Background / History

Ai Yue arrives in the Pre-Civilization with a System that grants access to a technological research tree and a Construction System. He calls the latter “alchemy” because it can turn gathered materials into finished machinery without external manufacturing equipment. 2

Before becoming a prominent Moth to Fire researcher, he is closely involved with Twilight Street and its nursing home. He replaces the children’s Honkai Energy Absorbers, brings them toys, and regards curing Honkai Sickness as a personal obligation rather than merely a research objective. 2 14

Aponia’s attempts to observe his fate reveal only fragments: Ai Yue’s original fate is shattered, while the System prevents her from reading his present fate. She consequently accepts him as a possible “savior.” 8

Within Moth to Fire, Ai Yue rapidly establishes himself by improving the Honkai Energy Absorber, completing and optimizing the Fusion Warrior Project, and producing a Hypervariable Factor for Garuda that simulations rate at 100% surgical success. 10 11 12

Ai Yue usually presents himself as an ordinary scholar in a white coat.
