Kevin and Su discovered that Mei had contracted Honkai Sickness and learned that an antibody at Fire Moth might save her. They left Senba Academy with Mei, while Kevin armed himself with a baseball bat.

• A Chariot-type Honkai Beast spotted them and chased them into the alleys, where Kevin told Su to take Mei to Fire Moth while he held it back.
• Kevin drew the beast toward him and used its suction to enter one of its nostrils.
• Kevin endured the powerful currents and concentrated Destruction Energy inside the beast, then smashed through tissue near its brain with his baseball bat.

Kevin killed the Chariot-type Honkai Beast from inside its body, then encountered the Herrscher of Thunder and was rescued by Theresa and Elysia. The apparent battle ended as a staged scene when Rike called cut, and Acheron admitted she had been distracted by Theresa acting cute as a catgirl.

• Kevin smashed through the Chariot-type Honkai Beast's scapula and destroyed its brain before climbing out of its nostril.
• The Herrscher of Thunder attacked Kevin with lightning, but Theresa kicked him clear of the blast and Elysia challenged the Herrscher.
• Theresa warned Kevin to run, and he fled after the Herrscher's weaker lightning attack left his hair standing on end.

Theresa, Elysia, and Acheron staged the Herrscher of Thunder’s defeat, with Acheron handing Theresa a fake Herrscher Core before clocking out. Theresa and Elysia then found an exhausted Kevin and brought him to safety.

With Himiko’s combat squad, she reached the Martial Arts Hall, learned her senior and junior martial siblings had died, and escaped with her injured father toward the outskirts.

• Hua climbed over Canghai City’s quarantine wall and saw the monsters roaming inside.
• Himiko’s combat squad rescued Hua from a monster and agreed to accompany her to the Martial Arts Hall.
• Hua and the squad cleared the zombies attacking the backyard door, and Hua reunited with her father.
• Hua’s father revealed that Hua’s senior and junior martial siblings had not survived, then collapsed from a severe back wound.
• Himiko’s medic treated Hua’s father, and Hua carried him as the squad drove toward the city outskirts.

After her father was hospitalized with Honkai Sickness, Hua learned about Fire Moth and the devastation caused by the Honkai outbreak. She chose to join Fire Moth as a warrior, hoping to help secure her father's care.

• Himiko brought Hua and her unconscious father to Fire Moth, where doctors treated his wounds and diagnosed him with Honkai Sickness.

• Su treated Mei with an anti-Honkai Sickness serum, and his research department later received funding to study the disease.
• Kevin’s team, Theresa, and Elysia defeated the Herrscher of Wind, and Kevin persuaded Cosmo to join the combat team.
• A young man from beyond the heavens, later named Kalpas, escaped the Honkai Cult after its members sacrificed villagers and girls before him.
• Kalpas encountered the Fifth Honkai Eruption and tore apart the Herrscher of Ice, keeping its core as a collectible.

While Qianjie and Aponia cared for children with Honkai Sickness at the sanatorium, its growing Destruction Energy and a hidden Herrscher Core caused the people, animals, and supplies there to mutate. Sakura investigated and fought Qianjie before Theresa took the core; Kevin brought Qianjie and Aponia into Fire Moth as the sanatorium was burned and quarantined.

• Qianjie learned the era's language from Aponia, took over the sanatorium's many chores, and banned her from the kitchen after her nitrite cake poisoned the children.
• Aponia took in more Honkai Sickness patients, increasing the sanatorium's Destruction Energy, while Pardo visited for dinner and fled before discovering and taking military supplies from an unguarded warehouse.
• Sakura traced a dense Destruction Energy reading to Aponia's bedroom and found an ice-blue Herrscher Core in a locked box.
• Sakura killed the Honkai Sickness patients and Honkai Beasts, then fought Qianjie to a draw after confronting him and Aponia about their refusal to report the danger.

Verity returned to Fire Moth and became director of its Engineering Department, while the organization reorganized Poisoned Chrysalis and faced the Sixth Honkai Outbreak. After Kevin lost his team members and killed the Herrscher of Death, he asked Mobius to make him a Fusion Warrior and began transforming with a factor from Pavanthi.

• Verity escaped confinement on a remote island, negotiated with Mobius, and returned to Fire Moth as Engineering Department director.
• Sakura and Kalpas became captains of the reorganized Poisoned Chrysalis, and Kalpas appointed the repeatedly escaping assassin Imol as his adjutant.

• Fire Moth used the Herrscher of Death Core and a fake Quasi-Herrscher Core as bait, while Dr. MEI and Kevin went to The Deepest Place.
• Klein stabbed Mobius, but Mobius’s body consumed Klein during its resurrection, including her Herrscher of Domination Core.

• Mobius and Verity worked together to create the Armed Puppet Klein, and Mobius implanted her memories into it.

Mobius rescued Klein from inside the barrier and reported that Fusion Warriors could resist it, leading Dr. MEI to try feeding it Destruction Energy from Honkai Reactors.

• Elysia reported Theresa’s transformation to Fire Moth, where Dr. MEI identified the spreading blood-red field as the Binding Barrier and ordered an evacuation.
• Klein stayed behind to save Mobius’s research materials, but the barrier swallowed her laboratory and shut her down after she salvaged a USB drive.
• Mobius entered the barrier after learning Klein was trapped, died and revived repeatedly, and finally escaped after throwing Klein beyond its edge.
• Dr. MEI recorded Mobius’s account and concluded the barrier had a limit to how much Destruction Energy it could consume.

As the Binding Barrier expanded toward global catastrophe, Fire Moth committed its Fusion Warriors to a final assault against Theresa, the Herrscher of Binding. The charge proved deadly, and Qianjie fell almost immediately before Mobius discovered he had entered the battle with an ordinary human body.

• The Binding Barrier rapidly expanded after swallowing the Honkai Reactors, forcing Fire Moth to evacuate as it grew to a radius of one hundred kilometers.
• Fire Moth gathered more than ten thousand Fusion Warriors and settled on a final plan: they would fill the barrier's restraint threshold, Hua would attack with Feather of Dust, and Kevin would strike Theresa when the barrier broke.
• Pardo was too ill to fight, while Qianjie obtained a Key of Domination forged from Imol's core and prepared to battle alongside her.
• After half a day for farewells, the Fusion Warriors charged into the Binding Barrier, where even the strongest fell after advancing only a short distance.

• Qianjie charged into the Binding Barrier as platinum-gold Honkai Beasts attacked the Fusion Warriors, who endured the barrier’s suppression while helping him advance.
• Theresa emerged as the Herrscher of Binding and blasted Qianjie, leaving him severely wounded and unconscious as she prepared a colossal beam cannon.
• Su entered Qianjie’s consciousness, broke Aponia’s Commandment, and took control of Qianjie’s body to attack the Herrscher of Binding.
