Failure?

Ming Jing drifted into the air and casually flung out dozens of Wind Blades, aiding a nearby squad of rank-and-file ninja.

After landing, Ming Jing said to Yuexi beside him, "This situation doesn't look good! We came in to fight the Ten-Tails, but now we've been tied down by these monsters and can't advance or retreat."

"It's a little too far away. Jumping alone probably won't get us close enough. Even with ninjutsu, only a very small number of Wind Release techniques and the Raikage could hit it!" Yuexi estimated the distance between herself and the Ten-Tails and spoke with some difficulty.

"Let's watch for now. This is the stage for those three youngsters." Ming Jing looked toward Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Yuexi was somewhat puzzled but did not ask further.

Before long, a great deal of white mist appeared around Team 7. When the mist dispersed, the three great Summoning Beasts—a giant snake, a toad, and a slug—appeared on the battlefield.

"Um... could that be Gama Kichi?" Ming Jing looked at the huge toad beneath Naruto's feet, a cigarette butt dangling from its mouth, and said in surprise, "It's only been a little while, and Gama Kichi has grown this big already!"

"Maybe toads have a different growth cycle from humans!" Yuexi guessed.

"Probably." Ming Jing nodded. He watched Sasuke control the enormous Aoda as it burrowed into the monster horde, while Sakura directed Katsuyu to split apart. She supplied Chakra so that the Slug Clones could treat the wounded. Naruto pointed forward, and Gama Kichi kicked off with both legs. Its enormous body soared into the sky, and the gusts it stirred up forced everyone to shut their eyes against the wind.

Seeing Gama Kichi bounding toward them, the monsters on the ground raised their spears and hurled
