It failed again!

Enraged, the Ram Knight detonated an entire block, instantly killing tens of thousands of people.

Just after Peter's transformation cooldown ended, Peter used the power of Gravattack to reverse the situation, leading everyone to escape the Rebel Army base and disappear without a trace.

"We've failed again. I'm afraid the High Evolutionary Lord won't let us off so easily this time."

Mrs. Fulmin said in fear.

She seemed to be talking to herself, but in reality, she was also testing the Ram Knight's intentions.

Returning empty-handed like this, the High Evolutionary will probably treat them as scrap and recycle them into a small truck.

Should I obediently go back and accept my punishment, or simply run away?

Mrs. Fulmin wanted to consult with the Ram Knight's plan.

But the Ram Knight seemed to have no intention of communicating; with a gloomy face, he turned and left.

That's not the direction of Wonderdale Castle.

As Mrs. Fulmin watched his departing figure, she made her decision.

Whether she returned or went back, she would die; they were both destined to die. Mrs. Fulmin, however, preferred to die beside the man she loved.

After the thought flashed through her mind, the rat under her wings twitched its nose, sniffing for Spider-Man's scent as it began its search.

On the other side, the Ram Knight who had left was burning with immense rage.

That darn Spider-Man!

That wretched Galactic Plumbers!

Despicable humans!

Damn High Evolutionary!

They're all a hateful bunch!

Why do those guys dare to oppose me? Why should I be subject to the constraints of the High Evolutionary? Why should I obey his orders?

Just because he is the creator?

The Ram Knight thought angrily.

Every bone in his body is rebellious.

What about the Creator?

God created humankind; does that mean humankind must obey God's commands in everything?

Ridiculous!

In terms of wisdom, I, the Ram Knight, have long surpassed the High Evolutionary!

I am the true superior being!

"I completely agree with your idea, Ram Knight." At that moment, a voice rang in his ear.

The ram stopped abruptly, looked down, and saw a human smiling at him from the shadows of the city.

"Humans?" The ram's voice betrayed undisguised disgust.

He didn't even recognize Rampage Ben's identity. Although he had met him at the Rebel Army base not long ago, Ram Knight hadn't paid any attention to such an unknown soldier.

"Not an ordinary human being."

Rampage Ben raised his wrist.

You should recognize this, right?

"This watch!"

The Ram Knight was so excited that he fell off his chariot, his two ram legs practically hopping to Rampage Ben's feet.

"Spider-Man's watch? How do you have it? No, it's different! Yours is far more exquisite!"

"Of course, mine is the genuine article."

Rampage Ben laughed.

He managed to remove the nanolock from the watch.

However, without Omnitrix, it remains unstable.

Rampage Ben's next plan didn't allow him to act rashly, so he decided to cooperate with Ram Knight.

"This watch is locked into my genes. Even if you kill me, you can't get it; it will only cause it to self-destruct."

Rampage Ben immediately saw through Ram Knight's idea.

What do you want to do?

"We can cooperate."

"Cooperate, with you? A human?" The Ram Knight was full of contempt.

"Our enemies are the same, Lord Ram. Spider-Man, the Galactic Plumbers, and your self-important creator. Don't you want to prove that your intelligence far surpasses his?"

Rampage Ben raised his wrist and slowly walked towards him.

The core of the watch, imbued with alien power, was now exposed before the Ram Knight's eyes; he could practically smell the scents of hundreds of different creatures.

How wonderful!

How absolutely stunning!

It's simply a masterpiece!

The person who invented this watch possessed wisdom that surpassed that of ordinary people.

"What is the price?"

"You can study it all you want, but I only need one thing, the one you've seen, a black box, which I call the Annihilarg," Rampage Ben whispered.

"Annihilarg?"

The Ram Knight certainly remembered this.

At the time, the High Evolutionary thought that thing was just a toy made up by those two fools, and threw it in the trash.

Now it seems that even if that thing wasn't as powerful as they said, it was indeed a terrifying weapon.

"Can."

The Ram Knight agreed without hesitation.

Even knowing how terrible the Annihilarg was, the ram still agreed to the exchange.

That weapon was meaningless to him.

He couldn't possibly kill others to bury himself and the planet in the process.

Besides, holding that thing in his hand wouldn't demonstrate his superior intelligence. On the contrary, if he obtained that watch, he would possess power comparable to the High Evolutionary.

That's what he needs.

As for what Rampage Ben was going to do with the bomb, he didn't care.

As long as the other side doesn't detonate it on this planet.

"However, the Annihilarg is in the castle, and if we're lucky, it might not have been sent to the junkyard yet," he said. "And to enter the castle, I need enough power to contend with High Evolutionary."

"So,"

His sheep-like eyes, with their square pupils, stared at Rampage Ben, as if a greedy demon were looking directly into his Soul Stone.

"I need you to give me the watch first!"

"You want genes that rival the High Evolutionary, which is perfectly reasonable, but I won't give you the watch directly. I'll match your genes, and once I get the Annihilarg, I'll have the watch completely lock onto your genes."

"Rampage Ben said."

"Can!"

The two hit it off immediately.

"Call--"

Inside Dr. Naoko's clinic, Peter leaned against the wall and let out a long sigh of relief.

"We finally escaped."

"Hey Spider-Man, you can't treat this place like your headquarters," Naoko, looking at the room crammed with members of the Galactic Plumbers. "It'll put me and Saiyan in danger."

"It's alright, Mom," Saiyan said.

He hoped so, hoping it would offer some small assistance to those brave people who resisted the orcs.

However, among so many people, he immediately spotted the Green Goblin.

This monster seemed very familiar to him.

The Green Goblin dared not show its face, hiding it inside its wings.

"I've already paid the rent, remember, Naoko?" Peter joked.

He knew this was wrong, of course, but he was at a loss for what to do.

"The ram blew up an entire street because it couldn't catch you. What if they find out you're with me?" Naoko wished she hadn't taken any money.

"She's right, Spider-Man, we shouldn't involve them," the Green Goblin said cautiously. "If—"

Before he could finish speaking, Harry immediately lowered his voice and said, "Don't speak, someone's coming!"

In an instant, the entire clinic was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Only when that translucent shadow passed through the wall did everyone's anxiety finally subside.

"Mrs. Fulmin!"

"Don't do anything, gentlemen, I'm not here to cause trouble," Furmin said quickly.

"Really? Perhaps you've forgotten that just ten minutes ago, we were engaged in a heated battle in the sewers," Peter sarcastically.

Mrs. Fulmin did not deny it. "Yes, but things are different now."

"My mission failed. The High Evolutionary will kill me, so there's no need for me to continue working for him." She walked affectionately to Peter's side. The Spider-Sense hadn't triggered, but Peter felt a chill that was even more intense than the Spider-Sense.

He heard Mrs. Fulmin say in a shrill voice:

"I'd rather die with the man I love, Spider-Man."
