La Rian Civilization's core.
The engineering drones had finished scanning this cooled planetary heart from end to end. They had also built countless research facilities and engineering components on its outer shell. The towering structures and connecting pipes set against the Star Core made Hao Ren feel as if he were about to perform surgery.
It was almost like operating on a planetary core...
"Actually, it's not that different from surgery," Nolan said with a laugh after hearing Hao Ren's association. "The Heart of God is located deep within the planet's core, wrapped in normal layers of metal and rock. To extract it, we really do need to operate. Originally, the Heart of God should have been immersed in molten lava, but when this planet was split in two, the core cooled rapidly, and the Heart of God was sealed inside the gradually solidifying magma."
Hao Ren raised an eyebrow. "But its influence over external information doesn't seem to have been affected."
Nolan spread her hands. "Its operating mechanism is built upon the laws of the universe. A little material interference means nothing to it."
As she spoke, she issued orders to the engineering machines, and they began cutting through the layer of rock covering the Star Core. It had already solidified, but was still scorching hot.
Dozens of engineering drones flew above the cutting site. The connecting pipes and support frames below folded up and withdrew in all directions. Moments later, dazzling Cutting Beams burst from the fronts of the drones, carving bright, molten lines across the surface of the planetary core.
The engineering machines following behind immediately moved in. They activated their tractor beams and dragged the stripped-off rock crust and molten material aside.
