Bant: The Galactic Plumbers Aren't a Daycare for Overgrown Problem Children!
When Frigga saw Loki return, she quickly went over, grabbed his hand, and looked him over from head to toe. Only after confirming that Loki was not injured did she breathe a sigh of relief.
Odin wouldn't spoil his children like she did.
In his view, Loki's search for Malekith was inherently dangerous. As long as he didn't lose a hand or foot, getting injured was normal. Even if he did lose an arm and fled back in a sorry state, it wouldn't matter. The warriors of Asgard weren't that fussy.
At most, he would abandon his plan to train his eldest son, pick up the Gungnir himself, and turn Malekith into Malekith.
Loki sat down and gulped down several mouthfuls of water before speaking, "Malekith is very wary. I don't know if he doubts the credibility of what I'm saying, or if he thinks my ambitions are more than that, so he's on guard."
In fact, if he hadn't had to return to Asgard as an inside man to provide assistance, Malekith would have even wanted to monitor him 24/7 to prevent Loki from making any underhanded moves.
As for the loyalty that Psyphon believed, Malekith only believed half of it.
No matter how loyal you are, isn't it still betrayal?
"And he was in a hurry, giving us only a very short time," Loki said.
"Of course he's in a hurry, after all, the Nine Realms are about to unite, and if we miss this opportunity, we'll have to wait thousands of years," Ben said. "No, now that the Yggdrasil has taken root in the Legerdomain Dimension, it's very likely to affect the workings between the Nine Realms. If we miss this opportunity, nobody knows when the next one will be."
"That's right, he only gave me one month."
Loki looked at Odin, seemingly asking if Asgard was ready. Odin nodded and smiled, saying, "The inhabitants of Asgard, except for the warriors, have been sent to Legerdomain, and other important items have been taken away as well. Judging by the time, I can enter Odinsleep at any moment."
Odin looked like he was about to collapse.
Ben rolled his eyes.
Sleep my ass!
Originally, Odinsleep was caused by Odin aging body being unable to withstand the ever-increasing Odin Force, forcing him to use slumber as a way to alleviate the problem. However, now the Odin Force within him has merged with the Energy of the Universe Energy of the Universe, which is life energy, nourishing his aging body and fundamentally resolving the symptoms of Odinsleep.
The stronger Odin Force, the stronger the Energy of the Universe, and the stronger the Energy of the Universe, the stronger Odin's life force will be.
It's a perfect positive cycle.
As long as Odin continues to convert his growing divine power into Energy of the Universe, it is entirely possible for him to achieve true immortality.
Ben even doubted whether he would ever be able to get the loan back from Odin.
However, he won't lose out. Every time Odin converts a portion of his increased divine power into Energy of the Universe, Legerdomain will receive a portion of it. In other words, the longer Odin gains power, the more beneficial it is for Legerdomain, making it a long-term investment.
"However, it wouldn't be good if Asgard's warriors suffered too many losses. Even with Valhalla, death and life are not the same thing. So I'm thinking, why don't we take this opportunity to bring Hela back as well?"
Odin looked into Frigga's eyes and asked.
"Who is Hela?" Loki was clearly unaware that he had an older sister. After Frigga explained it to him, Loki was completely dumbfounded.
"You mean Thor and I have an older sister who fought alongside you throughout the universe, and then you sealed her away?"
"You didn't pick her up, did you?"
Odin gave him an awkward look.
Am I the kind of person who has nothing better to do than pick up kids every day?
Odin was definitely not that kind of person. Thousands of years ago, he was a ruthless man who would carry a spear on his shoulder and fight his way through the entire universe. Even a stray dog on the street would get shot if it appeared in front of him.
Picking up a child?
Why bother picking up a fart? Wouldn't it be much easier to just kill him?
Loki's long-standing resentment completely disappeared, and he was glad that he was born relatively late, otherwise he would probably have either frozen to death or been killed by Odin.
Moreover, compared to Hela, his biological daughter, he realized that the child he had taken in was being treated far too well.
Hela only wanted to continue the war, and before she could seize power, she was sealed away for thousands of years. This adopted son, who almost killed Odin, almost became the King of Asgard.
It's so good that I was born relatively late...
Loki thought this again.
"Goddess of Death Hela?" Ben wondered.
To be honest, with Odin's current divine power, if he were to seal Hela, Hela would probably never be free. However, he is, after all, a father, and he is much more merciful than before, so it's not unreasonable for him to give Hela a chance.
The problem lies in Hela's personality...
That woman's mind has probably been completely consumed by war long ago. Unlocking it is easy, but what happens afterward?
"What are your plans for her?" Ben asked.
"Liberating Hela also increases Asgard's military strength. Otherwise, if Malekith attacks and finds that Asgard is completely powerless to resist, he might become suspicious," Odin explained.
With Hela and her Army of the Dead, Odin had already decided to evacuate most of the Asgard warriors.
He wouldn't have cared about these things in the past, since there was Valhalla, but now he doesn't want to see these pointless casualties.
As for how to deal with Hela...
He stroked his beard, hesitated for a moment, and then turned his gaze to Ben, Ben suddenly had a bad feeling.
"After this is all over, how about sealing her divine power and then sending him to the Galactic Plumbers to suffer a bit?"
Odin thought it was a brilliant idea.
Looking at his youngest son, whose personality used to be so terrible, he has been completely transformed after spending some time on Sakaar. Thor is almost the same; although he hasn't lifted the hammer again, he has lost his former arrogance and conceit.
It can be said that once Thor regains his divine power and understands where his power comes from, he will immediately become a qualified God King.
Ben rolled his eyes and said, "My place isn't your private kindergarten. Don't dump all your problem children on me!"
That wretched Odin, what does he take the Galactic Plumbers for?!
"Don't rush to refuse. Hela is the Grim Reaper, although not the Grim Reaper of the Five Major Abstracts, but she does wield the authority of the Grim Reaper. The Legerdomain Dimension doesn't have the concept of death yet, right? If we had her power, we could create something similar to Valhalla."
Odin said.
That's quite appealing.
Ben suddenly realized that raising a Hela who didn't have any supernatural powers wouldn't be a problem, since she couldn't cause any trouble anyway.
Loki had no feelings for his sister whom he had never met; all he wanted now was to get to Earth as quickly as possible to cause trouble for Thor.
"Oh, right, Malekith also reminded me to try to find the Aether Particle..." He then looked at Odin, seemingly asking if Odin had placed the object properly.
The Aether Particle is key to Malekith's desire to rule the Nine Realms, and there's no way he could Aether Particle fall into Malekith's hands.
"To be honest, I don't know the whereabouts of the Aether Particle."
Odin shook his head.
The Aether Particle was stolen by his father, Bor, Bor sealed it away in a place unknown to anyone; at least, he couldn't find it anywhere in Asgard. Heimdall was also searching the Nine Realms, but hadn't found the Aether Particle's location either. However, judging by the time, the energy sealing the Aether Particle was probably about to dissipate.
"Don't worry about the Aether Particle; they're most likely on Earth," Ben said.
He felt that Asgard just liked to throw everything onto Earth.
The Cosmic Cube is like this, and so is my own eldest son.
The Aether Particle was no exception; he remembered that in the movie, Thor's girlfriend found the Aether Particle in a peculiar place on Earth.
In fact, Ben got this wrong. Bor Aether Particle in a place unknown to anyone. Jane Foster in the movie only obtained the particle because she accidentally entered that space.
However, the result was the same.
Earth does indeed have a passage to that space, and the agents of the Galactic Plumbers are already searching for it.
"That's good. As long as we make sure the Aether Particle don't fall into their hands, we'll be fine. We need to act quickly too. Here's what we'll do: in half a month, I will enter Odinsleep, and Hela will break the seal because of my slumber." Odin was talking nonsense with a straight face.
He really wanted to act immediately, but after thinking about it, he felt that starting to plan right after Loki's return seemed a bit too deliberate.
They all nodded.
The meeting was supposed to end here, but Loki hadn't forgotten the guy who had appeared with him before Malekith.
"I wasn't the only one going to find Malekith this time. There was another guy who claimed to be from the Black Order. It seems he's planning to join forces with Malekith to help Thanos get revenge."
Psyphon believed Loki's story, and Loki never doubted Psyphon's motives.
"Members of the Black Order?"
Ben hadn't expected the Black Order to still be active in the universe even without Thanos. However, with the Black Order dead or captured, they shouldn't have any capable fighters left.
"Or is it that Thanos didn't die?"
Ben had always suspected that Thanos was not dead.
That guy is in a state of being rejected by death; ordinary methods probably won't work to kill him.
Furthermore, he heard that the Queen of Xandar later did not find Thanos's body at the site of their battle.
"Could it really Thanos?"
He frowned with worry and told Loki and Odin about Thanos's situation. Odin then suddenly realized what was going on.
"I knew it! I was wondering why that kid was so hard to kill!"
Thanos had previously considered invading the Nine Realms, but Odin had driven him back. Odin even thought Thanos was somewhat capable, so despite going all out and having so many divine artifacts at his disposal, he still couldn't kill him. Little did he know that Thanos actually had the protection of the death of the Five Major Abstracts.
"If that's the case, it's indeed very troublesome." Loki was well aware of Thanos's abilities, and to confirm the situation, he directly used illusion magic to conjure up the image of Psyphon.
"That's the guy."
Ben recognized him immediately.
"What Black Order! He's not one of Thanos's men at all!"
"No?"
"He's one of Vilgax's men," Ben said. "I thought it was just Vilgax, but I didn't expect this guy to be here too."
Psyphon's strength is probably lacking. Although his role is somewhat similar to Ebony Maw, he doesn't actually possess much combat power. Ben doesn't seem to take him seriously, but...
This guy could be considered Vilgax's strategist. If he had simply appeared in Svartalfheim due to the fusion of planes, that would be one thing. But now he's clearly intentionally getting close to Malekith, obviously working for Vilgax.
"Could it be that after being struck by the Power Stone, Vilgax has his eye on it?"
Ben guessed.
This is not impossible. The reason why Vilgax is so obsessed with Little Broken Watch in the cartoon is because the young Vilgax was beaten up by Benny Affleck when he invaded Earth.
Having experienced the Power Stone, it's reasonable for Vilgax to set his sights on the Infinity Stones.
"Vilgax was already quite strong, and now that he's absorbed the Superpowers of Gladiator, he's definitely in some danger. Loki, keep in touch with Psyphon and try to find out Vilgax's location."
Ben didn't intend to alert the enemy by capturing a Psyphon.
Following him to the snake's nest is the right choice.
Loki nodded.
"I think he might also be interested in collaborating with me privately," he said with a smile.
Having finalized the plan, Ben decided not to stay in Asgard any longer.
The most important thing now is to find the Aether Particle. Loki would love to go to Earth with him to see Thor, but he'd better give up on that idea.
We won't get anything out of Thor now; it's better to wait until Malekith invades Asgard, then go there looking seriously injured.
--
Earth.
Galactic Plumbers Space Station.
Thor donned the white Galactic Plumbers Uniform; tall and handsome, he stood out even among a group of battle-hardened agents.
Looking at the agents standing with him, Thor's warrior spirit, which had cooled somewhat since arriving on Earth, seemed to reignite.
Ever since seeing Tony on the live stream, Thor has felt incredibly inspired.
Even in such a desperate situation, Tony Stark did not give up on himself, nor did he give up on surviving and saving the Earth. Therefore, he should not be discouraged just because he was stranded on Earth.
He didn't dare to hope to regain his divine power, but Thor felt that even if he became a mortal, he would be the bravest mortal!
Instead of staying in Primus as a security guard, just loafing around and waiting to die.
That was truly a life of idleness and waiting to die; no one would be foolish enough to cause trouble for Primus.
So he resolutely decided to join the Galactic Plumbers, to once again shoulder his glorious mission, and to fight for the peace of the universe.
Although he is currently a junior Plumbers at the branch, Thor believes that he will become a senior Plumbers sooner or later and then go to work at the Galactic Plumbers Headquarters!
He remembered that Loki was now Security Officer at the Galactic Plumbers Headquarters.
"Perhaps by then, I'll be able to lift Mjolnir once again?"
