• Gideon Tarkin divided his forces between Charos IV and Saleucami, where General Grievous ambushed his flagship and destroyed the Twelfth Army’s command, and Lin Nanyi then rallied the Kingdom of Dawn fleet and helped rout the Imperial forces.
• Governor Seben took control of the Twelfth Army as the Empire abandoned its eastern defenses, while Semirian forces conquered Jabiim and General Kalani organized the Eastern Territory into sectors to locate Rebel bases.
• General Kalani and General Grievous launched Operation Spring Dawn and destroyed the known Rebel bases, prompting Fulcrum to warn Kanan Jarrus that Ghost Squad was the next target and provide an escape route from Lothal.
• The Priestess killed Zeb and fatally wounded Kanan during the attack on Ghost Squad, while Taron Malicos assassinated General Kalani before Kalani’s ODIN mech pursued him through Lothal City.

• Darth Malthael recognized that his growing Dark Side Force threatened his control, traveled to Dagobah to recover, and entered the Dark Cave, where its whispers questioned his memories and reality.

The Kingdom of Dawn seized Scipio and shattered the Empire’s financial system, while currency wars and political defections spread through the galaxy. Darth Malthael rebuilt himself as Sith Emperor and set out to claim the Galactic Empire’s throne as Tang Xiao ordered an attack on Coruscant.

• Darth Malthael fought Master Yoda in the Dark Reaper’s cave, killed him, and absorbed vast Dark Side power before destroying the Reaper and later seeking answers on Korriban.
• Oswald Tessik attacked Bilbrin while the Vasari fleet used a secret route to strike Scipio, defeating its defenders and capturing its cities and vaults.
• The Empire’s attempt to retake Scipio caused heavy casualties, while its financial collapse spread after it froze bonds and disrupted banking, production, and military pay.
• Core Worlds nobles backed the Rebel Alliance as a political alternative, while Sanya Tagge manipulated her family into accepting Currency Number Four and integrating with the Kingdom of Dawn.
• As the Empire fractured, Palpatine imposed loyalty inspections and appointed Thrawn Imperial Marshal, while Thrawn warned that an assault on Coruscant would be strategically disastrous.
• After celebrating the Empire’s weakened position, Tang Xiao ordered the Kingdom of Dawn to attack Coruscant immediately.
• Darth Malthael released the Sith spirits from the Soul Reaper Sword, sealed Sith knowledge in the Dark Book, and reformed in the Son’s body as the spirits recognized him as Sith Emperor.

The Kingdom of Dawn launched a massive assault on Coruscant, using infiltration, sabotage, and a ground invasion to break the planet’s defenses while its fleet battled the Empire. Darth Malthael confronted Darth Sidious as Imperial reinforcements and Darth Vader’s hidden Death Fleet turned the space battle into a desperate struggle.

• The Kingdom of Dawn assembled its scattered fleets and struck Coruscant, where concealed orbital cannons and the Sky Dome System initially helped the Empire withstand the assault.
• Matt Horner’s fleet fought Danita Pita and Oswald Tessik’s forces while Sanya-Tagge smuggled sabotaged cargo onto Coruscant and uprisings spread across the planet.
• The Guardian breached Coruscant’s planetary shield, allowing Kingdom of Dawn transports and fighters to descend as Priestess and Darth Sidious fought inside the Imperial Palace.

• Matt Hona counterattacked as the Emissary charged its Doomsday Weapon at an Executor, while Vader evaded the fighting and entered Coruscant.

Darth Malthael founded the Fourth Empire after killing Darth Sidious, and Tang Xiao crowned himself Emperor amid the battle for Coruscant. The new empire endured devastating losses and internal unrest, then prepared to face Tarkin’s Death Star as it moved toward Kira planet.
