Pan-Human is not a single species or state. It is a broader classification whose distinction from Sub-humans is based on more than appearance: shared universal values are also a defining factor, although Pan-Humans generally possess similar outward characteristics. 56

The Pan-Human Thought Tide is the shared racial thought tide connecting Pan-Human civilizations and individuals. It is described as having formed through the accumulated activities of countless civilizations with similar appearances and universal values. 245

• Only native members of a civilization can connect to that civilization’s thought tide; related Pan-Human civilizations and individuals can connect to the Pan-Human Thought Tide. 210
• Talents are believed to arise when a civilization or race’s accumulated consciousness, history, culture, and collective desire condense into a newborn’s life essence. 210
• The Thought Tide’s convergence point has not been located or directly observed. 210

Historical Status

According to Barotstein, the Star River Unification War was fought in part to eliminate civilizations that could potentially unify Pan-Humans. The Star Alliance’s later restrictions on Pan-Human development are presented as a continuation of that concern. 210

The Holy Spirit Human and Yaoyuan Human civilizations were reportedly annihilated by the Star Alliance during the Unification War, with only limited surviving populations retained by the Star Dome Merchant Alliance. 217

The Pan-Human race’s weakness has historically made it a target for discrimination, exclusion, and slaughter by stronger civilizations. Even after the Star Alliance’s establishment, this condition is described as worsening over time. 320

The “Human” Species Project

Jiang Xiao distinguishes his laboratory-created Human species from the broader Pan-Human category. He considers shared values, worldview, and self-identification more important than whether a people emerged naturally or were created in a laboratory. 245

• Jiang Xiao chooses the Universe Originator Human template, identified as the source template of Pan-Humans and capable of selectively fusing advantageous genes. 246
