Di Jun is the Solar Supreme born from the Sun Star and the Yao Race's Heavenly Court Emperor. His authority, talent, and immense Destiny/Fortune make him one of the central figures of the Witch–Demon Calamity. He is Donghuang Taiyi's brother and fellow ruler of the Yao Race. 91 194 197

As one of the two Solar Supremes and a leader of the Star God lineage, Di Jun commands the allegiance of many Star Gods. The Star Gods are the true foundation of his power, preceding even the ordinary gods of the Yao Race Heavenly Court in importance. 59

Di Jun cultivated the domineering and destructive aspects of the Primordial Fire Element Great Dao. This placed him in Dao Contention with Donghuang Taiyi, East King Duke, Zhu Rong, and other fire-path cultivators, though he and Donghuang Taiyi possessed a superior affinity due to their origins in the Sun Star. 63 70

Great Sun Bathes East Sea Plan

As Yao Emperor, Di Jun initiates a plan to descend the Sun Star upon the East Sea. He frames the assault as a meritorious act for heaven and earth while using it to annihilate East King Duke and the Purple Mansion Immortal Court. 91 92

The disaster causes catastrophic waves, fires, and karmic sin. Di Jun later relocates the Sun Star to Tang Valley and suppresses its poisonous fire, gaining enormous Merit and approaching the Quasi-Saint limit. 93

Conflict over the Taiyin Master

After Chang Xi reincarnates into the Human Race, Gu Xi becomes the new Taiyin Master. Di Jun attacks him in rage, but Gu Xi freezes and shatters his Golden Crow Divine Wings with Lunar Divine Power. 124 127

Di Jun subsequently unleashes Ten Suns Burn the World against Gu Xi. Their confrontation ends without a decisive victor after Wang Shu intervenes; Di Jun withdraws to the Yao Race Heavenly Court out of fear of her. 128 129

Witch–Demon Grand War

He touches Sub-Saint power and challenges the Twelve Ancestral Witches directly. Though he withstands their formation's opening attack, its full counterattack gravely injures him, requiring Donghuang Taiyi's Grand Array of the Myriad Stars to shield him. 197 198

After the Twelve Ancestral Witches condense a Pangu phantom, Di Jun detonates himself together with the Yao Race Heavenly Court's Destiny/Fortune. The blast destroys the Witch–Demon Battlefield, kills eight Ancestral Witches, and results in his own death. Legacy

Di Jun's death leaves the Sun Palace lineage without its original leaders. With Gu Xi's support, Dao Lord Jinyan later condenses Solar Supreme Authority and succeeds Di Jun and Donghuang Taiyi as the new Solar Supreme. 229 230
