Collision Crisis (My Ring Finger and Pinky Are Numb, Not Sure Why)
Actually, there are still some differences.
Ultimate Form was a module invented by Azmuth; perhaps he once considered artificially assisting certain races in completing their evolution.
But perhaps because Ultimate Form would bring a million years of suffering to the selected genes, or perhaps because he felt that human intervention in evolution was too arrogant, he ultimately abandoned Ultimate Form.
In contrast, the White Light Event triggered by the New Cosmic Structure did not have to endure the worst environment of a million years; it was more like a deus ex machina, randomly bestowing upon someone a power sufficient to serve as a precursor.
The chosen object is not fixed; it could be you or someone else.
In terms of strength, the latter is clearly more powerful.
However, the occurrence of White Light Event is not without cost; at least each one results in the deaths of thousands of people, which is unavoidable.
If you don't evolve, you'll die.
This is equally brutal in the face of Ultimate Form and the New Cosmic Structure. Or rather, it is simply the way nature is.
Perhaps Ben wasn't as noble as Azmuth; even under the influence of the Enigma Force, he still accepted the technology of the New Cosmic Structure and the machine that the Builders had spent millions of years creating.
Finally, the matter on the Beast Ring side is over.
One meeting led to the complete annihilation of two great empires. Although the Kree Empire still exists (in name only, having been usurped by Highbreed), its influence has plummeted.
Everyone knows that the balance of power among several major empires, which had existed for hundreds of millions of years, has been altered.
Of course, the Heavenly Guild does not mean that it controls the entire universe.
The universe is still very deep; no one knows where a great god might emerge, or where some ambitious person might be hiding.
Ben left the miscellaneous tasks to Caiera as usual.
With Luck and Gamora assisting her, along with artificial intelligence, there's no need to worry about her being overwhelmed.
Bill and Brunnhilde, along with the Galactic Plumbers, gradually took over the original territories of Incursean and the Skrull.
As for himself, he returned to Earth, which he had always been loyal to.
"It feels like I've been away for a long time," Ben remarked.
"It's not just a feeling, it's truly been a long time," Eunice said. "Peter's even in college now."
"Such a thing is true?"
Ben suddenly felt suffocated.
Nobody reminded him to write an application to university. What if he ends up without even a university degree?
"No, I didn't even collect my high school diploma!"
Ben's face darkened; he felt like he'd been tricked by capital.
How can someone who doesn't even have a high school diploma find a job and work like a slave?
What? I am capital myself?
That's alright then.
"Don't worry, there's nothing money can't buy in this country," Eunice laughed. "Or are you planning to experience university life?"
"The job of a college student is fine, but college life is out of the question." Ben immediately shook his head.
I'm already a cosmic overlord, why would I still be in school?
This school must be incredibly awesome!
"How are Felicia and Looma?" Eunice had also heard about the attack on them.
"It's all over now," Ben said.
He later realized that the one who attacked Looma and Felicia was the Builders, and that Attea had actually saved their lives.
"Actually, I came back mainly because of the collision incident," Ben said.
He had initially thought the collision might be related to Maltruant, but now it seemed that was not the case.
Maltruant was powerful, but far from enough to deter the Builders from even making a suggestion.
Eunice's expression turned serious.
The report from the supervisor stated, "The collisions are intensifying."
Since the first Collision Crisis, there have actually been five Collision Crisis.
At first, Tony and the others struggled with their inner demons, but now they've become somewhat numb.
They were very lucky on their first try.
That was a lifeless Earth, but their luck wasn't so good on subsequent occasions.
When the third collision crisis occurred, the other universe was completely unaware, but that universe had Illuminati, and they discovered a second Earth in the sky.
"T'Challa wanted to save some people, and everyone agreed to that proposal," Eunice said.
Even Tony and Otto weren't truly so cold-blooded as to be completely indifferent to life in another world.
However, their good intentions were not appreciated by the Illuminati.
As Eunice spoke, she led Ben to Wakanda, Ben reunited with his friends.
"Honestly, it's more comfortable here than in space." Ben relaxed on the sofa and continued listening to them recount what had happened earlier.
Nobody noticed.
T'Challa said.
"The collision of the two Earths occurred in a secret space above Wakanda. This untold war has been raging for a long time, and we have destroyed five Earths with our own hands."
There was no sadness in his expression.
Tony, on the other hand, wore a self-deprecating expression.
"Perhaps we were too arrogant."
"On one hand, I'm thinking about blowing up someone else's planet, and on the other hand, I'm thinking about saving as many people as possible... And now I finally realize how venomous my own mouth is," he said, shaking his head.
T'Challa explained, "One of the members of the Illuminati is him from that universe."
He said, "No wonder he's a renowned Arms Dealer; he even gave evacuation notices before bombing someone's home. How noble! The Nobel Peace Prize should go to Mr. Stark!"
He repeated it.
Ben could practically picture Stark from another universe saying those words with a smirk on his face, his mustache inevitably uneven, making you want to slap him.
As expected of Tony, when he gets ruthless he even curses himself.
And it also fits Tony's personality.
It may not be very insulting, but it can be very damaging.
"Don't blame yourself. This isn't a war about justice, but a war of positions," Ben comforted him. "Every so often, species on Earth go extinct because of humans. We try to save them, but we can't choose to perish so they can survive."
Everyone understands the principle.
"Don't try to comfort me, I was already prepared," Tony said.
"But seriously, now that things are over in space, shouldn't Norman Osborn bring the Thunderbolts back? We're short-handed here; we almost messed things up once. Luckily Eunice brought those brother and sister over."
Tony looked embarrassed.
He was saved by Pietro.
That was about the fifth Collision Crisis, which happened a few weeks ago.
The opposite universe had clearly also experienced a collision event, and they came prepared. During the eight-hour buffer period before the collision, they fought a battle with the Avengers on the other side!
That was a fully prepared and at-your-prime Avengers.
Hulk, Thor, the Witch, and even Doctor Strange.
"But not Barton."
T'Challa remembered that Ben had mentioned before that Hawkeye was essential for going to war, so he made a special mention of it.
In short, the opposing team had a strong lineup, but lacked a marksman, so our team won by a narrow margin.
Hawkeye!
A man who always wins when he starts a team fight!
"Everyone, I'm afraid now is not the time for you to chat and reminisce." Shuri, resembling a black monkey, walked in carrying a tablet, looking worried. "The instruments have detected spatial fluctuations again; a new collision is about to begin. And..."
She looked up and glanced at the crowd.
"There are two this time!"
