Hao Ren had no idea what had happened in Raven 12345's mansion after he left. Even if he had known, he probably would not have reacted in the slightest. After all, Goddess Sister's crazy style had long since become common knowledge, and not one of the priests under her command would care when or where their goddess had a fit.
After leaving the "divine kingdom" and returning to the South Suburbs, Hao Ren did not go straight home. He had just reached the door and had not even taken out his key when he heard a series of bumps from behind it, along with the crackling sound of bare feet slapping against the floor. The next moment, the door was yanked open, revealing Lily's face, glowing with excitement. "Oh, the Landlord's back! The Landlord's back! Landlord, you even came back with meat?"
Before Hao Ren could react, his hand suddenly felt lighter. Lily then dashed away with the meat like a gust of wind, shouting as she ran, "Bat, bat, the Landlord's back! We can eat now—the Landlord even bought meat! Hurry up and stew it for me... Ah, I know it won't make it in time for this meal. I'll eat it as a snack after dinner, okay?"
Hao Ren entered the house in a daze and saw Izax sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper. The old demon looked up and smiled. "She's been
