Difficult Support, Perilous Situations

Hu Shu gazed at the flickering Invincible Domain, knowing the situation was dire. He quickly scanned his surroundings, seeing that some of the Demon Race powerhouses had already crept around to the flanks, while the Heavenly Origin Sect immortals were preparing a stronger attack. Hu Shu took a deep breath, forcefully suppressing the anxiety in his heart, and shouted to the Human Race members, "Don't panic, everyone, follow my orders!" With that, he turned and sprinted towards the flank, ready to face new challenges. However, a more difficult situation awaited him.

Below Shouyang Mountain, the Invincible Domain flickered like a candle flame in a gale, liable to be extinguished at any moment. Outside the domain, the joint attack from the Demon Race and the Heavenly Origin Sect rained down like a torrential storm, the roars shaking the very earth. Beads of sweat the size of beans rolled down Hu Shu's forehead as he formed hand seals, doing his utmost to maintain the domain's operation.

The Human Race members huddled within the domain, anxiously watching the onslaught from outside. Children clung tightly to their parents, their eyes filled with fear; young warriors, though armed, couldn't hide the tension on their faces. An elder of the Human Race leaned on his staff and trembled, "Hu Shu, how much longer can this domain hold?" Hu Shu didn't look back, firmly stating, "Don't worry, as long as I'm here, I won't let anything happen to you all!"

Just then, a clamor arose from the hillside to the side. Hu Shu's gaze swept over, and he saw a group of Demon Race powerhouses bypassing the Invincible Domain and attacking the flank where the Human Race was gathered. Leading them was a massive White Tiger Demon, exuding a chilling demonic aura, its claws gouging deep marks into the ground. Hu Shu inwardly cried out, "This is bad." If these demons were allowed to break through, the Human Race would suffer a devastating blow.

Without time to think, he flickered and dashed towards the flank. "You think you can trample over my Human Race? You're not worthy!" Hu Shu roared, drawing his gleaming sword in an instant. A wave of sword energy slashed towards the White Tiger Demon. The White Tiger Demon let out a roar, its claws swiping, colliding with the sword energy in a deafening crash.

Seeing this, the other Demon Race powerhouses lunged at Hu Shu. Hu Shu moved like lightning, weaving through the demon ranks, his sword a blur, felling demons one after another. However, the sheer number and formidable strength of the demons gradually began to wear him down. His clothes were torn, and several wounds appeared on his body, blood staining his robes.

Meanwhile, below Shouyang Mountain, the Heavenly Origin Sect immortals launched their next round of attacks. Guang Chengzi stood at the forefront, flicking his horsetail whisk. A golden light shot skyward, condensing into a massive Rune. The Rune pulsed with mysterious power, hurtling towards the core of the Invincible Domain. Where it passed, the very space rippled.

The Human Race members within the domain felt this immense power and their expressions changed. "Not good, they're going to break the core of my domain!" Hu Shu was shocked, but he was currently entangled with the demons, unable to extricate himself. He was consumed by anxiety, veins bulging on his forehead.

Under the Rune's assault, the Invincible Domain's light dimmed further, and hairline cracks began to appear at its edges. Hu Shu knew that if the domain's core was broken, the Human Race would lose its protection, and the consequences would be unimaginable. He fought back against the demon attacks while desperately searching for a solution.

Suddenly, Hu Shu's eyes lit up. He noticed a slight lapse in coordination among the attacking demons. Seizing the opportunity, he flickered and appeared beside a Wolf Demon, thrusting his sword forward. The Wolf Demon couldn't dodge in time and was impaled through the chest. Hu Shu used the Wolf Demon's body as a projectile, hurling it towards the other demons, causing their formation to fall into disarray.

Hu Shu seized the moment, using his movement techniques to charge towards the domain's core. However, the White Tiger Demon wouldn't let him go so easily. It roared, transforming into a white streak of light, and pursued Hu Shu. "You won't succeed!" the White Tiger Demon snarled, its maw opening wide as it lunged at Hu Shu.

Sensing the attack from behind, Hu Shu sidestepped, narrowly evading the White Tiger Demon's lunge. But this delay allowed the Rune to get closer to the domain's core. Hu Shu was frantic. He poured all his strength into the Invincible Domain, attempting to resist the Rune's attack.

The Rune collided with the Invincible Domain, unleashing a world-shattering roar. Light flared, engulfing the entire Shouyang Mountain. Hu Shu felt a powerful force surge towards him, and he couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of blood. The Invincible Domain trembled violently, its light almost completely extinguished.

Hu Shu had to deal with the relentless pursuit of the White Tiger Demon and other demons on his flank, while also preventing the Heavenly Origin Sect's Rune from completely shattering the domain's core. The situation grew increasingly perilous. Yet, there was no trace of fear in his eyes; instead, they were filled with determination. He swore inwardly that no matter what, he would protect the Human Race and find a turning point to repel the enemy. At this moment, the battlefield was thick with the smell of gunpowder, shouts and roars intertwining, leaving the Human Race members on the edge of their seats.
