Galactic Plumbers Reinforcements Arrive
Nidavellir, the land of dwarves.
In the universe, Nidavellir's name spread like a fairy tale to every corner of the world.
Countless weapons with wondrous abilities originate from this place. The skilled craftsmen of the dwarves forge them and, like Xing Yi, deliver them to brave warriors destined to create miracles, helping them fulfill their glorious mission.
But as the people who heard these stories grew up, most came to believe that Nidavellir was just a beautiful legend, a story that circulated throughout the universe and did not actually exist.
However, only a few people in the Nine Realms knew that this dimension truly existed. The King of Gods of the Gods of Asgard conquered the Nine Realms, Nidavellir also submitted to the God King's rule. From that moment on, the Forge, with the planet's core as its furnace, became almost exclusively Asgard's property, and Asgard would, as promised, Eternity protect the dwarves' safety.
Until today, a powerful army arrived here and launched an attack without mercy.
"Is this Nidavellir? The legendary place where weapons capable of killing gods are said to exist?"
Psyphon stood inside the spaceship, surveying the seemingly dead planet.
Nidavellir looks like a dead star; its surface is gray, barren and cold, nothing but bare rock, and when the wind blows, gray dust is swirled high into the sky.
No one who comes here would give it a second glance.
Because this planet is no different from other planets unsuitable for life; it's like a grain of sand scattered in a desert that can never be found again.
However, this desolate scene cannot be blamed on the planet, because there are no conditions within its boundaries sufficient for life to arise, not even a single star.
However, Psyphon will not be fooled by the illusions on the planet's surface.
Five thousand years ago, the Dark Elf possessed fighting power comparable to Asgard, and they also had extensive knowledge of the Nine Realms.
Nidavellir is on this planet, but not on its surface; it is inside. The dwarves live in caves underground, fueled by the energy generated by the planet's Star Core. They also rely on that terrifying energy and their craftsmanship to forge divine weapons for Asgard.
"Is this the place where a weapon capable of killing gods was born?"
A glint of anticipation flashed in Psyphon's eyes.
If such a powerful weapon truly exists, it should be handed over to Lord Vilgax!
"It's not really a god-slaying weapon, just a weapon with immense power," said one of the Dark Elf traveling with him.
Because Psyphon had previously helped Malekith subdue the world of the Queen of Cinders and the Fire Demon, many Dark Elf trusted him more than Loki. However, conquering Nidavellir was not as difficult as the previous missions, so this time, no Cursed Warrior accompanied him.
Otherwise, Psyphon could trick the Cursed Warrior again to strengthen his own team's combat power.
"There is indeed a All-Black the Necrosword in legend that can kill all the gods, but it's just a myth," the Dark Elf explained. "The dwarves of Nidavellir can only forge ordinary divine artifacts."
Although described as ordinary, it is actually far superior to the Dark Matter Blade used by the Dark Elf.
It's just ordinary compared to those weapons that can destroy the universe at will.
"A divine artifact..." Psyphon murmured. A divine artifact seemed good, but the legendary All-Black the Necrosword was more of a concern to him.
Is it possible to kill all the gods?
Could it be useful to the Celestialsapiens?
He quickly shook his head, thinking it unlikely.
However, in his opinion, only the All-Black the Necrosword was worthy of Vilgax.
"Later I can check if there's any record of the All-Black the Necrosword in the documents Thanos left behind," Psyphon thought. Right now, he still needed to focus on the task Malekith had given him.
Although he is a spy, there is no conflict between him and Malekith for the time being. On the contrary, the greater Malekith's power, the better he can take advantage of the chaos, use the power of the Dark Elf to wreak havoc on the Nine Realms, and ideally, directly confront the Galactic Plumbers.
"Since they have the ability to forge divine artifacts, it's probably not so easy to conquer them, is it?" Psyphon asked.
This is tantamount to asking: If you had so many giants, how could you still have gone extinct?
The Dark Elf immediately sneered and explained, "Artifacts require powerful individuals to wield, and there are no powerful individuals among the dwarves."
"No wonder they've allied with Asgard."
Psyphon nodded.
To be able to forge powerful artifacts but lack the strength to use them is not a blessing, but a curse.
Treasures that cannot be protected will only bring disaster, just like now.
"Then let's attack! Let us bring unprecedentedly powerful weapons to Lord Malekith, the ruler of the Nine Realms!" Psyphon's eyes gleamed. With a wave of his hand, the stealthy fleet quickly revealed its true form and launched a barrage of artillery fire towards Nidavellir!
Boom boom boom!!
Energy cannons rained down from the sky like a sudden downpour.
In an instant, the entire planet shook violently!
Although the dwarves did not live on the planet's surface, they were instantly awakened by the violent tremors that caused the surface to collapse.
Just as Eitri of the Dwarves was about to lead a large number of people out from underground, he saw a large number of Dark Elf ships flying in through the hole in the planet. Countless Dark Elf warriors, wielding blades, cruelly jumped down from the ships and began to Carnage the dwarves.
"Dark Elf?!"
Eitri was taken aback.
Weren't the Dark Elf sealed away by Bor, the king of Asgard, five thousand years ago? How come they've returned now?
Despite his doubts, he acted swiftly, immediately picking up his hammer and leading the dwarves on the star ring in a rebellion.
While there are indeed no strong individuals among their race, they are not weak compared to ordinary creatures. Although they are called dwarves, they are actually enormous in size, only their proportions make them appear like dwarfs.
"Defend our homeland!"
"Drive out the Dark Elf!"
Eitri raised his forged iron hammer and charged out with his dwarven warriors.
The dwarves possess immense physical strength; their muscles are forged in iron and fire. Weak creatures simply cannot survive near the Star Core; the intense heat and pressure would instantly kill them.
Not to mention using Star Core to forge weapons.
However, they still seemed powerless against the Dark Elf and Fire Demon.
"Fearless resistance."
Dark Elf warriors are extremely skilled in assassination and magic, rendering the dwarves' powerful bodies useless against them. As for Fire Demon, they are even more formidable, possessing immense strength from birth and being physically stronger than the dwarves!
With a wave of her hand, the Queen of Cinders Sindr conjured up a host of fiery beasts in the underground space: giant fire snakes, centipedes, dragons... monsters charged into the battlefield like tigers among sheep.
In an instant, the battle situation showed signs of becoming one-sided.
Psyphon also joined the battle. He was very focused and extremely elegant, using his mental abilities like a mage to sweep away the dwarf warriors.
His power comes from Gladiator.
However, they are expressed in slightly different ways. Gladiator Fighter uses all his energy to strengthen his body, while Psyphon focuses more on his spirit.
However, the biggest difference between them is that Gladiator builds his confidence on himself, while Psyphon builds his confidence on Vilgax.
As long as he still believes that Vilgax is invincible, then Psyphon's power will not decline.
At this moment, as he attacked, he also admired Nidavellir's true appearance.
The planet serves as a cavern, yet the deep core of the earth is not dark, for the energy of a Star Core shines Eternity, illuminating everything. Between the Star Core and the planet lies a vast void, within which three man-made star rings continuously revolve, guiding the energy of the Star Core toward a colossal furnace in the distance.
It must be said, "Exquisite craftsmanship!"
Psyphon exclaimed in amazement.
No wonder the dwarves' craftsmanship is so advanced; no wonder they can even forge divine artifacts.
It's important to understand that in his original universe, there were very few things that could be called divine artifacts. Putting aside the technological creation of the Omnitrix, Psyphon had only heard of the Azmuth's Ascalon, the Star Core that could grant people great power, and the Alpha Rune could control the Manna Dimension.
"I'm getting more and more excited about what surprises they have in store for me."
Psyphon exclaimed happily, "Bring all these dwarfs up here!"
However, they still needed the dwarves to help forge weapons, so they did not kill them outright, but instead aimed to capture them.
Even so, the dwarves were quickly routed by his and the Dark Elf ' offensive.
Eitri became increasingly desperate as the fight progressed.
Later, seeing his people constantly being injured and falling to the ground, he lost the will to fight.
However, he did not surrender immediately. Instead, he roared at the Dark Elf in a loud voice, "Stop, Dark Elf!"
"Do you want to invite the wrathful thunders of Asgard?!"
"Nidavellir is the land protected by Odin, the King of Gods! Leave immediately!"
That's what he said, but Eitri had a bad feeling. He thought that he only needed to hold on for a while, and the Asgard reinforcements would arrive immediately through the Bifrost.
Odin, the God King, could see everything in the Nine Realms, and Heimdall also kept a close watch on the Nine Realms.
But it didn't happen.
Instead of reinforcements from Asgard, they found themselves powerless to resist.
Perhaps something happened that caused the delay.
Eitri thought that perhaps the Dark Elf had also attacked Asgard, but it didn't matter; Odin would soon quell the war and then lead his army to fight.
But a single sentence from the Dark Elf plunged him into despair.
Odin is long dead! You are already isolated and helpless!
"Dwarfs! Kneel! And swear to be slaves of us Dark Elf for the rest of your lives!"
However, at that moment, a resolute voice interrupted them:
"No one here will be enslaved—surrender now, Dark Elf!"
Everyone looked in astonishment towards the planetary cave, where a massive black shadow blocked the entrance. Psyphon immediately recognized it as an enormous warship, and above it was a symbol he recognized all too well—
"Galactic Plumbers!"
It wasn't Psyphon who shouted that name, but Eitri.
The dwarf felt a renewed sense of hope, as if he had seen Xing Yi.
He had seen the Galactic Plumbers from afar during Loki's coronation ceremony last time. Since they were Odin's chosen king, they must have something extraordinary about them. Perhaps Nidavellir could be saved this time.
Inside the Giant Battleship, Bill, dressed in a silver-white Plumber Uniform and holding Ronan's weapon, looked at the Dark Elf and Fire Demon wreaking havoc in the cave with an angry expression.
The actions of these men reminded him of the original fate of the Korbin People.
Their homeland was invaded by Fire Demon, forcing them to flee. Even while on the run, the Fire Demon refused to let them go.
His heart burned with justice like fire and lightning. Although he had never met the dwarves, he was determined not to let Nidavellir repeat the same mistakes!
"I am Beta Ray Bill, the Galactic Plumbers Security Officer!"
"Dark Elf, Fire Demon, surrender now! Otherwise, the Galactic Plumbers's Plumbers will attack immediately!"
Psyphon frowned. "Troublesome people are here."
He had no intention of confronting the Galactic Plumbers right now.
"Is this the Galactic Plumbers?" The Dark Elf didn't take the Galactic Plumbers seriously. "Just a Security Officer. If we can capture their warship here, Lord Malekith will praise us!"
If the person who came was King of Sakaar of the Galactic Plumbers, that would be one thing, but what ability could a mere Security Officer possibly have?
Isn't that Loki guy Security Officer too?
Of course, the main reason was that the Dark Elf also wanted to see if he could find out the whereabouts of the Aether Particle from Bill. If he could find out, it would be a great achievement!
"That makes sense..."
Psyphon nodded, thinking that weakening part of the Galactic Plumbers's strength here might be a good thing.
Anyway, everyone here is Malekith's man, so he won't care if they die. In fact, it would be better if both sides were to suffer heavy losses.
Inside the spaceship.
The Thing Brothers stood behind Bill, Korg stroked his chin, saying, "Looks like they're not planning to surrender."
"Then crush them!"
Without hesitation, Bill turned around, hammer in hand, and walked out of the warship.
The other soldiers followed immediately.
The most elite part of his fleet consisted of warriors who had once been active in the Sakaar Gladiator Arena; those who survived to the end were all skilled fighters. Following them was a team of Plumbers composed of Sakaarans and Korbinites warriors.
These are rising stars, but their skills are quite impressive.
After Ben and Eunice analyzed Bill's modification system and the modification data left by Nebula, they gained a deeper understanding of modified warriors. It can be said that every Plumbers in the headquarters is a very powerful warrior, with basic stats no worse Asgardian.
