Loki: I'm Practically the God of Stories
When Ben returned to Sakaar, he found only the lifeless corpse of the Gladiator.
His once strong body was now shriveled up like a thousand-year-old mummy, and his armor was completely ill-fitting, like a girl who was only A-grade trying to wear a D-grade dress—it looked too loose.
"It looks like it's been completely drained."
Eunice also came to Sakaar with Ben. Seeing the Gladiator's miserable state, she couldn't help but reach out and place her hand on his body. She quickly concluded that the Gladiator's life energy seemed to have been absorbed.
She is an artificial human and has an extremely keen sense of life.
"Absorbing other people's Superpowers does sound like something Vilgax would do." Ben nodded in agreement after hearing Eunice's guess.
Caiera frowned slightly, somewhat surprised. "Absorbing someone else's power... is that even possible?"
"It's nothing to Vilgax," Ben said, without elaborating.
In the animated series, Vilgax absorbed the powers of ten World Guardians, including the leader of the Galactic Enforcers, ultimately transforming himself into a warrior with no weaknesses, and once again invading Earth.
However, the World Guardians in the Ben 10 universe aren't very impressive; even after absorbing those Superpowers, Vilgax is still no match for Ben Tennyson.
But in this Marvel Universe, everything is clearly very different.
At his peak in Gladiator, he was already comparable to Thor. Combined with Vilgax's own power, given time, he could become a new Thanos, or even more dangerous.
"Bill, besides the Gladiator's corpse, was there anything else we found?" Ben asked, somewhat puzzled. "Logically speaking, with Vilgax's strength, he probably wouldn't be able to defeat Gladiator Gladiator, let alone seize his power. Could it be that this guy has found a new patron?"
Bant himself certified Gladiator 'Ben strength. Although he was someone who was instantly killed by the Ultimate Gravattack, the fact that he was worthy of Ben bringing out the Gravattack, which was fused with the power of Living Planet, was enough to prove his ability.
Ben was unaware that Vilgax had already absorbed Thanos's energy, surpassing Thanos, and had now even absorbed the power of Laufey, the Frost Giant.
He reviewed Vilgax's dark history and discovered that this cosmic overlord was actually a bit like Lu Bu, who liked to claim fathers everywhere. He had previously become cannon fodder in Thanos's hands and had also served as a lackey of the Dagon in the animated series.
"Judging from the footage recorded in the wreckage, the attacker should have been a lone individual." Bill took out the Galactic Plumbers Badge and pressed it, projecting the footage from the spaceship onto everyone's screen.
He continued, "After the Galactic Conference ended, we parted ways, and unexpectedly, not long after, we received a distress signal from the Shi'ar Empire warship... By the time we arrived, the warship was completely destroyed..."
The scene didn't show much; Vilgax's appearance was too sudden. He looked disheartened and lost confidence after losing the Gladiator to Ben. Immediately afterward, the spaceship was attacked by artillery fire.
The next moment, Vilgax charged directly into space with his physical body, crashing through the spaceship like an Xing Yi.
The soldiers of the Shi'ar Empire tried to stop him, but they were no match for him and quickly found themselves in a disadvantageous position. Even the Gladiator himself was soon defeated, and was lifted high by the towering Vilgax, who grabbed him by the throat, as if he were not the strongest warrior of the Shi'ar Empire, but a pitiful chick.
Sizzle--
The video cuts off there, but Ben knows without a doubt what happened next.
What surprised him most was the manner of the attack.
"They lost so decisively?"
Back in the Galactic Federation, even facing a black hole capable of destroying everything, Gladiator still managed to hold out for quite some time. Putting everything else aside, even if Odin wanted to personally lead an expedition against the Shi'ar Empire, surely he wouldn't have been able to eliminate this general so quickly?
"I've heard that Gladiator ability is closely related to his confidence. Perhaps his confidence was completely shattered by you back in the Galactic Federation?" Caiera offered a reasonable explanation. "He was also attacked by Vilgax in a short period of time, so it's very likely that his confidence wavered."
Bill glanced at the Gladiator's corpse and shook his head.
He wasn't denying Caiera's assessment, but he felt that it was truly pathetic that the Gladiator, as the strongest blade in the Shi'ar Empire, possessed such a fragile heart.
A true warrior, no matter how powerful the enemy, should never fall into self-doubt.
"Maybe..." Ben thought about Vilgax's whereabouts. If he continued to let this guy develop, the other party might become a huge threat. However, the universe was too vast, and finding the other party would not be an easy task.
"Send information about Vilgax's appearance to all branches of the Galactic Plumbers that control star systems, and list him as Highest Level Wanted Target. Every Plumbers who encounters him must immediately contact headquarters."
"Every branch of the Galactic Plumbers Association needs to set up its Particle Collider as soon as possible, otherwise the distance will be too great and support will be very troublesome," Ben said after thinking for a moment.
Particle Collider can only reliably open fixed channels when both are turned on simultaneously; otherwise, the process is highly random and it is difficult to accurately determine the location of the particles being transported.
Caiera nodded. "Should we send the message to the Skrull Empire and the Kree Empire?"
The Three Great Empires occupy a much wider area of the universe, and having intelligence on them might increase the chances of finding Vilgax.
"Hmph, if they knew about our feud with Vilgax, it wouldn't be long before we heard that the Skrull Empire or the Kree Empire had been conquered by Vilgax."
Ben never overestimated the bottom line of the Three Great Empires, especially the Skrull and the Kree.
They certainly wouldn't mind having another secret weapon in their hands that could help them fight against the Galactic Plumbers.
Of course, that would be foolish enough to invite trouble.
"Keep a close eye on intelligence from the Knowhere. When will the Shi'ar Empire come to take back their chief regent's body?"
"It will still take some time for the fleet to reach Sakaar," Caiera replied truthfully.
The Ben nodded.
In any case, the Gladiator's body would certainly not remain on Sakaar, and the fate of the Shi'ar Empire after losing the Gladiator was no longer his concern.
If they wish to seek the protection of the Galactic Plumbers and join Galactic Plumbers, Ben would naturally welcome them.
He waved his hand, and several Plumbers came over and took the Gladiator corpse away.
"How is Tony Stark?"
"Ben asked."
He had just returned from the future Primus Planet, and had spent a considerable amount of time in the laboratory beforehand. Without altering human appearance, he had made significant progress in acquiring the Superpowers of Alien Hero.
With Eunice's help, Cross-Species Genetics was extended to extraterrestrial genes, and "reversibility" was achieved based on Connors's experiment showing that he could revert to human form.
The existence of regression may seem like a drawback, but it is actually a form of protection for the user. Otherwise, the continuous accumulation of genes would eventually cause the user's own genes to collapse, ultimately turning them into a monster that resembles Kevin Levin.
Returning to Galactic Plumbers this time is the perfect opportunity to turn experimental data into real experimental results and implant new feature plugins into the Little Broken Watch.
However, it was precisely because of his research that Ben hadn't kept up with Tony Stark's situation for a while.
"He's still at the mine," Caiera said. "Loki was deliberately messing with him, conjuring up a whole bunch of people to toy with him. They shot him with a stun gun the moment they met, then cut off his arm, and now he's whipping him all day long and piercing his collarbone with chains..."
She recounted Tony's experiences during this time.
That's too ruthless!
Ben reasonably suspects that Loki was so ruthless to Tony because Tony Stark disrespectfully categorized him as just another ordinary alien.
"A broken hand is no big deal, a bottle of healing potion will do... but tell Loki to stop causing trouble for Stark here, Odin is looking for him to deal with his brother," Ben said.
Because the Nine Realms are about to be connected, the Dark Elf will make a comeback.
Odin wanted to use the Dark Elf to help his eldest son regain his faith and become the God of Thunder. To do this, he needed to prepare a suitable stage and an experienced actor.
Deceiving his brother, stabbing him a few times, and then faking his death—this is the classic routine of the two brothers. Loki has never failed to fool Thor, because Thor always falls for it.
Ben plans to take advantage of Thor's awakening to fleece him once again.
In fact, the Manna Seed have spread out, forming a huge scale. In particular, the Yggdrasil wave has directly allowed Legerdomain to grow rapidly from a new dimension, as if it accelerated by billions of times in an instant, and solidified its foundation.
Furthermore, with powerful figures like the Ancient One and Odin also wielding Energy of the Universe energy, he could already sense that a true Energy of the Universe life form was about to be born within Legerdomain, and it was very likely that it was only one step away.
Perhaps Thor's awakening can complete the final piece of the puzzle for the birth of the Anodite.
Since Thor is so important, Ben plans to give him some pep talks in the meantime to try and wake him up as soon as possible. But before that, he has to deal with Tony Stark first.
Ben wanted Tony to admit he was inferior to him, and he even planned to record a video and distribute it throughout New York New York so everyone could see him make a fool of himself. But he still hasn't done that.
I happen to be on Sakaar right now, and I absolutely have to get revenge!
Not only do we need to make Tony bow down, we also need to teach him a lesson!
Perfect timing! Let Tony be the test subject for the new feature of the Little Broken Watch.
"Find an opportunity to send him to the Gladiator Arena, and then give him the chance to forge equipment; otherwise, he'll be too hesitant and it won't be as enjoyable to fight."
After Ben finished speaking, he pulled Eunice into the laboratory. Ben gently tapped the surface of the watch a few times with his finger, and suddenly, the watch strap at the bottom of the watch seemed to melt and fall off. Then he took off the watch and placed it on a platform. Several robotic arms gathered around the watch like spider legs.
Eunice tilted her head and asked in surprise, "The watch can be taken off now?"
"It could have been done a long time ago," Ben said.
The technology in the Little Broken Watch is so advanced that even now, Ben hasn't been able to grasp the basics of its technology.
However, he had already mastered the conventional usage methods, including voice control mode, switching at any time, and various commands, even the self-destruct command.
"Let's begin."
He flexed his wrist, and the robotic arm, under his and Eunice's control, opened the watch's wireless receiver, which was the watch's outer casing.
Immediately afterwards, the watch movement was also gripped by a robotic arm and lifted up.
Eunice transferred it to the test bench, and then various circuits began to connect to the watch movement. Eunice even directly synchronized her ritual with the watch's smart program to ensure that the watch itself would not malfunction after the program was implanted.
Mining site.
Somewhat sleepy, Loki jumped up excitedly upon receiving Caiera's order, knocking over the fruit on the table.
"What?"
"Go after my brother?!"
"If you say that, I'm no longer sleepy!"
He rubbed his hands together, looking blissfully happy, even wondering if he was hallucinating from carving too many Alpha Rune recently.
Ordered by my father to play a trick on Thor?
Is there really such a good thing in the world?
Since his grand coronation, Loki has never returned to Asgard.
There was no other reason than that he was afraid Odin would hit him on the butt with the Gungnir.
"It seems I won't just avoid getting beaten up, I might even find the time to stab Thor a few more times."
Loki was so excited that his smile was harder to suppress than an AK.
My own father is the best. He knew his work on Sakaar was too boring, so he found something fun for him.
"So it's Dark Elf..." Loki sat down with a chuckle, suddenly becoming incredibly energetic.
It's worth noting that ever since Thor lost his divine powers and started to give up, he hasn't even been as enthusiastic about mocking Thor anymore.
Every time he tried to show off in front of Thor, Thor would just say, "Thank goodness I have you. You're such a good brother. With you in Asgard, I'm at ease..." followed by a greasy Thor- style smile.
Loki, who originally wanted to annoy Thor, not only failed to do so, but ended up being annoyed by Thor himself.
Besides, Thor is now just an ordinary person with a slightly better physique than the average person, and he can't withstand a stab at all.
If you can't even stab someone, what's the point of teasing him?
This is why Loki preferred to torment Tony on Sakaar rather than go to Earth.
That's so boring!
But now...
"Crisis, family, betrayal, anger, death, understanding, and regret..." Loki licked his lips excitedly.
He clapped his hands, and a script slowly emerged in his mind, instantly arranging Thor's fate perfectly.
"I'm simply God of Stories!"
