Background
Pardofelis was unlocked and summoned by Senti in Lungmen, where she quickly formed a friendly rapport with Senti and Hua. Accompanied by Canned Food, she explored the city and was especially affected by the poverty and danger of its slums. She resolved to help residents within her means once she had goods and money to spare 142.
She later revealed that, after becoming conscious, she had been raised by ordinary stray cats that taught her how to find food and survive. She does not know her actual race, and ordinary cats now avoid her despite her attachment to them 197.
Her aid to the slums is deliberate rather than indiscriminate: she gathers information on residents’ needs, purchases supplies, and delivers them indirectly so that neither recipients nor investigators can easily trace the aid back to her. She also generally selects criminal organizations, stolen goods, or dubiously sourced property as theft targets, considering this part of her personal code 144.
Appearance
Pardofelis is a catgirl with prominent animal traits and mismatched eyes. Her appearance is adaptable; she changes clothes and presentation when operating undercover, and sometimes uses a cyan cat mask while interrogating or infiltrating 197 210 211.
- Heterochromatic or gradient-colored eyes 162 168
- Cat ears that twitch in response to sound or attention 147
- Long tail with a flexible, stinger-like tip 197
- Often carries or wears disguises suited to theft and surveillance work 210 211
Personality
Pardofelis is playful, opportunistic, and openly motivated by comfort, profit, and the thrill of “stocking up.” She habitually calls herself weak, pitiful, and harmless even when her actions demonstrate exceptional stealth or combat ability. She prefers avoiding trouble, but is willing to act recklessly when a target, friend, or vulnerable bystander matters to her 167 179 185.
Her morality is flexible but not absent. She avoids targets with legitimate origins when possible, helps impoverished residents, and controls her force to avoid killing during her operations. She is also candid about being neither wholly good nor truly malicious 144 195 213.
Pardofelis is considerate toward people she accepts as her own. She gives Rope food, lodging, pay, and protection despite teasing her as an underling; leaves Canned Food with Griseo for company; and avoids killing in front of Swire because she considers Swire’s feelings 155 158 186 215.
Abilities & Skills
Stealth and Infiltration
Pardofelis is an accomplished burglar capable of bypassing patrols, surveillance, locks, and guarded estates. She can enter locations such as Swire’s home, Fumizuki’s villa, and the Governor’s residence while evading detection 159 168 196.
- Uses shortcuts, blind spots, and camera avoidance instinctively 159.
- Can shake pursuers through abrupt acceleration and agile movement 171.
- Alters her outfit and appearance to blend into investigations 210.
- Cannot always overcome tightly staffed surveillance networks alone; she acknowledges needing Senti’s help for especially secure targets 165.
Out of Touch
Senti provides Pardofelis with Out of Touch, an ability she uses against people who identify or pursue her. A successful strike removes their memory of the encounter 147 148.
- Lets her erase the memories of informants and watchers who catch sight of her 148.
- Functions as a contingency rather than true invisibility; Pardofelis still needs to avoid being noticed in the first place 168.
- Its use requires direct intervention against the witness 147.
Spatial Storage
Pardofelis possesses a spatial ability that allows her to conceal, retrieve, and transport items without carrying them visibly. Swire discovers the ability after a search fails to locate stolen property on her person 198.
- Stores stolen accessories, supplies, ropes, weapons, and interrogation tools 152 211.
- Allows her to produce items unexpectedly during infiltration or questioning 211.
- Supports her “stocking up” habit and prevents conventional searches from recovering her collections 198.
Combat
Despite insisting that she is weak, Pardofelis is a dangerous close-range combatant. She moves faster than trained guards can track, spots openings in Chen’s attacks, and can overwhelm armed gang members without lethal force 189 213.
- Disarmed and subdued an Infected knife attacker with a kick and a brick 149.
- Blocked Chen’s sword barrage with twin blades and froze her accidentally during their confrontation 189.
- Uses her Divine Key to incapacitate enemies; its strikes leave victims unable to remain standing 213.
- Can slice a cargo container cleanly in half to intimidate an interrogated guard 211.
- Avoids large-scale destruction and admits that city-wide violence would take her time to accomplish 185.
Investigation and Intelligence Work
Pardofelis is observant, patient, and adept at extracting useful information. She recognizes suspicious behavior among dock workers, poses as a food-cart helper to collect rumors, and tracks criminal activity across Lungmen’s slums and port districts 210.
- Identified a smuggling operation connected to Sicily-Gambino Logistics and the G4 Area 210 211.
- Intimidated and interrogated corrupt guards and gang members for operational intelligence 211 213.
- Sends information to Swire both to aid the Guard Department and to redirect its attention away from herself 162 213.
- Infiltrated a Saltwind City church to gather intelligence on Quintus and a laboratory beneath its crypt 222.

- Canned Food — Her loyal feline companion, scout, partner, and occasional source of combat support 149 215.
Relationships
- Canned Food — Her constant feline companion. Canned Food scouts ahead, comforts her, helps with thefts, and can manifest as an enormous freezing cat in combat 149 151 215.
- Senti — Pardofelis calls her “Boss.” Senti summoned her, provides protection and Out of Touch, and assists with operations that exceed Pardofelis’s infiltration capabilities 142 147 165.
- Rope — Her employee and underling. Pardofelis recruits Rope after catching her stealing, gives her a bonus instead of reclaiming the stolen money, and later provides food, lodging, and a role in choosing their shop 154 155 215 216.
- Swire — Initially her theft victim and pursuer, later a reluctant friend and possible investor. Their relationship remains defined by banter, distrust, and mutual concern 195 197 218.

- Fumizuki — A perceptive political figure who recognizes Pardofelis’s talent. Their tense first encounter develops into a deal after Pardofelis exposes Wei Yenwu’s private stash 167 216.
- Wei Yenwu — A powerful target and opponent who repeatedly underestimates her. Pardofelis infiltrates his residence and later defeats the Black Cloak Shadow Guards he sends to ambush her 179 215.
- Mobius — A demanding employer who uses Pardofelis’s stealth and intelligence-gathering abilities for sensitive missions, including an investigation in Saltwind City 150 222.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Arrival in Lungmen and Slum Aid
After being summoned, Pardofelis explores Lungmen’s slums, learns about the residents’ hardships, and begins covertly providing supplies. At the same time, she starts “stocking up” from criminal or suspect sources to build resources and reputation 142 144.
The Lungmen Thief
Her repeated thefts from Swire and other powerful figures establish her as the Lungmen Thief. While evading the Guard Department, she intervenes in a shopping-district attack, subdues an armed Infected man, and is brought in as a witness by Chen and Hoshiguma 149 163.
Recruiting Rope and Challenging the Powerful
Pardofelis catches Rope after Rope steals her wallet, then recruits her rather than punishing her. Together, they gather information and conduct increasingly daring thefts, including operations involving Swire’s estate, Fumizuki’s villa, and Wei Yenwu’s residence 154 159 165 179.
The Dagu Square Piano Heist
Pardofelis plans and carries out the theft of a large piano from Dagu Square mall. Griseo assists by disabling the surrounding power grid, allowing Pardofelis to remove the instrument amid the blackout. The piano is later given to Eden 188 218.
G4 Port Test
During a test connected to Lungmen’s leadership, Pardofelis investigates suspicious dock activity and uncovers a smuggling operation. She interrogates a corrupt guard, disrupts a gang transaction, supplies Swire with intelligence, outmaneuvers Wei Yenwu, and helps clear the gang hideout without killing the criminals 210 211 213 215.
Settling Down and Saltwind City
After the port operation, Pardofelis and Rope choose a storefront in the slums as a home and future business. Soon afterward, Mobius sends Pardofelis to Saltwind City to investigate cult leader Quintus and the laboratory hidden below the local church 216 222.
