Hao Ren took a rough look at the situation in the tunnel. After confirming that there was solid ground below and that it wasn't too deep, he jumped straight down. A few seconds after landing, he let out a thunderous "Holy crap!" that startled Lily and Vivian. Lily leaned over and peered into the pitch-black entrance. "Landlord, Landlord, what happened to you?"

"It's nothing. It's just that this place is... way bigger than I expected!"

Hao Ren stood at the bottom of the tunnel, narrowing his eyes as he observed the surroundings. His voice was filled with undisguised amazement.

Everything below was shrouded in darkness, far more demanding of his night vision than the night outside. Apart from the faint, secondhand moonlight filtering in through the entrance, there wasn't a single source of light in the tunnel. Hao Ren felt that even the night vision he had just obtained was nearing its limits, so he had no choice but to focus all his attention. Only then could he make out the situation below.
