Background

Pardofelis grew up fending for herself in Twilight Street. As a child, she learned crude but vital survival techniques by observing a black cat she regarded as her “teacher,” developing the instincts that later made her an exceptional thief and mimic of movement. 109

She initially lived as a free-spirited “righteous thief,” trading rare gems and recovered items to Ai Yue for canned food and his handmade gadgets. Though highly perceptive of other people’s emotions, she often pretended not to notice trouble so she could avoid being drawn into it. 1 3 6

After helping Ai Yue during the conflict over Sakura’s stolen tactical case, Pardofelis followed him to Moth to Fire. She chose to enlist because she had never before felt that others genuinely needed her talents, accepting that doing so meant surrendering part of the leisurely life she valued. 4 7

Following her fusion with Baster, Pardofelis retains a human form but bears obvious feline traits. Her combat armor is designed around her role as a stealth specialist rather than a front-line fighter. 54 96 97

Beneath that carefree exterior, she is observant and emotionally sensitive. Her childhood taught her to read changes in people’s moods, and she quickly notices Ai Yue’s tendency to become detached when left alone. She deliberately stays near him because her presence helps ground him. 6 101
