Persuasion

In the forest on the other side of the Valley of the End, Qing Yan and Yuexi hid as they waited for Ming Jing's intelligence. Before long, they heard sounds coming from the Valley of the End. Neither of them moved, however, because they trusted Ming Jing's strength.

Sure enough, a moment later, a streak of silver light flew over from the direction of the Valley of the End. Yuexi quickly caught it and pressed it to her forehead.

After waiting a moment, Qing Yan asked, "Where?"

"The Land of Hot Water." Yuexi frowned.

"It seems their goal was to lure the Young Master away." Qing Yan sighed and asked, "What do we do now?"

According to the original plan, the two of them were supposed to rescue Konan. But now they had discovered that she was so far away, practically on the other side of the Land of Fire. It would take at least four days to get there, and factoring in the return trip and any unforeseen trouble, it would take around ten days.

"We'll proceed according to the original plan!" Yuexi said. "Since the Young Master sent us the intelligence, he wants us to do this. To be safe, bring Chief Yagyu along as well."

"Mm, the two of us lack the ability to kill in a single strike. Chief Yagyu can make up for that somewhat." Qing Yan nodded, agreeing with Yuexi. After reaching a decision, the two no longer hesitated and swiftly left the Valley of the End.

Within Konoha, at the Kurama Clan compound, Koji Kurama looked somewhat surprised at Shikamaru, Sakura, and Naruto entering alongside Hinata.

"Clan Head Kurama, the village is facing a crisis. Please have the Kurama Clan help us!" Naruto immediately said upon seeing Koji Kurama.

Koji Kurama frowned.
