Three Seconds Is Pretty Great Too
She still can't forget the Bullfrog.
Why must we die?
Ben said calmly.
"Oh right, you have Omnitrix!" Attea's eyes lit up, but then dimmed again.
"That's no use. Even if you could become Way Big, that dead crab has so many Evil Highbreed."
The Way Big was already the limit of Attea's imagination of powerful life forms in the universe; as for Alien X, that was just a legend.
"The Conquest Ray only takes thirty seconds to charge; there's no way we can rush into the Beast Ring in such a short time," she continued.
"You don't actually think that Planetary Shield can withstand the death storm of thousands of Evil Highbreed, do you?" Dr. Psychobos sneered. "In front of my army of Evil Highbreed, your technology is no different from that of primitive people; it would be reduced to ashes with the slightest touch!"
"I'm being polite."
"Even Azmuth's Omnitrix cannot stop me!"
"I, Dr. Psychobos, am the smartest person in the entire universe!"
Ben glanced at him sideways. "Don't laugh, challenge me? You win."
Dr. Psychobos, oblivious to everything, continued his blatant nonsense, "Go ahead and transform, you'll soon become cosmic dust anyway."
Instead of transforming, Ben deactivated his Four Arms transformation and sat cross-legged in the pilot's seat of the spaceship.
"Are you sure it's your Evil Highbreed?"
"Nonsense, if it's not my Evil Highbreed Evil Highbreed, then it's yours!" Dr. Psychobos said matter-of-factly.
"You don't know this yet, do you? These Evil Highbreed are biological warriors I cloned from the DNA you left behind in the Knowhere. I watched them grow from the cellular level, implanting programs that obey my commands into them!"
"I am their master!"
"That's why I said you're arrogant and foolish. You're far inferior to Azmuth, let alone me."
Ben snapped his fingers lightly.
In outer space, the pitch-black, ferocious Evil Highbreed seemed to hear a silent command. The converged cross rays did not dissipate, but instead changed direction in unison, aiming at Dr. Psychobos, who controlled the Conquest Ray.
"Now, who are their masters?" Ben raised an eyebrow and asked flippantly.
Wow, that's amazing!
Attea's eyes lit up; she felt saved again.
"He truly is the man I've set my sights on!"
"How is this possible!"
Dr. Psychobos was dumbfounded.
How could the army of Evil Highbreed they had painstakingly raised possibly obey that brat's orders?
"What's impossible?"
Ben said, "You only managed to make them obey your commands by pre-programming their genetic code. But I've already cracked it. You shouldn't have forgotten that you took me to visit their culture chambers, right?"
Dr. Psychobos remembered; there really was such a thing.
But Ben only stayed with him for less than a day before going to find Attea, and the time they spent alone together was only a few hours.
"You mean you cracked my masterpiece in just a few hours?!"
Dr. Psychobos was completely overwhelmed.
Someone like him, who considers himself a genius, can't stand the fact that his carefully designed creations turn out to be nothing more than simple toys to others.
I still have to give you a compliment.
Ben said casually, "After all, it's already quite good that it took me a few hours to crack it."
He seemed to think that even three more seconds would be a long time.
"You!!!"
Unable to bear the humiliation, Dr. Psychobos crushed the communicator.
"Damn Ben Parker!"
He already knew he was going to die; even with the Conquest Ray, he couldn't possibly fight against so many Evil Highbreed.
But even in his dying moments, he wanted to take the other person down with him!
"Hmph, so what if you stole my Evil Highbreed? You won't have time to get back into the Planetary Shield. I'll fire my Conquest Ray now, and the energy blast will Oblivion you along with me!"
"You'll die with me!"
A mad glint flashed in Dr. Psychobos's eyes as he slammed down the button.
But the expected explosion did not occur.
The Conquest Ray, which had been charged to 100%, seemed to be stuck and remained motionless.
What's going on?
Dr. Psychobos frantically pressed the elevator button like a delivery guy waiting for an elevator, but nothing happened.
Then, the screen went black.
A few lines of text floated across the screen.
[I forgot to tell you, I also hacked the Conquest Ray's firing system. You'll be buried in the warship along with the Incursean Empire -- Ben Parker]
After that line of text appeared, the entire internal system of the warship suddenly stopped, as if it had turned into a giant coffin.
Dr. Psychobos slammed his fist on the table, ordering the Incursean soldiers to activate the backup system, but no matter how hard he tried to use his super brain, he couldn't crack the Firewall left by Ben.
Inside the star ring.
Many people still don't know what exactly happened.
They only saw the fierce attack cease, the countless Incursean warships dimming as if their engines had been extinguished, and the giants that had surrounded them turning around to face the warships themselves.
Immediately afterwards, a small opening appeared in the barrier outside the star ring, and a small spaceship crashed down.
Ben maneuvers the spaceship to land while simultaneously sending an attack command to the Evil Highbreed.
In an instant, thousands of rays were unleashed, sweeping away the densely packed warships of the Incursean like meat pigeons.
Now the people on the star rings understood.
The Incursean is finished.
Going against the Sakaar Empire has clearly come to no good end.
With the destruction of the Incursean Empire, and the Kree Empire and Skrull Empire having long since fled in the chaos, the major cosmic empires have become a laughing stock.
From then on, only the Sakaar Empire was able to dominate the universe.
Milleous was utterly despondent.
He feared that Attea had also died in the gunfire.
Fortunately, the landing spaceship opened quickly, Ben pulled Attea out and threw her on the ground.
Milleous immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
Although Attea smokes, drinks, gets perms (no), and even wanted to kill her own father, they were still a loving and filial family.
"Chief Security Officer!"
Bill removed his Divine Hammer and respectfully accepted the gift.
"Bill, prepare the treatment pods." Ben then carried Felicia and Looma off the spaceship.
"How could Looma be injured like this?" Caiera exclaimed in surprise.
Her relationship with Looma was extraordinary, and she was the one who knew Luma's fighting abilities best.
Aside from losing to Ben, Looma rarely loses in one-on-one battles.
She glared at Attea, convinced that the Incursean must have used underhanded tactics to defeat Looma.
Attea immediately frowned and scolded, "Why are you looking at me? I'm the one who saved her!"
"If I hadn't discovered their distress signal, they would probably be dead in space by now!"
