Background / History

Chang Xi was the low-profile Moon Goddess and Taiyin Master born from the Moon Star's origin. Though less famous than the Solar Supremes Di Jun and Donghuang Taiyi, even Quasi-Saint Giants did not underestimate her foundation. Rejecting the Moon Star's influence and her destined connection to Di Jun, she self-destructed and reincarnated into the Human Race. 124

Her reincarnated form was born in the Yunshui Tribe. Gu Xi recognized her extraordinary origin, named her Chang'e, and accepted her as his chief disciple. He sealed the Great Yin-Yang Art and his comprehension of the Great Dao of Yin Yang into her mind so she could begin cultivating the Innate Yin Yang Great Dao from childhood. 131

After Chang'e turned six, Gu Xi brought her to Penglai Palace for direct instruction. He deliberately withheld her Golden Immortal breakthrough until she possessed a sufficiently deep understanding of Yin Yang and could condense a suitable Dao Seed. 134

Chang'e eventually recovered and integrated her former Taiyin cultivation rather than inheriting it wholesale, transforming it bit by bit into Innate Yin Yang Divine Power. This allowed her new path to exceed the potential of her previous life. 222

During the war against the Mystic Gate, she repeatedly fought Saint Incarnations and broke through to Quasi-Saint Great Perfection. She later helped spread basic cultivation methods in other worlds and became one of the Human Dao Sacred Court's foremost powerhouses. 264 283

Appearance

Chang'e is described as a woman of peerless beauty with a pure, noble temperament compared to a bright moon. Even when her face is hidden by a veil, her beauty remains apparent. 134

  • Clear black-and-white eyes as an infant. 131
  • Elegant, ethereal presence befitting the reincarnation of the Moon Goddess. 134
  • Her appearance as a Divine Sense avatar can manifest physically in other worlds. 347

Personality

Chang'e is kind-hearted, protective, and deeply invested in the people she accepts as family. She treats Little Stone as a younger brother, readily interrupts her own cultivation or crosses worlds through Divine Sense to assist him. Her fear of failing to protect him ultimately drives her to risk her life against ten Dark Saints. 357 473

Despite her immense strength, she is playful and mischievous. She enjoys teasing Little Stone, casually gossips about Gu Xi, and is comfortable challenging her master's decisions when she believes Little Stone is being pushed too hard. 347 416 460

Her outward calm conceals profound emotional vulnerability. Having survived a dangerous Heavenly Court where powerful figures coveted her, she learned to trust almost no one. Little Stone became the person closest to her heart, while her dreamscape later reveals an unspoken desire for an ordinary life with Gu Xi and Little Stone. 480 486 487

  • Can maintain time control for a day and night without meaningful energy loss. 412
  • Her temporal power demonstrated the overwhelming gap between her Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm and Little Stone's then-current realm. 412

Law of Life

Chang'e cultivated the Life Law as a second major Dao and eventually comprehended it to perfection. 471 478

  • Her Life Law can regenerate injuries that would otherwise be fatal. 473
  • She created an undetectable Life Law Domain around the Dark Saints. 475
  • Perfected the Life Law after seeing Little Stone endangered by millions of demonic beasts. 478
  • Her perfected Life Law manifests through Lotus Step by Step, with lotuses blooming under her feet. 479

Law of Space

Chang'e combines the Law of Space with her other Laws to multiply her combat power. 473

  • Teleports directly behind opponents. 473
  • Uses spatial power offensively in conjunction with the Life Law. 473
  • Her dual-Law combat strength is described as comparable to several ordinary Saints fighting at once. 473

Dark Cultivation System

Chang'e began cultivating the Dark Cultivation System by absorbing Dark Saint Spirits, treating them as cultivation resources rather than ordinary threats. 465

  • The system allows control over dark power without necessarily becoming a Dark Being. 462
  • Her Dark Law later conflicted with her Life Law after grief and killing intent destabilized her state of mind. 479 480
  • The conflict endangered her life because the two opposing Laws could battle within her body. 480

Physical Cultivation

Chang'e cultivated the Thirteen Realms of the Physical Body to its eleventh realm, the Immortal Realm. 241

  • Her physical strength was second only to Gu Xi's among the Human Race. 241
  • Her physical cultivation supplements her Law-based combat rather than replacing it. 241 473
