Background / History

The Eternal Clan controlled the higher-dimensional Eternal Myriad Universes and treated lower-dimensional Great Universes as fiefs. The First Sequence Ring Chain, including the Primordial Beginning, was granted to Emperor Yin as a fief; an Eternal Seal of Eternal Runes enclosed the Primordial Beginning's material boundary. 1480 1502

Their influence restricted the development of lower-dimensional beings. Li Qingyun inferred that the clan did not permit inhabitants of the First Sequence Ring Chain to attain the Supreme Being or Eternal Life realms after the Primordial Chaos Era. 1511

The clan first directly intervened around the collapsing Primordial Beginning when two Eternal beings arrived aboard a resplendent ship, retrieved He Jiang and Li Xuanji, scanned the doomed universe, and departed. 1557
