Clark Kent established the Galactic Plumbers in Metropolis while Ben prepared a journey through the Multiverse. Maltruant planned to use the Nemetrix to investigate a dangerous timeline, and Ben’s team prepared to land in another world.

• Clark accepted spies into the Galactic Plumbers after Ben told him to judge them by their actions, while Bruce Wayne and Barry Allen watched from the crowd and Orm arrived with an Atlantean delegation.
• Ben used two Mother Boxes to transform the Time and Space Wheel into a key and open a passage beyond universal space.
• He Who Remains Kang urged Maltruant to contain the timeline crisis, but Maltruant proposed directing doomed timelines toward the unstable universe to provoke a limited Multiverse war.
