Skrand Sharp-Bick delayed the Death Star while Zangakkar recovered Galen Erso and its hidden weakness, allowing Darth Malthael to destroy it during the attack on Kira. The Fourth Empire saved Kira from the wreckage and began peace talks with the Galactic Empire, with responsibility for the war and trade concessions still disputed.

• Skrand Sharp-Bick delayed the Death Star with drone attacks and hidden Hyperspace Inhibitors, but Wilhuff Tarkin destroyed Chardaan Planet and its 1.6 billion inhabitants.
• Zangakkar obtained the Death Star’s weakness and schematics from Galen Erso and escaped Scarif with him.
• Skrand Sharp-Bick enabled the evacuation of more than twenty million people from Paks Planet before Wilhuff Tarkin destroyed it and advanced toward Kira.

• Darth Malthael cleared wreckage from the exhaust port and fired a Proton Torpedo that destroyed the Death Star and killed Wilhuff Tarkin while Kira’s planetary shield resisted the superlaser.
• Skrand Sharp-Bick ordered interception of the Death Star’s debris, and the Fourth Empire preserved Kira while arranging salvage and reconstruction.
• The Fourth Empire accepted peace talks and installed the Death Star’s superlaser wreckage at the reconstructed impact site as the negotiations’ backdrop.
• Harry Seldon secured Vandelron’s agreement to apologies, refugee reconstruction funding, and reopening the Hydian Way, but Vandelron resisted accepting responsibility for the war and further trade concessions.
