Crying? Crying Counts as Time Too! (Third Update)
Harry thought that women were the most difficult thing to understand in the world—and Cassandra was even more difficult than the average woman.
But he didn't know why, but Pabbie was the one who restrained Cassandra the most, and not only Pabbie, but even Veratia understood Cassandra very well.
However, neither of them would tell him the secret, so he didn't know how to communicate with Cassandra.
"Your suggestion is good, Pabbie," Harry said. "I think I should go to the Malfoy family and ask if they have any Basilisk Fang —if they do, I can buy some."
"Or the shops in Knockturn Alley," Pabbie added. "I remember Borgin and Burkes sold these kinds of contraband, didn't it? I think he'd have a way with them."
"It's hard to say, Mr. Borgin isn't omnipotent either." As Harry spoke, he felt Pabbie lean forward slightly.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
Pabbie raised her head and said cheerfully, "Head down, eating grass."
Harry:...
Oh well, what can she do? She's Unicorn now.
"Don't worry, Pabbie," Harry said sadly, "When Veratia comes back, she'll definitely find a way to make you human again."
"Hehe, really?" Pabbie jumped up and down happily, then said, "Actually, it's pretty good this way—look, the Magical Creatures are all very friendly to me, and you know I love them the most."
Seeing that Harry was about to say something, Pabbie quickly interrupted him.
"More than that, I think you should hurry up and think of a way to rescue Veratia— " she chuckled twice, "While I'm carefree in the Forbidden Forest with Magical Creatures, she's been trapped alone in Slytherin's Study for over a hundred years!"
"Yes, you're right, Pabbie." Harry reached out and ruffled Pabbie's mane.
Pabbie let out two happy whistles, carried Harry around the Forbidden Forest twice, and then dropped him off at the Black Lake.
Hermione was lying sprawled on the ground, while Ron was skipping stones across the water.
"Hi, Hermione, Ron." Harry jumped off the Unicorn and greeted his two friends with a smile.
Hermione tilted her head and clicked her tongue.
She really wanted to ride Unicorn...
But she also knew that Unicorn were not horses. Even though they looked very much like horses, if you treated them like ordinary horses, you would be in trouble.
Someone once tried to ride Unicorn, but unfortunately, he ended up with a transparent hole in his chest.
Only those specially recognized by the Unicorn can ride them.
"See you tomorrow then." Harry waved to Pabbie.
"Okay, Harry." Pabbie shook her head. "I heard you're going to play in the Quidditch finals? Can I come?"
"Of course, Pabbie," Ron and Hermione said together. "We can make room for you in Gryffindor, and if you'd like, we can make you Gryffindor Unicorn!"
"Thank you for your kindness, but I'm actually a Hufflepuff," the Unicorn said with a smile, her eyes crinkling. "But you're welcome to visit Gryffindor, though."
"Yay!" the two little ones cheered together.
At noon the next day, Pabbie arrived at the Quidditch arena.
The professors gave a warm welcome to the Unicorn that had suddenly appeared as a guest at the school.
It's Merlin's blessing that such a holy and noble creature could be a guest at Hogwarts!
Pabbie declined the professors' invitations and followed Hermione and Ron to the Gryffindor stands, where she sat in Harry's original spot.
This match is the Quidditch Grand Final of this school year: Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw.
Madam Hooch, sitting on a broom, blew the whistle to start the game.
Harry caught the Golden Snitch in just three seconds, setting a new record for the fastest completion of a game in the history of Hogwarts.
He also earned a nickname – the Fastest Man.
The nickname was given to him by the Weasley twins. The two boys probably didn't mean anything by it, but Harry just couldn't shake the feeling that it was a bit off.
Wood, the captain of Gryffindor, beamed with joy. Winning the Quidditch Championship was his biggest dream since entering the school.
Now, thanks to everyone's joint efforts—and of course, the Three-Second Man's killer shot—we have achieved our goal.
Harry felt a bit of despair. He never expected that the worst nickname-giver in the school wasn't the Weasley twins, Professor Snape, or Draco Malfoy.
Instead, it was the captain in front of him, Oliver Wood.
"No, I don't want to be Three-Second Man!" Harry cried out in despair.
But it was no use; he was lifted up by his enthusiastic Gryffindor classmates and tossed around in the air.
Fortunately, his protest was effective; the title was not retained for long before it was forcefully and ruthlessly rejected.
Very bad nickname, love comes from Professor McGonagall.
Pabbie had left sometime earlier, and Harry searched everywhere but couldn't find him, so he had to give up on the idea.
After celebrating with his Gryffindor classmates, Harry went to the Great Hall.
Miss Farley was already waiting for him at the door, and when she saw Harry arrive, she quickly went to greet him.
"Hello, Gemma." Harry nodded to her. "Could you please call Draco for me? I need to talk to him about something... Same old spot, the abandoned classroom on the second floor."
"Okay." Gemma bowed slightly and turned to leave.
Harry also arrived at the abandoned classroom on the second floor.
A short while later, Draco Malfoy arrived at the door.
To be honest, Draco has been in a bad mood lately.
On the one hand, Harry's success made him feel uncomfortable, not out of jealousy, but simply because he was annoyed by Harry's success.
If you ask why he dislikes Harry, it's because Harry rejected his invitation to be friends.
Saint Potter!
On the other hand, it was because Miss Merope had always been by his side, had disappeared.
On the very day Professor Quirrell was plotting his subversion, Draco could only vaguely recall bringing his Notebook to the fourth floor, but he couldn't remember what happened afterward.
Without Miss Merope, not only was Draco miserable, but almost half of the Slytherin were going crazy.
Miss Merope is not only beautiful, but also exceptionally gentle and understanding. Most importantly, she is incredibly skilled in Charms, able to solve any problem with ease and readily employing various Charms tricks.
Slytherin have always admired the strong, and this was true a hundred years ago. Even though most of the current Slytherin are children of death row inmates, it cannot conceal their inherent pursuit and reverence for power.
Strength and glory!
More than one person came to Draco, believing that he had hidden Miss Merope's Notebook.
But Draco also had his own unspoken difficulties. You want to ask where Miss Merope is? I want to ask that too.
Don't be fooled by the fact that the Malfoy family is Pure-blood families; which Slytherin family isn't Pure-blood?
The Malfoy family were indeed powerful in the past, but you know that was then.
This is not the 19th century, when Septimus Malfoy was Shadow Minister; the Malfoy family's glory days are long gone.
Draco had no choice but to open his dormitory for a search. When they found that the notebook was indeed not there, the Slytherin students had no choice but to give up.
He was also unhappy, not only because of the search by this group of people, but also because of Miss Merope's sudden disappearance.
However... fortunately, the power was still preserved.
Just as he was feeling annoyed, Miss Farley found him and said that Potter from Gryffindor was waiting for him in the abandoned classroom on the second floor.
Draco, of course, would not let go of such a good opportunity for revenge. Unable to contain his excitement, he immediately set off, abandoning his half-eaten meal, and rushed upstairs without stopping.
The moment Draco saw Harry, he revealed a sinister and confident smile.
"Well, well, Potter!" Draco emerged from behind the door. "If I were you, I wouldn't meet with me alone in a place like this—don't worry, I'll spare your life so you can acknowledge him as the Savior in front of the whole school..."
"Listen to me, Malfoy," Harry interrupted Draco's trash talk, "I'm asking you, what's the deal with that Notebook that's been circulating in Slytherin!"
"You don't deserve to know!" Draco's eyebrows twitched twice as he pulled out his wand. "All you need to know is that you, Saint Potter, are about to be defeated by me!"
Harry sighed.
Can't we just communicate properly?
He didn't even draw his wand; he simply snapped his fingers, and a ring of Azure flame enveloped them both.
Then, flames swept out, and a Azure flame lion leaped out of the blue flames, silently roaring at Draco.
Draco opened his mouth, unsure of what spell to cast in the face of such a fiery lion.
He wasn't Hermione, after all, and didn't have much ambition for studying.
Thus, Draco could only cast several Charms in vain, but they had no effect whatsoever on the Flame Lion.
The fiery lion drew ever closer, forcing Draco back into a corner until he plopped down on a stool.
"You... this is..." Draco's voice was hoarse. "Impossible! Absolutely impossible! Miss Merope gave me so much power, how... why have you become so strong?!"
While gaining power was certainly exciting, Potter's growing strength inevitably filled him with despair.
Harry really wanted to laugh.
Why did I become stronger?
I absorbed the Philosopher's Stone, bro, what about you?
However, Harry breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the name Merope.
"Tell me about your Miss Merope," he asked casually, leaning back on the table.
"No! I will never tell you anything!" Draco said, his neck stiff. "Never!"
Seeing that he was not cooperating, Harry took out his wand from his pocket.
"What... what are you going to do?" Draco asked in fear.
Harry had no intention of wasting words. He looked directly into Draco's terrified eyes and began to chant the spell.
"Legilimency!"
Draco suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head, and memories surged forth like a tidal wave.
Miss Merope granted him power, taught him Charms, and he circulated the Notebook in the Slytherin Common Room ...
Malfoy Manor, conversations with Mom and Dad, discovering Miss Merope's Notebook...
Finally, the scene freezes on Draco frantically searching through Miss Merope's Notebook in the dormitory.
"A little sad?" Harry's voice came from behind Draco.
Draco then came to his senses. He wasn't looking through his notes; instead, he was under Potter' control.
"This is my privacy!" Draco gasped.
"It wasn't about me." Harry smirked. "Malfoy, you should thank me, because you seem to have been fooled."
"I was tricked?" Draco was still not calm.
Harry sighed helplessly. "That Notebook, are you stupid? Think about your Malfoy family, your grandfather, your father, and you, aren't you all light blond hair? I've seen pictures of Mr. Malfoy... he also has light blond hair. How could there be a black-haired member in your family? And with red eyes at that?"
"Impossible!" Draco simply didn't believe Harry. "Absolutely impossible! Miss Merope wouldn't lie to me! Never!"
Harry reluctantly pulled Cassandra's Notebook from his pocket.
"Look, this is Cassandra Malfoy's Notebook. Yours is a fake."
"You... how do you know Cassandra?" Draco asked in alarm.
When Draco mentioned Cassandra, Harry flicked his wand.
"No, please don't use that Charms..." Draco leaned back, tears welling up in his eyes. "What do you want to know? I'll tell you—"
"Tell me about Cassandra," Harry said, sitting back down in his chair and casually crossing his legs.
"Why... why did you ask her?" Draco sobbed, the splitting headache he had just experienced had left him feeling utterly hopeless.
Harry didn't say anything, but waved his wand and conjured an alarm clock.
He fiddled with the time, set it to five minutes, and then slammed the alarm clock down on the table.
"I'll give you five minutes, or I'll use Legilimency," Harry warned him.
"Huh? I..." Draco couldn't hold back and started sobbing again.
Even though he came from a prestigious family, he was still a twelve-year-old child.
Draco, who grew up in Greenhouse, pampered and adored by others, had never experienced such treatment before.
"Crying?" Harry sneered. "Crying counts as time too!"
Draco hiccuped.
I said—
Draco began to tell Harry everything he had heard from Lucius, like pouring beans from a bamboo tube.
"Etc!"
Harry's heart skipped a beat. "You mean... Cassandra stole your family's heirloom and disappeared after that?"
"Yes... yes."
Draco nodded hastily. He looked up and secretly glanced at Harry, only to find that Harry's expression was uncertain, as if he cared a lot about Cassandra, the ancestor of the Malfoy family.
"You... seem quite concerned about my ancestors?" Draco asked with a slightly ingratiating tone.
