Mo Li returned to Tempest, revealed the Eastern Empire’s coming expansion, and united five nations under protective contracts. As the world reacted to Morax’s return and Tempest’s growing power, the Western Nations united against Tempest and Rimuru prepared to explain matters to Hinata.

• At the Demon Lord Banquet, Mo Li comforted Milim, met Ramiris, and left with the group for Tempest, while Guy gave him and Rimuru Demon King's Rings.
• Chii and Velzard discussed the Eastern Empire’s plans as Mo Li arrived in Liyue City, where Tempest’s monsters welcomed him back and celebrated his return as a Demon Lord.
• At a Tempest banquet, Carrion and Freya announced that they had surrendered their Demon Lord seats to Milim and Morax, and Mo Li later summoned them to discuss the future.
• Mo Li warned Rimuru, Milim, Ramiris, Freya, and Carrion that Rudra’s Eastern Empire would expand and proposed an alliance among their five territories, which they all accepted and signed into contracts.
• Yuuki learned that Morax had returned and reconsidered rescuing Laplace, Tear, and Forthman, while Hinata learned from Luminas that Tempest had Veldora and two Demon Lords among its founders.
• The Western Nations united against Tempest after news spread of Farmus’s defeat, Veldora’s return, and Morax’s identity, while Hinata decided to visit Tempest and explain herself.
• Mo Li incorporated the Puppet Kingdom into the Jura Great Forest under Rimuru’s governance, and Carrion discussed trade with Rimuru and sparred with Mo Li.
• Rimuru worried that Mo Li’s territorial merger broke their rules, but Mo Li said Guy would accept it and that he could explain in person.

Tempest faced Hinata’s invasion while Rimuru fought her and Mo Li completed Shizue’s resurrection. After Luminas and Guy intervened, Hinata’s fate became a matter of negotiation, ending with her accepting Mo Li’s martial challenge to earn her freedom.

• Mo Li decided Myulan would serve Shuna for life and expelled Yum and Grusius from Tempest with their memories and powers sealed.
• Diablo secured compensation from Falmuth, while Hinata’s meeting with the Ten Great Saints led her to choose reconciliation and travel to Tempest.
• Mo Li began restoring Izawa Shizue as Hinata and the Holy Knights advanced, prompting Rimuru to prepare Tempest for war.
• Rimuru and Tempest’s forces fought Hinata and the Holy Knights, and Rimuru defeated Hinata after surviving her final attack.
• Luminas arrived as the Holy Knights lay dead or dying, and Diablo agreed to their resurrection in exchange for compensation and assurances against further attacks.
• Mo Li arrived after completing Shizue’s resurrection, upheld Hinata’s contract with Rimuru, and stood down when Guy asked him to spare Luminas.

Mo Li defeated Hinata in their sword duel but declared her the winner, leading to her reunion with Shizue and the end of the Holy-Demon War. As the Federation prepared its Founding Festival, powerful guests gathered, Masayuki’s challenge loomed, and Mo Li began discussing a deal with Guy.

• Mo Li fought Hinata Sakaguchi, who used her life force for a final strike before collapsing, and declared that she had won, and Luminas healed Hinata and reunited her with Izawa Shizue.
• Rimuru and Luminas negotiated an end to the Holy-Demon War, with the Holy Imperial Nation recognizing the Federation and agreeing to substantial compensation.
• Veldora and Azhdaha battled in the Great Underground Labyrinth, and Azhdaha accepted his defeat and asked Mo Li to help him awaken as a Demon Lord.
• Shion defeated Dagruel’s three sons, who then agreed to train under her, while Kouyou signed treaties for the Long-Nose Tribe and reunited with Old Man White.
• Masayuki’s companions turned his escort mission into a supposed campaign against Rimuru and Mo Li, so Rimuru proposed a tournament to settle the challenge during the Founding Festival.
• Rimuru and Mo Li welcomed a stream of guests to the festival, including Hinata, Luminas, Yuuki, Emilia, Milim, Leon, Dagruel, Dino, and Guy with Velzard.

The Founding Festival brought the Demon Lords together as Mo Li introduced Mora and the martial arts tournament exposed Honjo Masayuki’s connection to Rudra. After Xiao defeated Masayuki and Diablo sealed his skill, Velgrend arrived to protect him, and Velzard brought Veldora to the arena.

• Mo Li gave Guy one million human souls for Azhdaha and Xiao’s breakthroughs, then joined Rimuru to open the Founding Festival in Tempest.
• Misaki Ken'ya and the other children learned Rimuru was their teacher, reunited with Izawa Shizue, and watched Ken'ya refuse Mo Li’s offer to become his disciple.
• Guy noticed Chloe’s unusual nature, while Mo Li showed him Liyue City and the Demon Lords discussed exchanges and alliances with the Demon Country.
• Mo Li introduced Mora as the Federation’s currency, and the Demon Lords approved the plan before the martial arts tournament began.
• Honjo Masayuki drew Number Zero twice and advanced to the semifinals, while Diablo, Xiao, Old Man White, and Raine won their matches.
