Facing Darkness
Planet Dagobah was shrouded in mist year-round, filled with toxic miasma and bottomless swamps.
Its climate was harsh, its resources scarce, and its location remote. It held no strategic value whatsoever. Unless someone got lost, no one would ever come here.
The main reason this planet even had a name was that its temperature range remained habitable, and it possessed a rich ecosystem. Perhaps someday, someone might lose their mind and come here to develop it.
But very few people knew that this planet contained one of the greatest sources of darkness in the Milky Way Galaxy.
Planet Dagobah itself was the place with the purest Force in the galaxy—not light, nor dark, merely pure. The Force flowed abundantly here, creating the planet's bizarre and complex ecosystem.
On Planet Dagobah stood a massive cave. Thousands of years ago, a Dark Side user had been slain here by a Jedi Knight, creating this land of darkness.
In truth, that Dark Side user from the Bpfasshi sect had not been particularly powerful. He did not even deserve a name. Yet the place where he died was where all darkness on Planet Dagobah converged.
In Blue Star terms, it was a place of extreme yin.
After that Dark Side user died, his Dark Side Force was absorbed by the environment. Because of the planet's excessively pure Force environment and abundant Force currents, the cave was gradually infected by the Dark Side. Over thousands of years, incomparably profound darkness had gathered here.
During the Clone Wars, Darth Malthael had come to Planet Dagobah to temper his Dark Side Force. Here, he discovered that the planet's Dark Cave seemed to possess a power capable of reaching into the depths of one's heart, even one's soul. Within that cave, he saw another version of
