Only then did Xu Nan suddenly notice that the carriage he was in was actually traveling across a narrow suspension bridge!
There was no snow on the suspension bridge. On either side, it connected to a deep ravine within Lookout Fortress.
At the other end of the bridge stood a raised castle. This ancient structure climbed along the complex mountain terrain, forming a rather magnificent inner castle.
According to the map in Xu Nan's hands, this should have been the inner castle where Evelyn lived.
The coachman seemed to have entered a strange state. He simply kept mechanically urging the carriage onward.
Xu Nan did not see anyone along the way.

Xu Nan sensed something, and his mood eased slightly, though he still watched the shadow in confusion.
In the next instant, the shadow seemed to sense something. It turned back to glance at Xu Nan, flicked
