Inheritors Attack, Gwen Under Attack
With the power of the gems present, creating New Krypton is not difficult.
After dealing with Thanos's Soul Stone, Nebula immediately pulled a much fatter Gamora along to help Ben choose suitable planets and stars.
After Ben pulled the planet into the Abyss, he immediately began to terraform it.
Faora, Jax, and the other two last Kryptonian were fortunate enough to witness this magnificent scene. In their original minds, terraforming a planet was simply a matter of activating the Genesis Engine and reversing the planet's atmosphere and gravity.
But Ben showed them what true power is.
With a single move, Gravattack mastered universal gravitation, one of the four fundamental forces of the universe. With a flick of his hand, the gravity of stars and planets was restrained, and everything proceeded in an orderly manner according to the orbits calculated by Ben.
Then, with a casual gesture, he gathered dust in the atmosphere, forming a moon-sized satellite that orbited the New Krypton like a guardian.
And just like that, New Krypton was born.
"It makes me feel like Joker." Jax recalled how his group had planned to attack Earth, only to encounter the Ben, fight with all their might but fail to defeat them, and in the end, Zod died without even seeing Earth. He couldn't help but feel like it was all a joke.
"I have created a barrier between the New Krypton and the Null Void Realm, to prevent the harsh environment of the Abyss and the prisoners from disturbing you."
Ben deactivated his transformation and picked up the gem.
In fact, Faora really wanted to say that the harsh environment of the Null Void Realm was nothing to them. After being strengthened by the power of the sun, their physical strength was also rapidly increasing, and they were no longer as attached to the environment as before.
But then she thought, since the environment could be better, why not?
Moreover, the prisoners in the Null Void Realm will indeed be a problem in the future.
After isolating New Krypton from the outside world, Ben took the three of them into the planet's atmosphere aboard a Time and Space Wheel.
At this moment, the environment of this planet is still extremely harsh. Extensive crustal activity has caused various toxic gases to diffuse in the air. The air temperature has exceeded 100 degrees Celsius, the sky looks reddish, and the land is covered with scorched red soil, resembling the desolate Gobi Desert in the northwest.
A dead star devoid of life.
Even if Ben has adapted the planet's environment to conditions conducive to life, it would likely take trillions of years, plus some chance, for the first single-celled organism to emerge naturally.
However, with the intervention of the Ben, things are completely different.
He took out the Reality Stone.
The next moment, on this desolate land, a blood-red river spread out, and new cities rose up one after another. In the blink of an eye, a city appeared before everyone's eyes.
"This is simply a miracle!"
Jax's eyes widened.
He had never seen such a sight in all his years of life; to be able to alter reality with a single thought was practically a godlike ability.
But just as he was about to reach out and touch the exquisite buildings, Ben stopped him.
"These are all just illusions," Ben said. "The Reality Stone only distorts your senses, making you feel that everything before you is real, but that's not actually the case. To truly alter reality, you need energy to support it."
In reality, this is Ben can do without transforming.
However, if it were any of those enhanced Alien Hero, they could use the power of the gems to instantly change the reality of the entire planet.
Before the Infinity Stones form an Infinity Circuit, the extent of their power depends on the user's own strength.
The Space Stone's energy erupted at this moment, becoming the energy source for the Reality Stone. The Aether Particle instantly shone with an even more dazzling light. At this moment, matter began to decompose and recombine, and a brand new city was indeed born.
But that's all.
In reality, Ben could have used the energy of the gems or transformed himself to completely transform the planet in one step, but he didn't do so. If he were to arrange everything for the Kryptonian, it would actually be detrimental to Krypton's development.
When the newborn Kryptonian grow up and create and change the world with their own hands, they will have a deeper affection for their new homeland.
This is something Ben has always been doing.
He is the King of Sakaar and the master of the Galactic Plumbers, but he never manages to arrange everything in the Galactic Plumbers perfectly.
If he were to do that, then everything from Primus, Earth, and Krypton to the Galactic Plumbers, and even the smallest incidents in the Nine Realms would come to him, leaving him with nothing else to do.
A new city has been built in the desert. This technologically advanced city stands out so abruptly in this environment. The towering buildings rise and fall majestically, mostly obscured by sand and dust, yet they still radiate the light of civilization, like the last hope in the wasteland.
Ben then activated its energy passport, isolating it from the harsh environment that was still undergoing tremendous changes.
Now the city is much cleaner.
Then he put away the gem, his fingers twirling on the Little Broken Watch a few times, and suddenly it transformed into Solarstorm.
At the same time, the Codex containing the genes of all Kryptonian was also materialized by Little Broken Watch Ben to his wishes.
"Let's go to the Life Incubation Room."
The Life Incubation Room is located inside the Time and Space Wheel. There are intertwined vines with lanterns that look like fruits on them. The entire incubation chamber is soaked in nutrient solution. From a distance, it looks like a large cluster of wisteria flowers or a bunch of grapes. In reality, it is an artificial womb that nurtures new life.
The nutrients in the liquid have already been lost.
Ben first had them empty the culture medium that had expired tens of thousands of years ago, then replaced it with new culture medium that had been prepared on Sakaar. Then he went alone to the deepest part of the planet and twisted the Codex in his hand together with every pipe that delivered nutrients to nourish life.
"Then comes gene editing."
The New Krypton need freedom, but he still needs to personally write the genetic code for the first batch of Kryptonian.
Gender, occupation, talent... encompassing all the components of a society is a massive undertaking. Fortunately, the artificial intelligence Azmuth can assist him in completing most of the genetically similar parts. He only needs to differentiate them and leave a fundamental code for all genes: loyalty to the Galactic Plumbers and loyalty to himself.
Undoubtedly, natural reproduction will bring tremendous possibilities to the New Krypton in the future, both good and bad.
When life develops a strong sense of autonomy, there will always be some extreme and rebellious beings.
Ben isn't naive enough to believe that all Kryptonian are good people.
"The Kryptonian ' power is too great; it must be limited."
If Zod heard this, he would definitely put on a pose as if the Nine-Tails was being held in Hashirama.
Say it again: whose power is too great?
Ben programmed this code without telling anyone present, but none of the three people, including Jax, had any objections; in their view, it was the most basic thing.
With the Yellow Sun, the Kryptonian essentially have Infinity potential. One or two people would be one thing, but a whole race of Superman here could easily sweep across the universe. Moreover, this place is inside the Knowhere. If a traitor were to raise his arms and lead countless Kryptonian to repay kindness with enmity, the situation would be far too chaotic.
Despite Krypton's many flaws, one thing is absolutely certain: there was no one who truly betrayed Krypton.
Loyalty!
No need for further explanation!
With the underlying code complete, the rest of the program could be run by Azmuth. Ben was freed up to revive the Vulture race in the Vulpimancer Alien Beast Null Void Realm, and also to replicate the alien genes from the Little Broken Watch for use by the No-Watch Ben.
"The replicated Alien Hero's genes are just a blank slate. Should we add an Ultimate Form plugin to increase their combat power?"
Ben stroked his chin and began to think.
Replicating the Little Broken Watch in a short time, even just the basic functions, is not a simple task. Adding the Ultimate Form plugin makes it even more complicated.
But if he didn't have it, for some reason, he always had an uneasy feeling. The long-lost Spider-Sense made him a little uneasy, but it wasn't exactly dangerous.
"Could it be due to Multiverse Collision crisis?"
Ben has no clue yet, but in other universes, a brutal hunt has been going on for centuries and is only getting worse.
That's why the Spider Totem on his body, which he usually wouldn't even dare to utter a sound, was faintly sending signals, trying to tell him:
The slaughter has begun!
--
Parallel Universe, Earth-65.
Above the otherwise flat and uneven New York City sky, a slender pink and white figure, like an elf, glided through the buildings, attracting many passersby to stop and watch with excitement.
Behind her, the urgent sirens followed closely.
Perhaps some people have forgotten who I am.
As Gwen gracefully swung through the air like a ballerina, she patiently recited the classic opening lines of every Spider-Man movie:
"Alright, let's do it again." She lightly stepped onto the eaves of the building, leaped, and did a 365° mid-air spin to dodge darts and bullets that came from the shadows.
"My name is Gwen Stacy. I was bitten by an irradiated spider, and for the next two years, I became the only Spider-Woman. But I couldn't save my best friend Peter Parker. I was in a daze and made a mess of things until I met him."
"Ben Parker."
"A magical boy who brought me good luck."
Gwen leaped across the side of the building, covering hundreds of meters in a few steps like a butterfly. She kicked the glass of the building, sending several the Hand ninjas flying inside. Then she jumped out from the other side, flicked her wrist, and a pink energy whip shot out like a snake, binding the man with wings on his back, hundreds of meters away.
Then, she pulled her arm back in mid-air, forcefully pulling the Vulture back from its near-escape.
Several Silk shot out, instantly covering the turbines on the Vulture's wings, and then, carrying the bound Vulture, jumped from the high-rise building onto the street.
A dozen or so police cars screeched to a halt and surrounded her. Officer Stacy, wearing a police hat and brandishing a pistol, got out of one of the cars, prompting Gwen to raise her hands and act like the France Spider-Man: "Don't shoot, officer, I'm a good guy."
She swayed her willow-like body and spoke sweetly, as if she were pleading.
"You know I won't do that," Officer Stacy sighed, exasperated with her eccentric daughter.
But no matter what, Spider-Woman is still in front of him now.
"Thank you for your help, Spider-Woman. Now hand the criminal over to us."
"You damn Spider-Woman, you actually cooperated with the police!" Vulture cursed, but no one paid him any attention.
Having confirmed that Vulture was unable to resist or move, Chief Stacy put away her small pistol, walked over to Gwen, and handcuffed her. At the same time, she whispered in Gwen's ear, "Are you going home for dinner today?"
"No, the band has rehearsal today." Gwen shook her head, and kicked Vulture's butt as she did so.
But Chief Stacy didn't give up. She shoved the grumbling Vulture into the patrol car, then turned back and opened his mouth towards Gwen from a distance. He didn't make a sound, but Gwen understood his lip reading:
"It's okay, I have to work overtime too. See you tonight."
Gwen leaped lightly and returned to the top of the building.
Since her return from the Parallel Universe, Gwen has been encouraged by Ben and finally decided to take the initiative to tell Chief Stacy the truth.
Just as Ben had predicted, after a brief moment of surprise, Chief Stacy eventually accepted the fact and chose to believe Gwen.
Because of this, she no longer had to deal with the police while fighting criminals; instead, she cooperated with the police, finally achieving a balance between her life and her Super Hero career, and even her bra size increased by two sizes.
Just as you said, things will be different after I met you.
Gwen watched the police car drive away, a sweet feeling spreading through her heart, like she had eaten honey, but this honey also carried a hint of bitterness.
Her brows, which hadn't even had a chance to relax, furrowed again. Her right hand gripped tightly the pink and white Ben watch on her left wrist, and she felt a void in her heart.
"But you clearly said you were going to come find me, yet you haven't shown up for so long."
She sighed mournfully, then pretended to clench her fist and wave it in the air, thinking to herself that if Ben dared to keep her waiting too long, she would definitely make him pay next time they met!
"I'll punish him by making him hold me all night without moving! And without lifting his head!"
You have to understand, she's not the same little dumpling she used to be; teenage girls grow up very quickly.
Just as Gwen was thinking fiercely, the Spider-Sense a hairy feeling that made her Gwen. She turned around abruptly and saw a glowing passage unfold behind her, from which a figure slowly walked out.
Gwen overjoyed, thinking that her sweetheart had finally come to see her, and jumped up, but quickly realized something was wrong.
"Benny...?"
"You're not from the Benny, who are you?!"
"You can call me..." The man who walked out of the passage was tall and straight, wearing a suit, but he looked somewhat disheveled. His head was covered by yellow metal, so his appearance was not clear.
"The Inheritors!"
The Inheritors, Karn, hurled his Long Spear, but Gwen's Spider-Sense seemed to freeze, remaining completely unresponsive.
