It's all me

Before heading to the Inheritors' Lair, Ben returned to 2099.

Miguel and the others immediately surrounded them.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that Bant was alright. Gwen's injuries had mostly healed, but she still looked a little pale. Seeing Bant return safely, she wished she could cling to him and never let go.

Having faced such a formidable enemy as Morlun, even with all her confidence in Ben, she couldn't help but worry about him.

"Benny, are you alright?"

Uncle Ben and Aunt May grabbed him and looked him up and down.

"I'm fine. Morlun has been defeated, and I also know where the Inheritors' Lair is," Ben said, his gaze sweeping over the Spider-Man as if inspecting his army. "Spider-Man, it's time to prepare for the final assault."

Is there enough time?

Peter pushed his way through the crowd. There were so many Spider-Man, and every single one of Spider-Man was curious about Ben, this "cousin" who had never appeared before, and ended up pushing Peter, the real cousin, out of the picture.

But he's one of the people who knows that Little Broken Watch best.

"Benny, your watch is broken."

Upon hearing this, Gwen and the others noticed that the wristwatch on Qi Ren's wrist was emitting black smoke and sparks, clearly indicating that it was overloaded.

"The watch is just an accessory; I'm Spider-Man even without it."

Ben didn't care about the replica watch.

Super-Kill has been confirmed that the Enigma Force belongs to a type of Symbiote, which means one thing—as an optimized Symbiote, Super-Kill is able to absorb the Enigma Force within Solus' body!

Now the Inheritors will know what it feels like to be prey!

However, one thing is true: without Little Broken Watch, he would face considerable pressure dealing with so many Inheritors on his own, which is why he returned to 2099 first.

I need a squad.

His gaze fell upon the numerous Spider-Man, and although they wore masks, one could almost see the anticipation on each of Spider-Man faces.

Peter.

He called me!

"It's me!"

"It was me!"

"I am Peter!"

"..."

Instantly, thousands upon thousands of Spider-Man erupted in a cacophony of voices. Ben realized he'd done something foolish and tossed the Sonic Ring into the air. "Quiet!"

"I'm referring to Peter from my universe."

Peter straightened his back and walked to Ben's side with his hands raised like he was on a catwalk. The other Spider-Man looked disappointed, and their eye sockets on their masks drooped.

Miguel.

Miguel elephant took a step forward, displaying his massive pectoral muscles, Ben continued to muster his troops.

Gwen.

"Of course I'm included!" Gwen breathed a sigh of relief, ready to celebrate victory with Ben.

"Blonde Peter."

Blonde Peter was delighted. "We'll be fighting side-by-side again. It's so reassuring to fight alongside you."

"Uncle Ben, Aunt May."

Before Ben could finish speaking, a hunched and withered Aunt May, dressed in Spider Suit, came out, startling Ben so much that he quickly helped her back inside.

"I'm referring to Uncle Ben and Aunt May from the Galactic Plumbers."

The other Spider-Man were waiting for Ben to continue calling out names, but they were disappointed.

That's all.

He clapped his hands, indicating that no one else was needed.

"Is this enough manpower?" After the previous battles, the Spider-Man clearly understood the power of the Inheritors. So many Spider-Man and such powerful warriors had failed; how could Ben possibly gather enough people?

"Excuse my bluntness, everyone."

Ben glanced at them and explained, "Too many people isn't a good thing. You all know the Inheritors can absorb our power, and too many of us would just become their life support. Of the people I chose, Uncle Ben and Aunt May aren't Spider-Man, so they won't be controlled by them. Gwen and I also have the Energy of the Universe to escape the Inheritors ' influence."

"But... seven people, isn't that too few?"

Even Miguel hesitated.

"It's a bit little, but I can't upgrade too much equipment in a short time."

"I can't help it Ben said helplessly.

He had originally planned to use Krypton technology to design battle suits for the Galactic Plumbers, but due to time constraints, he hadn't had the chance. Now, he didn't have enough time either. In addition, although he already had the technology, the production line hadn't kept up, so the battle suits could only be made by hand, which naturally resulted in low efficiency.

Seven sets of battle suits, but they'll probably be the low-end versions.

"Let's begin then..."

--

Solus returned to the mansion of the Inheritor Family.

He held a crying baby in his arms, looked at his family members, and said in a low voice, "You all don't look too well?"

Having been killed several times in a short period of time, Daemos and his men were indeed somewhat exhausted.

"But there's some good news at the last chance: we've got the last offspring." Solus held up the baby like an eagle seizing a newborn fawn, and everyone in the family looked on with eager anticipation.

Brix then delivered another piece of news that pleased Solus.

"The Bride has also been killed."

He recounted the previous battle to Solus, mentioning that Cindy Moon had died at Morlun's hands, and that their brother Morlun, after defeating many Spider-Man, had fought Ben Parker and had not returned since.

"I'm afraid your brother will never return."

Solus showed no sorrow. He carried the infant beneath the Web of Destiny, pressing the dagger against the baby's delicate skin. Blood slowly trickled down the blade, staining the spiderweb red.

"Brother Morlun is not coming back?"

"Could he have been killed? How could that be?"

None of his children believed it, and even Daemos didn't think Morlun would die so easily.

That guy named Ben Parker is actually that powerful?

"After I drained Cosmic Spider-Man, I tracked down those bugs," Solus replied calmly, "But by the time I got there, the battle was over. Since Morlun wasn't there and didn't return, there's only one possibility."

"You lost even with the Nemetrix, you useless Morlun!" Daemos was the first to curse.

The other Inheritors were immediately filled with fear.

What should we do?

"How could even Morlun have lost? Could that prophecy be coming true?"

"Idiot!"

Daemos cursed.

"Now that the other party, the Bride, and the offspring are all gathered, those vermin have no chance!"

Once the last drop of blood is smeared onto the Web of Destiny, the power of the Spider Totem will be severed forever from the timeline, and those vermin will be powerless to reverse the situation.

"Daemos is right," Solus said, having already smeared all the blood on the surface. The Weaver Master, smelling the blood, watched in anguish as an infant's life vanished before his eyes, powerless to stop it.

Solus continued, "Even that Spider-Man who defeated Morlun doesn't need to worry, because I now possess invincible power!"

The powerful Cosmos Power completely captivated Solus.

If Captain Cosmos hadn't been foolish enough to engage in close combat with him, he wouldn't have been able to obtain this power so easily.

The exhilarating feeling was just like drinking a whole cup of bubble tea in one go!

"I'm afraid you'll be disappointed, Morlun."

The Weaver Master, imprisoned in the Web of Destiny, was filled with sorrow for the lost life, yet at this moment, as if fate itself were asserting. "The curse of the Inheritor Family has not been broken; the prophecy still stands!"

"I can already see your doomed future not far off."

"What did you say?!"

Solus immediately threw the dead baby to the ground and grabbed the Weaver Master by the throat.

The Weaver Master wasn't afraid, only managing to utter broken syllables between breaths. "You think you've killed something else, but sadly, Kaine is no longer something else."

You lied to me?

"I just changed everything."

The Weaver Master gave a bitter laugh.

As the Spider God, the Great Weaver, he had long ago transferred this belligerent spirit from Scarlet Spider-Man's body to Ben Parker, a more suitable host.

Not just other things.

Ben was also the Bride.

He wasn't the one the Totem actively chose to bear, but he did become the most unexpected Spider-Man due to other factors.

From the moment Ben became Spider-Man, the Bride was no longer Cindy Moon. Solus was still clinging to outdated information, believing he had victory in his grasp.

As for the descendants, the divine power of this Totem was transferred due to the arrival of the former two. Ben Parker may not be the youngest Spider-Man, but he is indeed the last Spider-Man born in the Multiverse in recent times.

When three special Totem come together on the same person, the Inheritors ' defeat is already predetermined, and the fate of Spider-Man and his crew is rewritten.

"Nonsense."

Solus didn't take the Weaver Master's words to heart.

Having obtained the Cosmos Power, he became somewhat arrogant, believing that no enemy, no matter what kind, could be his match.

Moreover, the two are already mortal enemies; do you really think they can reconcile now that things have come to this?

"If it weren't for the ability to travel through the Multiverse, you would have been killed by me long ago!" Solus said viciously, gripping the Weaver Master's head with one hand. "But soon, I won't need you anymore!"

"You really won't need it soon." A strange voice suddenly appeared, like a sharp blade cutting off Solus's voice.

Instantly, the other Inheritors present shuddered as if by conditioned reflex, and the fear of death spread from the depths of their hearts.

Solus turned around and saw seven figures passing through the shimmering Multiverse gate, lined up in front of him.

The Spider-Man in the lead had a well-proportioned figure, with golden ratios that were pleasing to the eye. His suit seemed to breathe, and the dissipated energy formed ribbons in the air.

Lately, I've felt like my writing isn't quite right; it just doesn't feel as interesting, and it got a bit sluggish towards the end. I can sense many shortcomings in my writing, and I'll try to speed up the plot and finish it as soon as possible.
