Background / History

Thor is Odin's son and Loki's adoptive brother; the two lived together for fifteen hundred years. Odin expected Thor to eventually succeed him as king and protect peace across the Nine Realms. 527 531

Initially arrogant and stripped of his power, Thor comes to Midgard to reclaim Mjolnir. He announces himself as the God of Thunder but fails to move the hammer, leaving him ashamed, remorseful, and in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. 528 529
