Guilliman stared at Mortarion in a slight daze, unable to understand how Mortarion had arrived at that conclusion.
In Guilliman's view, the numbers shown by those six dice could be pieced together into hundreds, if not thousands, of different interpretations.
Mortarion had interpreted nine, seven, six, nine, six, ∞ as Magnus being cast into the Well of Eternity by Tzeentch and molded into some kind of weapon to attack Guilliman.
Then Guilliman could also interpret nine as Tzeentch, seven as Nurgle, and nine, seven, six, nine as Tzeentch and Nurgle sixty-nining.

Though he felt that Mortarion was forcing the interpretation, Guilliman did not dare slacken his actions.
Numerology might have been nonsense, but Guilliman had personally verified its effects.
Guilliman swiftly issued orders to the fleet through communications, telling them to prepare for battle.

"Too late." So spoke the Lord of Clouds. Guilliman actually detected a trace of horror on Mortarion's face.
It was as if this master of numerology had seen something utterly terrifying.
Wailing.
The Glory of Macragge began to wail.
The servitors connected to the ship began convulsing and screaming uncontrollably. Communications descended into chaos, and disordered wails, shrieks, and even more howls capable of tearing apart mortal minds poured from them.
Guilliman heard some warped voices, as though they came from a far more distant world.
"This is a warning. The rebellion from Ultramar has already occurred. Guilliman has betrayed The Emperor." Guilliman recognized the voice. It belonged to his son, Hill.
"Blood! Blood! Blood! Fresh blood! The Blood Angels are here!! The Ghouls swarm is here!!" There were
