Kraven the Hunter
Harry swears this is the funniest thing that's happened since Ben had his baby.
His best friend was confessed to by a white-haired mouse.
"I never realized you were this popular at school," he muttered sarcastically, elbowing Peter.
"Jealous?"
Peter said irritably, "If Connors had gone easy on you, she could have introduced you to her bear best friend."
There's absolutely no need for that.
Harry declined.
"Alright, kids, be more mature." Connors was already awake.
He wasn't actually injured; he was simply forced into hibernation due to the cold, which caused his bodily functions to decline.
"First of all, welcome to the company, Mrs. Fulmin." He forgave the past.
Mrs. Fulmin clung to Spider-Man, giving him a friendly smile. Most of the people in the room didn't seem to have much ill will towards Mrs. Fulmin.
Besides the Green Goblin, the Vulture, and the Saiyan, who also live on this planet.
Then, Connors asked, "Ms. Naoko, you said Otto and the others have already gone to Wonderdale Castle, is that right?"
"Yes."
Naoko, whose name was mentioned, hugged Saiyan's head and replied, "After Karen and the others handed you over to me, they said they had more important things to do, so I sent Mantis to help them."
Upon hearing the name, the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy all jumped up.
"Mantis?"
"Is she with you?"
Star-Lord quickly asked, and seeing her nod, the group breathed a sigh of relief.
"That's good," Drax said. "She's too naive; I was worried she'd be scammed."
Are you stupid?
Everyone wanted to complain, but they held back. Arguing with Drax was unwise; he'd drag you down to his level of intelligence, then use his vast experience to defeat and belittle you.
"It's been a long time since they left, but the diffusion device hasn't activated. We'd better assume they've failed."
"Connors said in a deep voice."
Peter nodded in agreement. "The doctor is right. The power of the High Evolutionary is terrifying. Even the Gravattack's gravity field was crushed by his force field. And he is definitely even stronger now."
"Wait," Harry interrupted abruptly, pulling a communicator from his waist.
"News from Flash."
"Tiger King has joined our ranks, Blumley and Kit are activating the device, and the Doctor and the others are dealing with the High Evolutionary." Harry immediately put away his communicator and said, "We'd better act immediately and support them."
"It's probably too late."
"The Green Goblin said in a shrill voice."
His gaze fell upon the towering structure more than ten kilometers away, where a massive explosion was ignited at its tip.
The flames and thick smoke resembled flashing signal lights on the sea.
"The battle has begun."
The towering top.
The wind howled.
Blumley and Kit fought their way through orc soldiers and robots before finally arriving here.
"Sizzle--"
As a disk flew out, the last orc soldier collapsed in agony.
Blumley showed no mercy to the orcs, immediately maximizing the poison's intensity.
Not to mention the orcs, even his own brother, he didn't hold back when they met for the second time, knocking him down heavily.
"These are the last weapons we have."
He let out a long breath, and the fatigue on his face was clearly visible.
Before they parted ways, the weapons Otto had given him from the Galactic Plumbers were all used up; without them, he and Kit would never have been able to get here.
Now all they need to do is install the equipment, and their mission is complete.
Hopefully, they can successfully rescue Karen.
As Blumley was carrying the equipment toward the lightning rod at the top of the tower, a violent explosion came from beneath his feet, causing him and Kit to stumble and nearly fall.
Kit quickly lay down on the edge of the castle and looked down; thick, scalding smoke billowed towards him.
Are they alright?
He wanted to ask, but Kit wouldn't speak.
Blumley was about to offer some words of comfort when a deep voice said, "Instead of worrying about them, worry about yourselves."
"Who?"
Blumley and Kit quickly turned around, only to see a strong figure suddenly appear at the top of the tower.
The shadow was covered in savage feathers, looking like a hunter from a primitive Africa tribe.
"I'm just a hunter."
Kraven looked at the two men before him, a playful, teasing glint in his eyes.
"The High Evolutionary wants me to deal with you two?"
He drew his dagger and crouched down like a lion or tiger.
Blumley and Kit immediately felt as if they were facing a formidable enemy.
"Whoosh!"
Kraven lunged forward, his dagger flashing white in the darkness, severing a thick metal pipe in a single stroke!
Blumley and Kit scrambled away, narrowly escaping the attack, and were terrified.
"What a sharp blade!"
"And his movements... are definitely not something an ordinary person could do! A superhuman?"
Blumley had a guess in his mind, and at the same time became even angrier.
"With such formidable skills, you actually work for the High Evolutionary! You traitor to humanity!"
"Mistake."
Kraven shook his head. "I work for money! Whoever pays the highest price, I'll kill for them!"
"The heads of you Rebel Army are worth a lot of money!"
He licked the dagger and laughed greedily.
Kit's bandages came undone, preparing for battle, and Blumley was also ready to fight to the death.
"We can't miss the opportunity that the Plumbers have created for us!"
A few minutes ago.
Inside the laboratory of High Evolutionary.
The High Evolutionary strapped Karen to the testing table and began examining Karen body.
He was very satisfied with the result.
The experimental results from more than a decade ago have not been erased by the passage of time.
Karen's genes are like a blank slate, capable of perfectly integrating the genes of any species.
This was something the High Evolutionary itself craved, but its genes were already set, and only Karen, who was born that year, could achieve it.
"Karen, my granddaughter, you will be my most perfect creation!"
Karen remained silent, only glaring at him with hatred.
She had no idea about her origins before, and now that she did, she felt no pride, only shame for her bloodline.
"High Evolutionary, remember this: no matter what changes you make to my body, no matter how terrifying a monster you turn me into, you will not succeed. Because I will never be your slave!"
I'm a human being, not a monster like you!
The High Evolutionary was not angry. Instead, he calmly said, "Child, I don't blame you for having such thoughts. It's because your human nature makes you incapable of rational thinking."
"But once you transcend this pathetic species, your mind will see through the truth of this world."
