The Malfoys Press for Marriage
The wedding banquet officially began, which also meant the end of Cassandra's career as a bridesmaid.
She sat down next to Harry, wearing that beautiful bridesmaid dress.
"You did a great job as a bridesmaid, Cass," Harry, not forgetting to offer his praise.
"These are basic requirements for a bridesmaid, Harry." Cassandra took the Butterbeer Harry offered and took a graceful sip.
"See that?" Cassandra glanced in Veratia's direction. "Look at Grindelwald —he's a born politician. If I had to do something like that, I probably wouldn't have been able to stand it."
"Everyone has their own choices," Harry said with a shrug. "This is the life Veratia likes, isn't it?"
Cassandra smiled, but said nothing more.
After the wedding, Sirius left with Miss Farley —no, now Mrs. Black.
The two of them returned to Grimmauld Place, Number 12, and the others went home as well. Harry, however, went back to the Malfoy Manor with Cassandra.
He actually wanted to stay at school, but Cassandra wouldn't allow it.
He tried one last time to argue that Anne had nowhere to go, but Anne smiled and said she could stay at Hogwarts for the time being.
well--
It seemed there was no escaping it, so Harry had no choice but to compromise.
Draco was ecstatic the whole way, pestering Harry with all sorts of chatter until the disgruntled Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy forced him back into his seat.
If it were possible, Lucius wished he had never been born, given his son's lack of common sense.
However, without Draco as a third wheel, an eerie silence fell over the carriage.
Harry placed his hand on Cassandra's thigh and gently grabbed her hand as she tried to pull it away.
The two sat side by side like that until they arrived at the Malfoy Manor.
"It's getting late, Harry," Cassandra said as she entered the mansion. "Let's talk about seeing my father tomorrow."
After saying that, she gave Harry a meaningful look, then turned and went back to her room.
Harry had always kept his room in the Malfoy family, but since it was a distance from Cassandra's room, Harry made an excuse, saying he was a little sleepy, and went back to his own room first.
In the middle of the night, Harry tiptoed out of bed and went to Cassandra's door.
He reached out and pushed the door, only to find it locked from the inside.
What should we do?
Harry wasn't flustered. He reached out and touched the lock, whispering, "Alohomora (Alohomora)."
!"
With a soft click as the lock opened, there was no longer any obstacle in Harry's path.
He tiptoed open the door, then closed and locked it from the inside, before stealthily making his way forward.
Harry made his way to Cassandra's bedside and tentatively called out, "Cass?"
There was no sound except for Cassandra's even breathing.
Harry rubbed his ribs to bolster his courage, then lifted a corner of the blanket and crawled inside.
His strange hand reached forward and touched Cassandra's soft, cottony belly.
Cassandra remained completely unaware and slept soundly.
Harry grew bolder, and as he touched her, his hands began to wander...

After everything was over, Harry breathed a sigh of relief. He looked at Cassandra again, only to find that she had opened her eyes at some point and was looking at him with an embarrassed and annoyed expression.
"Ah, you're awake?" Harry said shamelessly. "I called you for ages, but you weren't going to wake up, so I just—"
But by this time, Harry had already made up his mind.
Cassandra was definitely pretending to be asleep; in fact, Cassandra was awake from the moment he entered.
However, he didn't intend to expose her, knowing that Cassandra was very sensitive.
"Shall we continue?" he asked tentatively.
Cassandra continued to stare at him intently. Harry, unsure of what was happening, was about to say something when he noticed that Cassandra's eyes had closed.
At that moment, Harry understood what it meant.

The next morning, Harry got up very early.
You don't understand the power of the humanoid Philosopher's Stone. In fact, as he grows older, the bond between him and the Philosopher's Stone deepens. He doesn't need to rest at all; sleeping is just a habit.
An ox with inexhaustible energy.
Seeing Cassandra sleeping soundly, Harry didn't wake her and walked out of the room himself.
Lucius had already gotten up and was sitting in the Living Room reading the Daily Prophet.
When Harry came out, Lucius smiled and nodded at him.
Good morning, Harry.
"Good morning, Lucius," Harry said with a smile, then looked around but couldn't find Draco, so he asked, "Where's Draco?"
"They should still be sleeping at this time," Lucius said.
"Kids, huh?" Harry started making small talk, "It's normal for them to sleep in."
Lucius had initially wanted to say that Lucius was also around that age, but then he considered the other person's true identity and decided not to say anything more.
He'd long since given up on the idea of "tiger parenting" (or "tiger parenting" in the traditional sense). And even then, it depends on who you're comparing your child to. Comparing them to Harry Potter? That's ridiculous!
Lucius knew his son's limitations; he believed that no matter how much he pushed his son, nothing was more effective than building a good relationship with Harry.
By the time Cassandra woke up, it was almost noon.
After brunch, Cassandra led him to the portrait of Mr. Septimus.
"Ha, Potter!"
Mr. Septimus's first words upon seeing Harry were these.
As for the tone of voice—it was impossible to tell whether it was good or bad.
But seeing Harry, it's inevitable to feel annoyed.
"Hello, Mr. Malfoy," Harry greeted politely.
"Looks like your Godfather, Black family home Sirius, is already married?" Septimus didn't launch any verbal attacks at Harry; instead, he started chatting with Harry like old friends.
Harry was clearly surprised that his father-in-law would start a casual conversation with him, so he nodded and said, "Yes, speaking of which, Cass was Miss Farley's bridesmaid."
When Harry clearly felt Septimus's eyes light up, as if he had just said the perfect thing.
Septimus's expression suddenly turned serious. "Potter, so when do you plan to marry my daughter? Don't try to change the subject; I'm asking you something very serious!"
"It'll have to wait until after graduation," Harry said, not intending to glibly change the subject. "You know, you can't get married until you're eighteen, and I'm only sixteen this year. I have to wait until I graduate from Hogwarts, right?"
She is indeed sixteen, but she will be seventeen after the New Year.
"If I remember correctly, you seem to have three close female friends," Septimus said seriously. "What will happen to the three of them if you marry Cass?"
Uh, this--
Harry suddenly didn't know how to answer.
"Alright, Dad," Cassandra interjected, trying to smooth things over. "We have our own plans for this, so please don't say any more, okay?"
Cassandra only made things worse; once she spoke, Mr. Septimus clearly lost his composure.
"Potter! You wretched bastard!" he roared furiously, "What kind of bewitching drug did you give Cass?"
Cassandra sighed.
She suddenly stepped forward, took down her father's portrait, and turned it around.
The portrait, which had been hurling insults, fell silent instantly.
"Alright, we should head out now." Cassandra glanced at Harry, who was brandishing his claws. "He already knows what he wants to know, and the rest is beyond his control."
At this point, Cassandra paused for a moment.
yes.
If my father were still alive, he would never allow this to happen.
After lunch, Draco suddenly approached with a sheepish look on his face.
"What's wrong?" Harry could tell from his expression that something was definitely wrong.
"There's something I want to talk to you about." Draco glanced furtively at his parents, then at Cassandra, and seeing that they weren't paying attention to him, he said again, "It's very, very important. Can you come over here first?"
Harry nodded and followed Draco outside.
They walked all the way into the garden before Draco finally spoke, albeit hesitantly.
"Yes, I have a friend—"
Yes, you have a friend.
What a familiar opening line! Harry immediately saw through Draco's charade; it was definitely him.
"Yes, what's wrong with your friend?" Harry asked, suppressing a laugh.
"Well, my friend has fallen for someone," Draco cleared his throat and said. "So my friend—knowing you're pretty good at romance, he wanted me to ask you about it."
"So what does your friend want to ask?" Harry asked.
"Well, the girl he likes—" Draco stammered, unable to continue.
"Briefly summarize what you like—the girl your friend likes," Harry suggested.
Draco cleared his throat and said, "Pure-blood."
"Yes, Pure-blood. Your Malfoy family would never choose a Half-blood or Muggle-born," Harry said with a smile. "That's a family tradition—"
At this point, Harry suddenly realized that this family motto originated from his mother because of him.
Because a tragedy occurred when one of the ancestors' daughters fell in love with Muggle-born wizard, the ancestor, deeply saddened by this, began to forbid his descendants from marrying Muggle-born wizard.
It's not really Mr. Malfoy Sr.'s fault.
"She's very good at Quidditch," Draco continued, "and she has a lively personality, is very skilled with Charms, and is exceptionally beautiful—"
"You might as well just call Ginny by name, "Harry thought.
To summarize these points, who else besides Ginny could it be?
but--
"Ginny?" Harry scratched his chin. "Doesn't Ginny have a boyfriend? You mean Dean Thomas from our house? Your behavior—no, your friend's behavior isn't very good. We can't mess with girls who are already in relationships, can we?"
"I've already found out—my friend has already found out," Draco said eagerly. "Ginny broke up with Thomas the day before yesterday—"
"Is the source reliable?" Harry asked suspiciously.
"Of course it's reliable!" Draco patted his chest and said, "I even asked her sister-in-law Delacour, to find out the information—"
"Wait a minute," Harry suddenly said, "If it's your friend's business, why are you so concerned? You're helping him find out what's going on, and you're even asking me for advice— Draco, could it be you who's fallen for Ginny?"
Draco suddenly opened his mouth, as if to retort, but then pulled it back in. He did this three times before finally lowering his head in dejection.
"Yes, I've fallen for Ginny." He said dejectedly, "But—do you think Ginny would like me back? And I don't think my parents would approve of us—but what can we do?"
"First of all, you can't tell whether Ginny likes you or not until you confess to her." Harry counted on his fingers for Draco. "Secondly, your parents can't possibly disapprove of what you and Ginny have been doing. I think they might even be happy about it. Finally, liking someone is your own business. You have to be brave and go for it. Don't be timid and hesitant like that idiot Ron, understand?"
"Like Weasley?"
Draco's pale face flushed bright red. "I would never be like that coward! I'm telling you! Harry! I'm super brave!"
But Harry didn't see anything brave about Draco; what he did see was that he was a coward.
However, you definitely can't say it like that; it would be hurtful.
He nodded and said rather perfunctorily, "Okay, you're very brave, extremely brave."
Draco clearly didn't catch the sarcasm in Harry's words; he raised his head smugly, then quickly lowered it again.
"Do you think it will work?" he asked uncertainly.
"Look," Harry said, pointing at Draco, "I think you've relapsed into your old ways."
"You!" Draco tried to retort, his neck stiff, but then he shrunk back dejectedly.
"What do you mean, 'what do you mean, 'what do you mean'?" Harry snorted. "Look at yourself, what kind of pathetic behavior is this? You should act like a man, stand up! If you like her, you should be brave enough to make it clear. You've already found out that she and Dean Thomas broke up, isn't this your chance to step in? What if Dean Thomas gets back together with her? I wonder who will be the one getting anxious and upset then—you don't want to see the woman you like being held and kissed by someone else, do you?"
Upon hearing Harry's words, Draco couldn't help but conjure up that image in his mind.
As he thought about it, he felt his fist harden, and he really wanted to point his wand at Thomas's face and cast some terrible curse on him!
