Background / History
Origins and nature
Lost Paradise is an exclusive plane created jointly by the most powerful Ron Sorcerers. Its name is synonymous with the treasures, inheritances, and Bloodline Fruits left behind by generations of Sorcerers. 7 11
Though commonly called a half-plane, it is far more complex and powerful than an ordinary one. Its core contains the instance area, trading market, council building, and alchemy centers, while its outer regions are more diverse and include residential worlds and floating islands. 393
Lost Paradise is also a divine plane containing both genuine worlds and illusory worlds condensed from magic power. Its exploration zones preserve treasures and gifts from past Ron Sorcerers. 53
The plane has remained deeply concealed from the wider multiverse. Most ordinary people know little of either Lost Paradise or Ron Sorcerers, while even adventurers and gods who attempt to locate it generally fail. 191
Arcane Empire alliance
The Arcane Empire and Lost Paradise once signed an offensive-and-defensive alliance. However, Lost Paradise repeatedly copied Arcane Empire creations and ultimately failed to send support during the Empire's final war, contributing to the Empire's exile by the Gods. 38
This history left the Arcane Empire and its successors deeply distrustful of Lost Paradise. The alliance's restoration later became part of the White Paper negotiations with Stephenson. 140 194
Re-emergence
For many years, Lost Paradise operated as a self-sufficient and closed ecosystem. Its decision to negotiate commercial cooperation with Stephenson marked its first reappearance in the Pro World since the Primordial Era. 191
The resulting White Paper was signed after Lost Paradise's delegation resolved a commercial-espionage crisis in Stephenson. The agreement established formal cooperation despite public hostility toward Lost Paradise's counterfeit industry and past conduct. 201 205
Lost Paradise remains unable to openly deploy its strongest figures in the Prime Material Plane. A public re-emergence—especially by the Three Legends—would draw the attention of its many enemies and risk a multiversal conflict. 445

Exploration System
Layered exploration
Ron Sorcerers access Lost Paradise through the Arcane Art — Lost Paradise. Each layer holds separate environments, opportunities, and inherited rewards. A Sorcerer theoretically receives one exploration opportunity at every level. 11 170
| Layer / Instance | Known setting | Notable conditions |
|---|---|---|
| First Layer | Exxon's Grayfrost Forest | Newcomers receive protection; monsters are limited to Level 2 or below. Exxon's Cabin contains tests and an inheritance for qualified Sorcerers. 11 12 |
| Second Layer | Buried Bone Barren Village | An undead settlement where extraordinary power is restricted for most entrants; its village chief, official, and patrol captain are exceptions. 49 51 |
| Sixth Layer | City of Abundance | A ten-player dungeon intended for Tier 2 Sorcerers and dependent on party cooperation. 169 170 |
| Skull Dungeon | Beauty Python habitat | A famous instance where Sorcerers test their resistance to charm; dungeon explorers do not truly die. 380 |
| Advanced instances | Specialized bloodline-optimization worlds | These can impose dangerous shame-related quests and may cause bloodline mutation if optimization fails. 211 314 |
Inheritances and Bloodline Fruits
The first layer's Grayfrost Forest houses an inheritance left by the Legendary Ron Sorcerer Exxon. His cabin is guarded by the Smith Couple, who have remained there under an old promise. 11 53
Bloodline Fruits are among Lost Paradise's most sought-after rewards. They can rapidly improve a Ron Sorcerer's strength, though excessive gains may cause a lethal bloodline rampage. 11
Newcomer mentoring and bloodline links
The system can issue shared quests involving newly awakened Sorcerers. Completing them increases a mentor's assistance count and Blood Kinship with the newcomer; sufficient Blood Kinship can unlock Bloodline Resonance. 498 559
Lost Paradise can also use Bloodline Links to summon connected familiars into its exploration zones. Xu Nan discovered this when Song Cheng’s curse established an involuntary father-son-style link with him. 50
Administration and security
Daily Council
The Daily Council manages Lost Paradise’s activities, internal compensation, facilities, and long-term projects. Its leadership includes Ophy, who serves as Council President and acts as an intermediary in major external matters. 85 117 390
The Council also supports expansion projects in the Prime Material Plane. Its Special City Building Agreement would make Anonymous City Lost Paradise’s first recognized force in that world. 390
Three Legends
Lost Paradise’s foremost pillars are Luo Mang, the Lion King, and Almuses. Their power is central to the plane's security, though their direct appearances outside Lost Paradise are strategically restricted. 243 415 445
During Xu Nan's bloodline mutation, all three intervened to contain the danger and prevent his death. 314
Defensive capability
Lost Paradise possesses an automatic defense system capable of resisting attacks on a massive scale. When an attacker launched a Destruction Ray described as twenty times a Legendary-level attack, the system activated and placed the plane under Tier 4 alert. 415
Its secrecy is also a strategic defense: even young Gods often cannot learn significant information about Lost Paradise, while Lost Paradise maintains intelligence on them. 191
Economy and technology
Imitation industry
Lost Paradise preserves and reproduces a large portion of the Arcane Empire’s alchemy technology. Its Sorcerers frequently improve copied designs, and some of their resulting products surpass the originals. 415
Internal counterfeit goods bear a hidden emblem resembling an optimistic gnoll, visible only to those with Ron Sorcerer bloodlines. 80
This industry is a major source of tension with Stephenson. Lost Paradise’s products are cheaper than Stephenson’s originals, benefiting consumers while undermining local Alchemists’ incentives to innovate. 201
Information services
The intelligence department operates through paid appointments, deposits, and private consultations. Membership authority scales from Level 0 to Level 10 according to a customer’s Constant Gold Coin expenditure. 85
Lost Paradise’s intelligence is extensive but not omniscient. Its abilities are notably reduced in territories controlled by Ancient Gods, whose authority can obscure local laws and information. 564
Advanced databases
The standard system offers appraisal, geographical knowledge retrieval, quest management, and bloodline guidance. More confidential information is held in an expensive inner-layer database plugin. 179 420
Even the system remains only partially understood: it was designed by Ron, and fewer than one-third of its functions are said to have been effectively developed. 491
Relationships
- Ron Sorcerers — Lost Paradise is their exclusive sanctuary and primary source of bloodline guidance, inherited treasures, instances, and technical support. Sorcerers who are stripped of system access lose this support and face much greater danger in awakening independently. 11 34
- Ron — The system’s secrets are directly connected to Ron, and the founder of Lost Paradise shares an identity with the infamous tomb robber known as the King of Tomb Robbers. 443 535
- Daily Council — Governing organization responsible for Lost Paradise’s administration, strategic planning, and internal compensation. 85 94
- Luo Mang — One of the Three Legends and Xu Nan’s mentor; he entrusts Xu Nan with negotiations and treats him as Lost Paradise’s designated successor on Earth. 191
- Lion King — One of the Three Legends; participates in protecting Lost Paradise and intervened during Xu Nan’s bloodline crisis. 314 347
- Almuses — One of the Three Legends; serves in Lost Paradise’s defensive command and declared Tier 4 alert during the Destruction Ray attack. 415
- Arcane Empire — Ancient ally and victim of Lost Paradise’s betrayal and imitation practices; their historical alliance remains a major source of conflict. 38 140
- Stephenson — Former Arcane Empire successor-state that entered formal cooperation with Lost Paradise through the White Paper. 191 205
Trivia
- The three great mysteries of Lost Paradise are the contents of the first circular island, the location of Ron’s ancestral tomb, and the praiseworthy virtues of Ron Sorcerers. 190
- Ron Sorcerers generally help one another due to their shared bloodline and social isolation, though exceptions exist. 11
- Lost Paradise’s system may offer teleportation insurance, but it accepts no responsibility for accidents during transport. 523
- A Ron Sorcerer’s access to certain advanced functions can depend on payment; even basic system features may be intentionally restricted to pressure Sorcerers into becoming stronger. 420
