Background / History

Professor Bai initially theorized that Mom, Father, and Sister were roles reconstructed by Lu Xin's own mental power from people he had encountered during the experiments. Mom was later revealed to be an Ultimate: the Fate Seer, possessing the strongest insight power among the Ultimates 206 787 843.

According to the Black Queen, Mom was captured and exploited shortly after the Ultimates descended into reality. The first-generation researchers controlled her and used her to monitor other factions; she also helped maintain Lu Xin's manufactured “family” as part of his containment 835 842 906.

While acting as Lu Xin's mother, Mom secretly arranged contingencies against the researchers. She cooperated with the Eclipse Research Institute, supported plans to recover Father's authority, and worked to help Lu Xin gain the means to resist the cycle governing the Ultimates 790 842 845.

Her role as Lu Xin's mother was exposed when she severed his connection to Sister and admitted that the family had been created to contain his dangerous power. Despite this betrayal, she ultimately defied the Ultimates and researchers, choosing Lu Xin's future over their control 834 835 840.

Happy Town and Qinggang Incidents

In Happy Town, Mom peacefully addresses the Queen and defuses a confrontation that leaves Qin Ran terrified. She later asks Lu Xin not to investigate Qin Ran's past until he reaches the second stage, fearing the truth would overwhelm him 164 165.

During the conflict at the original Research Institute, Mom reveals the containment family's true purpose by removing Sister and sealing Lu Xin. She later abandons the Spirit Hall and the first-generation researchers' control, releasing her eyes throughout the Abyss to expose its secrets 834 835 840 841.

Mom protects Lu Xin while forcing his understanding of the Sole Consciousness forward, explaining that his destiny has become her own. The Black Bishop subsequently destroys the seal on her Mental Palace, causing her consciousness to fade and leaving Lu Xin devastated 843 845.
