Background / History

Chen Jing personally assessed Lu Xin after he handled the café incident. Although his insistence that his invisible “family” existed made her fear he might be close to losing control, she recognized both his unusual potential and his willingness to confront mental pollution. She recruited him as an external member of Qinggang’s Special Action Team, while maintaining safeguards against the danger he might pose. 8 10

She defended the policy of recruiting and guiding anomalous individuals despite their risks. Her position was pragmatic: Qinggang could not rely on conventional forces alone against mental monsters and hostile ability users. 10 33 44
