Branch hierarchy

Spirit Hall's branches span the Douluo Continent and are divided into six levels. The fourth-level Spirit Hall exists only in the capitals of the Heaven Dou and Star Luo Empires. Above it are the Pope's Palace and the Douluo Hall of Worship. 43

Major divisions

Before becoming an empire, Spirit Hall was chiefly composed of the Pope's Palace, Elder Hall, and Douluo Hall, supported by branches across the continent. After the rise of Evil God Cultists, it established Judgement Hall as a fourth major division. 324

Spirit City

Spirit City stands on the border between the two great empires and is not under either empire's sovereignty. It houses Pope's Palace and functions as Spirit Hall's central stronghold. 220

Story Role

Advanced Spirit Master Tournament

Spirit Hall hosts the finals in Spirit City and fields the Spirit Hall Representative Team, whose core is the Golden Generation: Xie Yue, Hu Liena, and Yan. The team possesses optimal Soul Ring configurations and employs the martial soul fusion skill Demon Charm. 225 230 231

Demon Charm reduces opponents' physical senses, Soul Power, and movement speed by fifty percent within its range. 231 The representative team reaches the final six but is defeated by Li Yuan's Dawn Team. 229 230 232

Conflict with Li Yuan

Li Yuan initially conceals his abnormal Soul Ring configuration during a qualification assessment at the Heaven Dou City Spirit Hall, fearing that Spirit Hall would either force his recruitment or eliminate him if it learned his secrets. 43 44 He declines an invitation to join Spirit Hall for the same reason. 47

His relationship with the organization later becomes divided: Bibi Dong seeks to kill him, while Li Yuan remains willing to cooperate with other Spirit Hall members and factions. 236 248 Even after his identity as the GM Army's leader is revealed, Spirit Hall ultimately avoids breaking its alliance with him. 309

Establishment of the Spirit Hall Empire

After Heaven Dou City falls to the GM Army, Spirit Hall formally announces the establishment of the Spirit Hall Empire. On the same day, five former Heaven Dou provinces and six former Star Luo provinces declare their accession. 309

The resulting empire is nearly as large as the combined territories of the former Heaven Dou and Star Luo Empires. 309 Its military remains centered on Soul Masters, unlike the GM Army's mixed force of Soul Masters, ordinary soldiers, and advanced Soul Tool users. 332
