One Spirit Worm represented one magic, and this Spirit Worm represented Instantaneous Movement Magic. Not long after collecting the Devil Explosion Flower, he discovered a Magic Beast in the forest. This Magic Beast resembled a combination of a giant lizard and a rhinoceros, its silhouette bearing some resemblance to the mount Du Ke had obtained in World of Warcraft—the Kodo Beast. Thus, he named the Magic Beast Kodo Beast and coveted its magical abilities.

When he saw the Kodo Beast, it was being hunted by a pack of Wind Wolves—wolf-like Magic Beasts that could cast Wind Blades.

However, two horns, one large and one small, on its head continuously emitted a pale yellow light. Each time a Wind Blade struck, the Kodo Beast's body would be coated with an armor that looked like rock. The sturdiness of this armor rendered the Wind Blades, which could easily cut through tree roots, completely ineffective. Furthermore, the Kodo Beast wasn't limited to just this Rock Armor magic. As the light on its horns flickered, an Earth Spike would pierce through the ground and then through the bodies of the Wind Wolves.

There were over thirty Wind Wolves, a formidable force, but in a few surprise attacks with the Earth Spike Technique, seven Wind Wolves were killed on the spot, and even the largest wolf, the Wind Wolf King, was nearly hit.

Finally, the Wind Wolf King let out a long howl and led the remaining wolves to snatch their companions' corpses and quickly disappear into the depths of the dense forest.

The Kodo Beast finally relaxed. However, when it looked up, it saw an iron lump standing not far away. This was a monster it had never seen before, and it was completely out of place in the Great Blue Forest.

The Kodo Beast clearly didn't understand what sci-fi style was, but that didn't stop it from cautiously responding. It let out a warning sound towards the monster opposite it: "Bang Bang Bang!"

The iron lump opposite was naturally Du Ke. A smile played on his lips under his helmet. He then threw a cylindrical object in his hand, tossing it directly at the Kodo Beast's feet. The Kodo Beast, not understanding, quickly moved away, but the cylindrical object lay quietly on the ground, with nothing happening. Du Ke continued to throw cylindrical objects, and soon they covered the area around the Kodo Beast.

The Kodo Beast remained bewildered and deactivated its Rock Armor.

At this moment, Du Ke laughed heartily and shouted, "Sprouting Boom!"

A series of explosions erupted around and beneath the Kodo Beast. The immense power sent it flying into the air with the shockwave before it could even cast any magic. It landed heavily amidst the smoke and dust, its body no longer resembling its original form. Large and small charred chunks of flesh and flowing blood bore witness to its final moments as its life drew to a close. To ensure a clean kill, Du Ke had prepared dozens of high-explosive grenades.

The ignorant Kodo Beast fell like this.

However, Du Ke saw that it wasn't quite dead yet, its abdomen still heaving, and the light on its horns flickering intermittently. This immediately put him on high alert. He materialized the Vulcan Cannon and fired another barrage, completely finishing off the Kodo Beast.

"Done, time to pack up!"

He materialized a mountain off-road vehicle and used its winch cable to secure the Kodo Beast, which was no larger than a rhinoceros. Du Ke began his return journey. Midway, he encountered a group of Fire-breathing Golems that seemed to have emerged from nowhere, chasing after the Kodo Beast. Some even boldly jumped onto it, attempting to gnaw at its body. Du Ke simply fired wildly at the rear of the vehicle, strafing the Kodo Beast's corpse along with them.

After killing an unknown number of Fire-breathing Golems, he finally drove the group of ugly creatures away. He navigated through the terrain and returned to South Lake Sea of Flowers.

The moon rose, and the familiar world of flowers bloomed once more. The Flower Spirits emerged again.

"Du Ke."

"Xise Xise, come, give me a hand. Try performing Nature Spirit Summoning on the Kodo Beast's corpse," Du Ke said with anticipation.

Xise Xise, however, shook her head. "No, if I awaken it, the Displacer Beast Spirit will dissipate."

"What?"

"I can only control one Beast Spirit at a time. I need to nurture the Displacer Beast Spirit, so I can't perform Nature Spirit Summoning anymore."

"Why is it like this?" Du Ke was frustrated. He had worked hard all day to find a suitable target, only to find out it wouldn't work after bringing it back. He felt dejected but didn't force Xise Xise.

Shawa Shawa suddenly comforted him, "Du Ke, when Xise Xise advances, it might be able to control two Beast Spirits."

Du Ke's hope flickered. "Is that so?"

Xise Xise blinked her eyes. "I don't know."

Du Ke's wolfish grin returned. "Whether it's true or not, please eat more Spore Powder and advance as soon as possible."
