like this Mr. Potter?"

Believe it or not, the atmosphere in the room became even more eerie after Theseus asked that question.

After understanding what she was saying, Tina painfully covered her forehead and sighed silently.

Newt stared wide-eyed, somewhat incredulous at his brother's bravery— the Bowtruckle in his pocket was the same, as if it could understand human speech.

As for Mr. LeMay, he was leisurely putting on his headphones, trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the world.

"No wonder my brother's still single." Newt lowered his head, gossiping rapidly with Tina about his brother's personal life. "My goodness, look at his emotional intelligence..."

Tina glared at Newt, seemingly annoyed by her husband's wild guesses.

In fact, everyone knows that the reason Theseus has been single is because of Leta.

At Père Lachaise Cemetery, Theseus's fiancée was burned to ashes by Gellert's Fiendfyre while trying to save Theseus and Newt. From that moment on, Theseus never fell in love with another woman.

Pabbie sat on the sofa, stunned for a moment, before murmuring, "Do you like it?"

She kept her feelings for Harry buried deep in her heart and never dared to reveal them to the public.

Look at who's around Harry... From first to fourth year, the Malfoy family's eldest daughter was like a mother hen protecting her chicks, keeping Harry firmly under her wing—and in fifth year, Grindelwald forcefully joined the Malfoy' side.

That Miss Grindelwald wasn't just a transfer student; she even ended up sitting next to Harry.

One is a young lady from a wealthy family, the other is a successor of Ancient Magic; Pabbie truly doesn't think she has anything that can compete with them.

So she could only bury this feeling in her heart and dared not tell anyone—not even Harry.

She was afraid that if she spoke out, she wouldn't even be able to remain friends with her.

Yes, if you didn't love someone to the extreme, why would you cross the line between life and death to wait for that boy?

"Aunt Pabbie," Theseus was practically going berserk today, "What I really suggest is, if you like someone, go for it! You... you're practicing Animagus, it must be for Mr. Potter, right? That's why you've become like this. I'm sure Mr. Potter also feels the same way about you..."

"I have no idea."

Pabbie lowered her head, unusually refraining from displaying her energetic demeanor in front of others.

"I don't know, I really don't know."

She covered her face, and large, silvery-white ghost tears streamed through her fingers.

I don't know when Mr. LeMay sat down, and he was holding two test tubes under Pabbie's face to catch the ghost tears.

Seeing his friends' puzzled expressions, Mr. LeMay silently mouthed, "Don't waste it."

"Cassandra is the Malfoy family's eldest daughter, and Veratia is so outstanding, what do I have... what do I have..."

She murmured.

Tina shifted her body and sat down next to Pabbie.

She carefully extended her hand and whispered, "Aunt Pabbie, you still have us—all of us. We will always support you."

"Yes, Aunt Pabbie," Theseus and Newt said together, "You still have us."

Hearing these words, Pabbie raised his face and asked pitifully.

"Really?"

"Of course it's true," Tina said softly. "Don't worry, we will definitely help you."

"Okay!" Pabbie wiped away her tears and shook her hand forcefully.

With an agility beyond his years, Mr. LeMay caught the splashing ghostly tears in the narrow opening of the test tube.

Seeing Mr. LeMay's actions, Newt couldn't help but say, "Mr. LeMay, this..."

"Haha." Mr. LeMay carefully put the test tube away. "We need to be economical."

Newt lowered his head again and said to Pabbie, "Don't worry, Aunt Pabbie, now that we're a hundred years in the future, you still have us—we'll definitely help you get together with Mr. Potter!"

Harry, far away at Hogwarts, was unaware that the "HarryPabbie Party" had been established in Paris, France. He immediately got up and prepared to go upstairs to the Room of Requirement to begin training.

He had indeed planned to train in the Forbidden Forest, but unfortunately, there were people patrolling outside today, and they had set up Anti-Disillusionment Charm and invisibility mechanisms, preventing them from sneaking into the Forbidden Forest.

Cedric and Megan were already waiting there beneath the image of the Troll Who Beat Barnaby Silly.

Harry greeted them and asked the Room of Requirement for a meeting room.

Yes, he plans to try something new today, instead of just training and playing against each other.

Sitting in the main seat of the conference room, Harry spoke first, "Everyone has done a good job with the recent combat training missions. I've noticed that you've all mastered at least five Charms to use in duels—but today, I'm going to teach you some little Charms that you won't learn in textbooks."

Everyone got excited when they heard it was the "little Charms" that meant "not learning from textbooks".

"That's great." Cedric said with a bright smile, "I really want to know what kind of spell you can teach us in the Room of Requirement, since we won't learn that in textbooks."

Poor Cedric, he has no idea what he is about to learn.

Hermione, however, suddenly frowned. Something just didn't feel right, and she even started thinking about the book "The Harmless Minor Curses" published by the Gaunt family.

Could it be...

Is Harry going to teach us those Gaunt family -selected "Minor Curses" that can easily lead to a Dementor's soul-sucking feast?!

Before Hermione could think about it, she noticed that Harry had pulled out several wands from somewhere and handed them out one by one.

Upon seeing the secondhand wand, Hermione let out a burp.

Good heavens, it seems I really need to learn the Hell-related Charms!

"Here, take these wands," Harry said with a smile. "I figured you wouldn't want to use some Charms that could be detected with Flashback Charm, so I borrowed some old wands from outside."

"How did you borrow it?" Ron asked curiously. "Wizards value their wands like their own lives, why would they lend it to you?"

Harry was about to answer when he remembered a famous line from "The Godfather," the movie Uncle Vernon loved to watch. He then twirled his hand with great flair and said, "I gave them a reason they couldn't refuse."

Most of the people present were children from wizarding families, so they naturally didn't know what the sentence meant— Hermione, of course, didn't know either, as she wasn't interested in these movies.

However, his instincts told him that Harry's reason was definitely not good.

"Alright, now let's pick up our wands," Harry said to everyone. "The Charms we're about to learn will be very useful to you—but I don't recommend you use them carelessly outside."

"What kind of Charms is it, Harry?" Seamus asked with interest. "Is it some kind of Charms about explosions? Let's blow this damn place to the sky!"

"No, no, Seamus." Harry leaned against the table, looked around, and asked, "Among the many Dark Arts curses, there are three Unforgivable Curse. Do you know what they are?"

"The Cruciatus Curse, Harry." Neville shuddered, but still answered the question.

"And the Killing Curse," Hermione said.

"And the Imperius Curse," Cedric added.

"I'm glad you know these three spells," Harry said, clapping his hands. "But I hope you never encounter them. The reason we're here to practice is precisely to keep ourselves free from these things—well, let's start with the Imperius Curse."

"Does anyone know the key to the Imperius Curse?" Harry asked.

The room fell silent. They had never paid any attention to the incantation before—even if they had seen it, they would have simply skipped over it.

"Alright, let me tell you." When no one answered, Harry said, "The Imperius Curse, the spell is Imperio, is used to control the behavior of someone or something, and it is one of the Unforgivable Curse."

"When the spell hits its target, the caster will feel a warm current, and at the same time, the caster will control the behavior and words of the controlled person, just like a puppet on a string."

With that, Harry pulled a spider out of his wallet.

"Engorgio (Engorgio)!"

Under the influence of the Charms, the spider's body rapidly swelled.

In that instant, Ron, terrified of the spider, quickly retreated, trying to get away from the Giant Spider.

"Imperio!" Harry used the Charms again.

He controlled the spider, making it jump around. "Look, under the influence of the Charms, it is completely at my mercy—that's why the Imperius Curse is listed as one of the the three Unforgivable Curses; it can make a person lose their sense of self and become subservient to the caster."

"I've heard that many wizards claimed years ago that they were under the influence of the Imperius Curse and tried to absolve themselves of their guilt," Harry told them. "I'm talking about the days when Voldemort's power was at its peak. It kept the Ministry of Magic very busy trying to distinguish who was being forced to act and who was acting of their own volition."

As he spoke, he cast a Vanishment Charm on the spider.

The students present all looked rather grim, since they had never encountered the Unforgivable Curse before.

This was the first time Harry had ever practiced so openly in front of them.

"Hogwarts really protects you too well!" Harry, of course, noticed everyone's expressions. He slammed his fist on the table, exasperated, and said, "If we don't let you come into contact with these spells, are we supposed to wait until we encounter Death Eater, watch them use the Unforgivable Curse on you, and just obediently wait to die without being able to do anything effective?"

Upon hearing Harry's words, all the students present lowered their heads and fell into thought.

To be fair, while the Imperius Curse is very painful, Harry does have a point.

If I don't learn how to deal with it now, am I supposed to wait until I leave school and have Dark Wizard teach me?

Will the Dark Wizard still show mercy at that point?

"I understand, Harry," Cedric was the first to react. "I get what you mean—thank you."

Harry's expression softened slightly.

"Harry, I understand your good intentions," Hermione said, and following her, everyone expressed their understanding of Harry's radical teaching methods.

What else? If Harry can't teach, are we supposed to let the Dark Wizard teach?

"I'm glad you accepted that. It seems you're not the kind of stubborn people who can't think straight." Harry nodded in satisfaction and continued, "Alright, let's get back to the Imperius Curse —I need to tell you that this Charms can be resisted, with your strong willpower. Not everyone can master it."

"But practice has shown that prolonged and repeated exposure to the Imperius Curse can develop resistance to the Charms," Harry repeated. "What I need you to do is practice on each other many times until you develop resistance to the Charms, at least so that you won't be easily controlled by Dark Wizard, understand?"

"Understood!" everyone answered in unison.

Seamus suddenly raised his hand and asked, "Then, Professor, I have a question."

"You say it," Harry said.

"What about the next two spells? We can't just use them on each other, can we?" Seamus said, scratching his head.

Harry chuckled and shook his head. "How could that be? We're not that bad off—but I'll demonstrate a few times with targets, and then I'll teach you the proper way to deal with it. Okay, I'll start teaching you how to use the Imperius Curse now. Remember not to grab the wrong wands; just use the secondhand wands I borrowed."

After he finished speaking, he stretched out his magic wand and drew a series of trajectories in the air.

"See that? That's the trajectory of the Imperius Curse," Harry said to them. "Come on, repeat after me... imperio!"

Everyone waved their wands in a very convincing manner, learning by following Harry's movements.

"Good, good." Harry checked them one by one. "All well done—you, Ron, your pronunciation is a little off. It's imperio, not impero!"

Ron gave an "oh" and began practicing again, waving his wand.

Once they had practiced enough, Harry said, "Now you can start, two people per group, and begin practicing this Charms... Cedric, you're in a group with Megan; Seamus, you're in a group with Neville; Ron, you're in a group with Hermione."

Upon hearing Harry's group assignments, they began to take their positions.

"Alright, let's start practicing—who wants to go first?" Harry asked.

"I'll go first!" Megan stepped forward, pointing her wand at Cedric: "Imperio!"

Cedric suddenly paused, raised both hands in a standard French military salute, and swayed his body in a wave-like motion.

Everyone burst into laughter when they saw his comical appearance.

Megan laughed out loud as she continued to control Cedric, making him tap dance and jump around like a zombie.

A short while later, Cedric shook his head, seemingly breaking free from the Imperius Curse.

"My God, this feeling," Cedric shook his head. "Is this what it feels like to be controlled by the Imperius Curse? I think I've figured out some tricks..."

"Shall we do it again?" Megan asked considerately.

Cedric drew his wand and, without a word, cast Charms on her in return.

Under the Charms, Megan hopped around a couple of times and began to demonstrate the traditional Ireland dance, Riverdance.

Megan is quite skilled at tap dancing, and she can occasionally show everyone some new tricks.

After about a minute, Cedric broke free of the Imperius Curse's control.

"It certainly wasn't a pleasant experience," Megan said, panting heavily as she clutched her aching back. "I always felt like there was some unseen voice urging me to do something, but I couldn't find a way to resist those commands... What frightened me was that I actually enjoyed being ordered around back then, I was even somewhat addicted to it..."

"Really?" Hermione said incredulously, believing that with her willpower, she should be able to break free from control quickly—let alone Ron's control.

"Eat the spell, Hermione!" Ron eagerly threw out the Charms —he'd been wanting to do it for a long time.

Hermione, controlled by the Imperius Curse, reached for the books on the table and began tearing them apart, seemingly quite absorbed in the experience.

After she tore up the notebook, Ron ordered her to restore it with Charms and then brought her to his side.

"I'm sorry, Ron, I'll never yell at you again," Hermione said gently.

Ron grinned and exclaimed, "See? That's Hermione's promise—"

As he spoke, he released the Imperius Curse.

In that instant, Hermione's hair swelled up.

"We agreed not to get angry before we practiced the Charms!" Ron said quickly.

Hearing this, Hermione finally calmed down.

In fact, it wasn't that she couldn't handle the risk; she just felt that tearing up a book was a waste, especially since the notebook was something she had painstakingly made—luckily, this was a magical world, and she had just restored the Notebook under Ron's control.

For the sake of the final restoration Charms, Hermione decided not to hold a grudge against Ron.

"Alright, Ronald." Hermione clapped her hands with her wand, a knowing smile on her face. "Now, isn't it my turn?"

Ron swallowed hard, then stood tall like Cromwell on his deathbed. "Go ahead and use your Charms on me. I wouldn't be Ron if I even flinched!"

"Imperio!"

Ron, under the Charms, chuckled foolishly and began to perform a robotic dance on the spot.

It's hard to imagine that a wizard could imitate a robot so well, even surpassing many professional robot dance masters.

"I don't eat chicken legs, I don't eat chicken legs..." Ron muttered, as if he were on repeat, endlessly repeating the same phrase.

But after saying it for the seventh time, Ron suddenly broke free from the Charms's control.

"I can't live without chicken legs!" Ron shouted angrily, clenching his fists.

Only after he roared did he belatedly realize that he had broken free from the Imperius Curse.

"Huh?" He was somewhat surprised.

He never imagined that his love for chicken legs would actually help him overcome Hermione's Imperius Curse.

No one present expected that Ron would be the first person to break free of the Imperius Curse.

Even Harry thought the first person to break free of the Imperius Curse would be Cedric, an older student, or Hermione, who was always a formidable opponent.
