Neither of the two pursuing vehicles that had taken off landed safely. They tumbled across the Africa savanna in spectacular fashions rarely seen even in movies, making terrifyingly loud noises.

Especially the pursuing vehicles behind them, in order to avoid being affected, scattered like a shower of flowers, dodging the two out-of-control, overturned cars.

It's fair to say that these Old Black drivers are far more skilled than the police in the movies. In the films, if one police car in a chase flips over, it's followed by a series of crashes, creating a chain-reaction accident.

In reality, these experienced Old Black, who routinely drive on the grasslands, skillfully dodge rolling vehicles. Even sacrificing a little speed is better than a crash or rollover.

This unexpected incident caused the pursuing vehicles to fall even further behind. The rear vehicle, which had served as a shield, immediately Mark III at a much easier time.

Their vehicle had been partially surrounded, with bullets coming from all directions, causing them great suffering.

The pursuers were now far behind, and the distance was widening. Bullets were only sparse and posed little threat. Taking a short breather, Sam and Old Bernie emptied a magazine and retreated into the vehicle to reload. Sam said, "It looks like they can't catch up now. I wonder if they'll take a shortcut and block our way again."

Mark I too busy to speak, but Old Bernie chimed in, "The premise for them to overtake us is that we have a shortcut to the airport. As long as the lead car doesn't take the wrong route and heads straight for the airport, they won't have another chance to intercept us."

"So, all we can do is hope that Henry doesn't lead us astray?" Sam asked worriedly.

"Yes, we can only count on him." Old Bernie said, taking a few hidden grenades from the bottom of the ammunition box.

Upon seeing the grenades, Sam's eyes lit up. Without even discussing what to do, the two each took a few.

He pulled the latch, popped open the bumper, and silently counted a few times before lowering the grenade out the car window.

There was no need to throw them; the grenades exploded perfectly in the middle of the pursuers' vehicle formation, causing chaos among them and giving the two men who had been suppressed earlier a chance to vent their anger.

Since the pursuers dared not follow directly behind, they threw grenades further away. They were sure the grenades would explode where they were supposed to, slowing down the pursuers' pace.

From this perspective, we can see how thorough their military training was. At least in terms of handling hand grenades, they were quite adept.

Using fragmentation grenades to deal with vehicles doesn't work like in the movies, where one grenade can destroy one vehicle at a time.

Just then, some unlucky guy drove his car right onto a fragmentation grenade that exploded, and the car only bounced a little.

Under normal circumstances, this kind of damage would be insignificant to a car, unless the shrapnel damaged any critical components.

That's what could cause vehicle malfunction.

But they were traveling at high speed, and this bump caused the vehicle to lose control.

The skidding truck swerved left and right, throwing several black men crouching in the back of the truck before finally stabilizing. However, they were now far behind the convoy again.

Sam, caught up in the excitement, waved his hand again and said to Old Bernie, "Again. I'll blast these sour radishes to death so they can't eat them."

"That's all. That was the last of our stock."

"Fuck, you're carrying grenades everywhere you go? Is this all you've got?"

Old Bernie shrugged and said helplessly, "Ladies aren't allowed to bring them. Otherwise, we'd be calling roll with RPGs right now. We did manage to smuggle some high-end goods before, but those were for another mission to support certain local forces, so they were all given away long ago."

"Fuck!" Sam, whose cursing was utterly uninspired, grabbed his rifle, leaned halfway out of the car window, wrapped one leg around the seatbelt, and began firing backwards.

Old Bernie didn't dare to be as bold as the other side; he simply stretched out his rifle and fired short bursts at the pursuing vehicles he could reach, especially those that were in the lead.

Neither of the two shooters expected to wipe out the entire group of black-clad pursuers single-handedly. Considering the average of 70,000 bullets needed to kill one enemy soldier during the Vietnam War, the amount of ammunition they carried was far from sufficient.

The U.S. military's tactics have always relied on unleashing bullets to achieve its tactical objectives; killing people is not a top priority among its mission objectives.

The two Land Rover ' current objective is to escape to the airport, board a plane, and flee. The score with these black guys can wait until another day!

With Henry leading the way recklessly, Mark chased after the car with all his might, and with the help of Sam and Old Bernie's harassment, the two Land Rover gradually left the pursuers far behind.

However, the jeep driven by the guide was still there, which meant that the guide knew their destination. So even if they couldn't see anyone, they couldn't let their guard down.

Sam and Old Bernie, back in the car, took a moment to check on everyone's condition and load the empty magazines.

If the two sides continue to exchange fire, even if they still have ammunition, the magazines they prepared in advance will be almost used up.

Even if one person fires the gun and the other loads the magazine, with one less gun's firepower, they will eventually be suppressed.

It was only then that they noticed the car's unusual speed and how Mark, whose nerves were practically about to snap, was concentrating so intently on driving.

"Watch out!" Mark shouted. Old Bernie and Sam immediately dropped everything they were carrying, grabbed the car door and the handrail, and steadied themselves.

Sure enough, the vehicle lurched heavily, even taking a small leap, before landing smoothly. They had driven back onto the highway.

Although the roads in Somalia are in a state of disrepair, they are still a better driving experience than driving on the grasslands.

This represents two things, one good and one bad.

The good thing is that they're closer to the airport now, as long as they don't take the wrong road.

The bad thing is that once the pursuers also get onto the highway, their advantage in choosing a route disappears. What remains is a contest of vehicle performance.

Mark saw the back door of the car in front open, and Brian gestured for Mark not to follow directly behind. He then pushed the extra supply crates out of the car.

He then shouted to the two people in the car, "Lighten the load! We can't take anything with us anyway, there's no need to leave it in the car."

The two understood immediately and took action. Sam climbed to the back of the truck, opened the back door, and was about to push the things out when Old Bernie stopped him.

Old Bernie took a spare fuel can, poured some gasoline into the wooden crate he intended to discard, and then threw the entire can in.

Upon seeing this, Sam immediately realized Old Bernie's intention. He quickly made a simple ignition device before pushing the half-empty ammunition box out.

The wooden crate that landed immediately shattered into pieces, but the ignition device successfully ignited the remaining flammable parts. Even the ammunition caught fire like firecrackers before exploding.

Although the pursuers haven't caught up yet, making it impossible to create booby traps to harm them, disrupting the road and slowing their advance is still a great thing.

They pushed several half-empty ammunition boxes, creating several obstacles on the road; some caught fire, while others didn't.

The two Land Rover then drove off.
