Background
Gu Xi initially relies on Heavenly Dao protection and Heavenly Punishment to survive confrontations far beyond his apparent cultivation. On Buzhou Mountain, he provokes Golden Immortal-level Gods and Demons into attacking him, causing Heavenly Punishment to kill them and leaving their Magic Treasures behind. These incidents earn him the feared title God of Misfortune. 3 4
After Nuwa creates the Human Race and becomes a Saint, Gu Xi receives 20% of the Merit of Creating Humans and becomes the Human Race’s Holy Father. He then guides the newborn humans across the wildernesses, teaching hunting, gathering, medicine, fire use, weaving, and house-building. 8 12
Gu Xi establishes several systems that reshape the Primordial Era: the Four Seasons and Twenty-Four Solar Terms, the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, the Martial Way, the Earth Immortal path, and the Six Paths of Reincarnation. These achievements repeatedly bring vast Merit, Divine Positions, and authority over fundamental aspects of the world. 13 40 80 120 169
He later develops the Human Dao Sacred Court into a vast organization spanning Sky, Earth, and Nether God Systems. Its forces include Human Race cultivators, Star Gods, Four Seas Gods and Demons, Ghosts and Deities, and ancient powers such as Beast Emperor Shen Ni and Ancestor Yin Yang. 56 79 102 234
Personality
Gu Xi is audacious, calculating, and highly confident. He regularly turns hostile encounters into opportunities for Merit, allies, Divine Positions, or Magic Treasures, including converting enemies through the Great Pervasion Art and extracting gifts from the Six Sages during their visit to the Netherworld. 14 61 173
Despite his opportunism, he consistently acts to strengthen the Human Race. He teaches mortals survival skills, creates a Martial Way suited to them after millions die in a battle’s aftermath, and establishes systems intended to secure humanity’s long-term independence and prosperity. 12 40 56 235
He is cautious about exposing his full strength, accumulating hidden trump cards and developing the Human Dao Sacred Court quietly. However, he is openly defiant when challenged, especially by figures who seek to exploit the Human Race or seize his Divine Positions. 132 148 156
“Don’t measure me by your standards. For me, nothing is impossible!” 148
“This era shall be mine to command!” 103
