Background / History

Kid arrived in Qinggang at roughly six years old, terrified and covered in blood. Her appearance nearly threw the city into chaos: one half of Qinggang wanted to harm her, while the other half wanted to protect her. Professor Bai secured her using special parasitic items, after which she became Qinggang's closely guarded special ability user. 232 776

For twelve years, Qinggang isolated her because her growing ability and its negative effects were increasingly difficult to control. Ordinary people could make simple requests of her, and she reliably completed rescue and pollution-cleanup work, but they could not hold deep conversations with her. 232 233

Lu Xin became the first observed person able to communicate with Kid directly and resist her negative influence. Under his guidance, she began expressing preferences—including her wish to play with Lego blocks—and developed better control over her power and a greater desire to interact with the outside world. 233 234 503

During the Happy Town incident, Kid fought alongside Lu Xin against the Technological Church. She suppressed mutants, dispelled mental monsters, and later lost control under overwhelming mental-power backlash; Lu Xin shielded her while Qinggang contained the resulting turbulence. 252 253 463 466

Kid agreed to join the Heavenly Kingdom Plan after Lu Xin helped her understand Qinggang and choose whether she wished to protect it.
