Highbreed find this hard to accept.

Within his noble body flowed the blood of a lowly creature.

But it was precisely their blood that allowed them to survive and even solve the problem of genetic breakdown.

With the hope of the race's continuation right before his eyes, he had absolutely no idea what to do.

In fact.

This is the gift that the Cosmic Cube gives to Highbreed.

The moment he entered the Cube, the Cube knew his wish, and that was the answer the Cube gave.

Otherwise, if it's just a blood transfusion, even blood from the same species might not be a match, let alone from different species.

Genetic breakdown is not something that can be easily resolved.

Highbreed knew nothing about this.

At that time, he was tormented by two voices within him: one of pride and dignity, the other of the continuation of his race and life; one of conscience, the other of sin.

In the end, he couldn't bring himself to kill the old man and the child, but he chose to leave alone, exiling himself with his filthy blood.

But for some reason, after he left them, the Highbreed found himself easily walking out of that boundless forest.

But what awaited him ahead was an even more vast and terrifying scorching desert.

He was afraid of the heat.

Just as moths fear flames, the Highbreed race is better adapted to cold environments.

High temperatures will cause their bodies to dehydrate rapidly, eventually turning them into shriveled corpses.

But he didn't turn around.

Self-exile is itself a form of self-torture.

He felt he was atoning for the defilement of his noble bloodline, and perhaps the scorching sun should bake away the base blood within him.

He became severely dehydrated.

The wound that should have healed reopened, causing his arm to wither and shrivel, like a moth that had been stuck in a window crack for a long time.

He collapsed under the scorching sun.

After Ben, with his two Winter Soldier, found the elderly Steve (Steve from the Hydra universe) and the young Steve (Steve from Ben's universe) and took them away, he discovered the dying Highbreed in the desert.

After learning what had happened from the Cosmic Cube, Ben decided to save his life.

He used the functions of the Little Broken Watch to fuse the genetic code of the Swampfire with the genes of Highbreed.

The Swampfire's regenerative power healed the Highbreed's injuries and also freed him from the fear of high temperatures.

But the Highbreed felt it was even worse.

Originally, there was only a little blood in its body, but now even its chromosomes have changed to resemble someone else's, and its body is covered with green Spot.

How is this any different from a white man waking up to find he's turned black?

In his case, even if he returned to his tribe, he would still be drowned in a pig cage.

Thinking about this, he transformed into this listless, dreamless person.

Ignore him.

Ben waved his hand and pressed the launch button for the Annihilation Missile.

Inside the red alternate dimension.

The approaching Earth burst into bloom like fireworks.

And so, in the blink of an eye, the two collapsing universes brushed past each other again.

The Collision Crisis Collision Crisis finally over, but the next one is on the way.

"One day we'll be exhausted from dealing with this," Tony sighed.

"We can only hope that Thor and Loki can bring us good news." Ben turned his gaze to Otto.

"What happened to the tower of the Highbreed?"

"All the tall towers on Earth have been toppled, except for the last one," Otto said.

"Connorson was originally planning to infiltrate with the Winter Soldier, but you took the Winter Soldier away, so he had to act on his own. But the result wasn't ideal; the temperature in that tower was lower than elsewhere, and Connorson's physical functions were reduced to an extremely low level."

"The infiltration failed?"

No, not at all.

Otto shook his head.

"But he's out of contact."

Otto recounted the situation.

After Ben took the Winter Soldier away, Otto and Norman hoped he would be careful, but Connorson still took the risk and went into the tower on his own initiative.

Everything went smoothly at first.

He infiltrated using his human form and encountered little resistance.

Later, he discovered a wormhole inside the tower and deduced that the Highbreed ' lair was on the other side of the wormhole. So he ventured out alone and ended up losing contact.

"There shouldn't be any technical malfunction in our communications. The only reason we can't contact Dr. Connors is that the communications have been compromised."

Ben.

If nothing unexpected happens, Connorson has likely been captured.

"The person we're looking for has changed."

"Can't we use the Cube you got?" Felicia asked.

Previously, Natasha only wished to bring back the real Steve, but both universes' Steve Rogers were pulled into the Cube.

"It's not that simple."

Ben shook his head.

"Once outside its original universe, the Cube is no longer omnipotent."

This is actually somewhat similar to the Infinity Stones, but also different.

The Cube has only lost its omnipotent power, but it still possesses Infinity energy.

"What should we do then?"

Peter asked, "We can't just leave Dr. Connors in danger."

He said urgently, "I can organize a team to rescue him."

"It's not that complicated."

Ben picked up the Cosmic Cube, walked up to the dejected Highbreed, and said, "Let's make a trade."

"Stop your self-destructive expansion. I can fix the genetic defects of your Highbreed race. In exchange, you must stop your current behavior and return all the people you have replaced."

"Hehe..."

"Didn't you say the Cosmic Cube was useless?" The Highbreed looked up at him.

"It's useless, but it's useful!"

Ben raised his right hand.

"Using the Cube's Infinity energy, the power of Onmitrix can be spread throughout the entire universe. I can heal your race just as I healed you."

"It's meaningless."

The Highbreed shook his head.

"To let the genes of those inferior life forms pollute our bloodline? Dream on!"

He roared.

"We would rather die than tarnish our bloodline!"

Ben asked, "Do you really think other races are inferior?"

"What?"

"You saw it in that forest too. Earthlings may have short lifespans and weak bodies, but their will is incredibly strong. And you are by no means perfect beings. If it weren't for them, you would already be dead."

The Highbreed were speechless.

The two Steve did change his perspective on other life forms.

A life that should have been fragile, like a bubble, instead fought tenaciously with him until the very end, and even saved his life.

He, too, can get hurt, and he has things he fears. In extreme environments, he may also lose his will and be unable to persevere.

Even the act of destruction itself was far from noble.

To be honest, it was more out of arrogance and jealousy.

"Perhaps you are right," the Highbreed said sadly, "Our arrogance destroyed us. But I know it's useless to admit it; the other members of our race will not agree."

"They have no choice."

Ben sneered.

If I give you a way out, you should take it honestly.

He's been busy with this and that lately and is feeling quite tired; he's not in the mood to mess around with the Highbreed.

This is a notification, not a discussion, much less a request.

He placed the Cube on top of the watch, and the watch began to consume the Cube's energy.

In an instant, the watch's energy was fully charged for three days.

Now it can blow up the entire universe anytime, anywhere!
