Who are you?

Inside the spaceship, Zod and the others looked at Ben with immense hostility. As Kryptonian warriors, fear was not in their genes, but Ben's bizarre appearance and his unauthorized invasion of their spaceship still sent chills down their spines.

With a thought, Faora's armor automatically switched to combat mode. The black metal clicked and clacked a few times, looking both heavy and lightweight, unlike Tony Stark's bulky armor.

This valiant female warrior stood with her feet slightly apart and her knees slightly bent, clearly ready for battle.

Her head was covered by some kind of special translucent substance, as if a Bubblehead Charm had been cast.

Fighting on a spaceship could very likely damage it. Even Kryptonian, without being enhanced by the Yellow Sun, would not be able to survive in space on their physical bodies.

But with this armor, everything is different. The armor looks primitive, but it gives them the ability to fight in all kinds of extreme environments. Even if they are thrown into lava, they will not be damaged in the slightest.

"He's taken control of the ship." The aide looked at Zod with a hint of panic and whispered.

Before he could finish speaking, the spaceship's hatch opened, and Clark, dressed in a bodysuit, walked in.

Clark's appearance immediately attracted everyone's attention. In this tense situation, he walked in with an innocent look on his face, dressed in a dignified and solemn Kryptonian suit.

It was as if a fierce battle was about to erupt when a muscular man in a pink dress, wielding a magic wand, burst in, performing ballet moves.

"You're Zod?" Clark recognized Zod at a glance.

When Jor-El told him the truth, he used the spaceship's technology to recreate Zod's resolute face.

Faced with his father's killer, Clark found that he didn't feel much anger.

He knew that the Contradiction between Zod and Jor-El stemmed from their differing ideologies, but their goal was the same—to save Krypton's future.

"Karl El!"

Zod recognized him immediately.

The bright red "S" on that "formal dress" is the symbol of the El Family.

He immediately became excited and exclaimed, "I was just about to come find you!"

Zod was delighted. Kal'El was dressed in the most formal Kryptonian attire and had traveled a great distance to find him, clearly showing a sense of belonging to Krypton.

He was far removed from the fact that Jor-El and Lara had ultimately sent Karl and the Codex away, but Zod wouldn't take that resentment out on Karl.

As long as they can contribute to rebuilding Krypton, they are good Kryptonian!

Zod knew he could only ever be a general, but Karl El had much more potential.

Perhaps Kal'El can become the leader of the New Krypton.

He was thinking.

Zod knew his own limitations; he had the ability to conquer a planet and transform it into its original Krypton form, but he also knew he lacked the capacity to lead Krypton to the future.

He would never have committed such a rebellious and presumptuous act as launching a rebellion if it weren't for saving Krypton's future.

His original plan was to use the Codex to cultivate a new generation of Krypton rulers and then hand the world over to them.

But now it seems that if Karl El is capable of sitting down properly, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to make him the leader.

"I've been looking for you for decades, Karl," Zod said happily. The other Kryptonian relaxed a little, but they still kept an eye on Ben, the alien, out of the corner of their eyes.

"I'm so glad you took the initiative to reach out to me. This means that we, the displaced Kryptonian, are reunited once again, and will once again spread Krypton glory throughout the universe!"

"You may not know me yet, my name is Drew Zod..."

"I know you," Clark interrupted him.

Zod paused for a moment, thinking that Jor-El must have left some kind of backup plan that allowed the other party to know about the past. If that were the case, then the fact that he killed Jor-El might also have been discovered.

But Zod remained calm and continued, "In that case, you should also know that the Codex is Krypton's last hope. Kal'El, your father and I were once very good friends, but unfortunately, our disagreements ultimately led to Krypton's destruction."

"Your mother, Lara, made the same choice as Jor-El, and what was the result? She and Xing Yi were destroyed. Now, everything has proven that only we can rebuild Krypton. We need your help. Hand over the Codex, and let us join forces to keep the flame of Krypton alive on that planet!"

"This is our... destiny!"

Zod clenched his fist.

To be honest, his words did touch Clark somewhat.

Having been lonely for so long, Clark truly longed to have some people like himself.

But that's not the crux of the problem.

"What do you plan to do to Earth?" Clark asked.

Seeing that Clark seemed somewhat interested, Zod's joy was evident, and he immediately began to explain, "Your father and mother placed the Krypton treasure, the Codex, on the spaceship that is traveling with you to Earth. The Codex contains the genetic code of all Kryptonian. With it, the flame of Krypton will not be extinguished! Krypton civilization will not be extinguished!"

"With it, and by modifying Earth's environment, an identical Krypton will reappear in the universe!"

Clark frowned immediately.

He had already noticed two problems with Zod's plan.

First, Zod didn't consider the lives of Earthlings at all. Second, even if he succeeded, Krypton would be no different from the original destroyed Krypton. The new generation of Kryptonian would still be genetically controlled, repeating the same mistakes, exhausting Earth's energy, and then waiting for their demise once again.

"How?"

"Humans cannot survive in Krypton's environment," Clark said.

He already knew how harsh Krypton's original environment was; the higher gravity alone was enough to wipe out most life on Earth, not to mention that Krypton's atmosphere was completely toxic to humans.

Even now, he finds it difficult to adapt to the air composition inside the Zod spaceship.

There was some kind of toxic substance weakening him; if Ben hadn't temporarily put a filter in his nasal cavity, Clark felt he probably would have fainted by now.

"Earthlings?"

"Why should we care about those inferior races?" Zod retorted, somewhat displeased.

He didn't take the so-called Earthlings seriously at all. They were nothing more than a backward and inferior civilization in the universe, the weakest link in this dark cosmic forest, and their existence was utterly worthless.

"When our ancient Kryptonian were exploring the universe, those Earthlings were just pathetic monkeys!"

To be honest, let alone the fact that changing the atmosphere might kill Earthlings, even if Earthlings survived, Zod planned to carry out a Carnage!

He has no intention of sharing the planet with these inferior beings.

"I know you grew up on Earth, Karl, so I understand your pity for those Earthlings. Here's what we'll do: once we've wiped them all out, we'll set a special day to commemorate it. We can make some turkeys or something every year to thank them for their contributions to rebuilding Krypton."

Ben was standing nearby, almost crashed his circuit board when he heard Zod's words.

I'm so touched and grateful.

You Kryptonian also have another name, America, right?

"I think they must have a lot in common with the America," Ben said in Clark's ear, disappearing like a drop of water and then suddenly emerging from the ground.

Clark's expression wasn't too good, because this matter was also recorded in America history.

"Hey, General Zod, here's what you're doing. You can do it in North America, they have a long history of it anyway. You're just following tradition, I think that's fine."

"Ben!" Clark was getting a little anxious.

He knew that America was wrong, but he couldn't just stand by and watch this happen again.

Fortunately Zod didn't even glance at Ben.

"I'm speaking to my people, what are you?!"

He had wanted to ask that for a long time.

Even among the records of civilizations that have traversed the universe on Krypton, there has never been a creature like the Ben.

This sticky, snot-like little thing seems to be able to control machines. Perfect timing, Zod was a bit worried that the outpost ship on Earth might have malfunctioned due to its age and lack of maintenance. If he could catch this black, sticky snot, maybe he wouldn't have to worry anymore.

"I'm just a Galactic Plumbers Security Officer who's passing by."

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, all in one look!

"No matter what you are, you are now our spoils of war. Immediately disarm our ship and take us to Earth!" Zod commanded coldly.

"I think your little brain must be fried by heat," Ben shook his head helplessly. "Zod, you want to save Krypton, but your actions are just repeating the same mistakes. Even if you can turn Earth into a second Krypton, so what? That would only temporarily prolong Krypton's lifespan. At your pace, it won't be long before Earth also suffers destruction."

"You want to save Krypton? I have a plan."

"So what?" Zod wasn't buying it at all.

"There are countless planets in the universe that can be terraformed! Even if Earth is destroyed, we can still colonize the next planet!"

"You actually want to continue the colony?!" Clark exclaimed incredulously.

Zod treated the planet as a expendable resource. If his plan had continued, the Kryptonian would have become a nomadic people in the universe, bringing death and destruction to other civilizations.

"Unfortunately, it seems we disagree." Zod knew from Clark's expression that there was no need to continue the conversation.

Clark didn't care about what he resisted; in fact, one could say he craved it.

He was a born soldier and warrior; without war, what would be his value?

To fight and slaughter other races for the survival of Krypton is something that is inherently desired in his genes.

He drew a short blade from the right thigh of his armor.

"Karl El, disarm this dark thing from the ship! If you dare to obstruct me, even if it's you, I will annihilate you without mercy!"

"Looks like there's no point in trying to reason with them." Ben turned his head.

He did want to share his thoughts with Zod, but the other party clearly didn't take him seriously, had no intention of listening, and was already committed to his own path, so even if he spoke, it might not be of any use.

Besides, Ben isn't without temper; with Zod being so arrogant, how could he possibly be expected to fawn over him and speak politely?

Let's beat them up first.

Hopefully, even after he gets beaten up, he'll still be as unruly as he is now.

"Do it!"

Zod lived up to his reputation as the destined general. After a disagreement arose, he immediately turned hostile. Several Kryptonian warriors, who had been waiting for his orders, rushed over like cannonballs and punched Ben's Clark.

"Transform!"

A flash of green light appeared on Ben's body, and he immediately transformed from Upgrade into Solarstorm.

Faced with the female warrior Faora's attack, he only slightly raised his hand, which was already the limit of her strength.

Bang!

The sonic boom was deafening, but Faora's fist could not penetrate an inch.

"How is this possible?" Faora's eyes widened in disbelief.

He was fully armed, his armor granting him Superman strength, allowing him to leap several kilometers with a single bound and easily shatter asteroids. How could it have been blocked?

Moreover, the opponent wasn't wearing armor.

The situation was similar on the other side, but the big guy was probably stronger Faora. He punched Clark back several steps and smashed the spaceship's hatch.

But once Clark regained his balance, the situation instantly reversed.

"What the hell are you?!"

Zod had no time to worry about Clark; he had witnessed Ben suddenly transform from a monster into a humanoid being, wearing combat gear similar to that of Kryptonian.

It's worth noting that his own clothing underneath the armor was also of the same style.

He's a... Kryptonian!

"That's what my aide said in surprise."

After the Upgrade's transformation was dispelled, control of the spaceship returned to them, and the staff were able to use the spaceship's technology to scan Ben's body, which surprised him even more.

"His genes are even better than Karl El's!"

"How is this possible?!" Zod exclaimed in shock. "How can there be other Kryptonian in this world?!"

Who are you?!

"I've already said, I'm just a Galactic Plumbers Security Officer passing by. Of course, you can also call me— Solarstorm!"

After saying that, Ben grabbed Faora's wrist and swung it hard at Zod.

Whoosh!

Zod had no time to dodge and was hit directly, crashing through the ship's windows along with Faora and flying into space.

Of course, this wasn't a big problem for him, who was wearing a combat suit. He was just about to get rid of Faora and counterattack when he looked up and bumped into a broad chest.

My gaze shifted upwards, and I saw that Ben's eyes were blazing with intensity!

Boom!!

Two scorching beams of light swept across in an instant, flattening the distant planets.

Zod was severely injured by this attack and drifted half-dead in space.

Zod: He encountered Ben by chance and, despite his best efforts, could not defeat him.
