"What time is it?" Harry sat up and yawned.
"We're going to sit in on Pabbie's class today, so hurry up." Cassandra turned around. "Breakfast is on the table. We'll leave after we eat."
After washing up, Harry walked over to the table. There were fried eggs and toast on the plate, along with a small bowl of sliced fruit.
He sat down and ate a few bites. Cassandra had already gathered the lesson plans and books from the table and was checking what she had packed in her bag.
A water flask, a blank notebook, and two Quills.
"You even brought a notebook?"
"In case I see something worth writing down." She fastened her bag. "And I've never seen Pabbie's teaching style before. There might be details worth noting."
After finishing breakfast, Harry cleared away and washed the dishes, then put on his coat and walked to the door.
Cassandra was already waiting for him in the corridor. Morning light streamed in through the window at the far end, casting a warm patch of light over her shoulders.
He closed the door and caught up with her. The two of them walked side by side down the corridor toward the other side of the castle.
The Care of Magical Creatures classroom was on the west side of the castle. From the tower, they had to cross roughly half the castle to get there.
In the Entrance hall they passed along the way, several early-rising younger students were heading toward the Great Hall. Cassandra walked beside him.
They arrived at an archway on the castle's west side. Around a dozen students were already standing on the terrace outside, chatting in small groups.
