A miraculous landing

Audrey Hepburn's ordeal has undoubtedly become a hot news topic recently. However, unlike Hollywood stars who usually make it to the entertainment section, this time it's in the politics and society section.

It made the political headlines because it involved the coup and division in Somalia. Audrey Hepburn's children's visit was like the end credits of a play, extinguishing the democratic republic of Somalia established in 1969.

The news made headlines, of course, for the Italian captain's miraculous nighttime emergency landing, which saved all eight people on board, leaving none of them unharmed.

All professionals in the same field agree that, apart from Captain Luca's flawless maneuvering during the gliding phase, the success was ultimately due to sheer luck!

Otherwise, even if the emergency landing site were soft sand, and there were no lights, if the aircraft's landing posture were slightly incorrect and caused a roll, the outcome would not be what it is today.

At that time, people will not be praising a hero, but mourning a big star who sacrificed his life while dedicating himself to public welfare.

All the news media focused on only two people: one was, of course, the superstar Audrey Hepburn, and the other was the legendary Italian pilot, Luca Rizzo.

Henry Brown, on the other hand, was jokingly referred to as the lucky little assistant. A Hollywood- trained actor, this was his first time working as an assistant, and he encountered such a situation. Although he ultimately survived, whether this was considered lucky or unlucky is a matter of debate.

However, just as Henry had hoped, there was very little written about him, not even a single word. He successfully hid himself from the public eye.

But every step leaves a trace. While Henry can hide himself from the public, he has no confidence in hiding himself from certain organizations or individuals.

This isn't to doubt that Brian and his group of CIA agents leaked information, but rather because this world has too many strange and unusual abilities. Once you do something, you're inevitably exposed to these people.

The difference lies in how these people will use such intelligence. Will they ignore it, publicize it, or seek ways to benefit themselves?

Since Henry guessed this, and still asked Brian and the others to keep it a secret, it was really just a token of his concern—to prevent his secret from being known by too many people.

If someone actually helps me promote my work, then I'll accept it. What else can I do? Kill them to cover it up?

Unless you live deep in the mountains, isolated from the world, your abilities will inevitably be exposed sooner or later. The key is subsequent development, which means you can only adapt to changing circumstances.

Walking the streets of New York in the 1990s, the atmosphere here proves that it was the undisputed world financial center. Even twenty or thirty years later, its prosperity is something that many cities cannot match.

Looking up at the towering skyscrapers that seem to have no top, the colorful neon signs, the bustling traffic, the prettiest girls, the most handsome men, fashionable and not-so-fashionable, fill every corner.

Even the air that fills your nostrils smells of money, a scent unlike any other, making this city so unique.

The Empire State Building, in particular, which features a giant King Kong that climbed up to the rooftop to masturbate for the woman it loved, was a major highlight for Henry's sightseeing.

But this is also the center of the Marvel Universe's disaster that Henry wanted to get away from. Unfortunately, Ms. Hepburn is waiting to go to the United Nations to give a report to UNICEF and cannot leave for the time being.

The United Nations did not actually require personnel to stay in New York; they only needed to show up at the agreed time. However, considering Ms. Hepburn's advanced age of sixty and the fatigue of the journey, she decided to stay and participate in some charity fundraising activities.

The main reason was that Robert Wolders, the rumored soulmate, also flew to New York to meet the lady.

The woman's two sons, Sean Farrell and Luca Dottie, also took time out of their busy schedules to come to New York to see their mother.

Today is a rare day off. The lady's agent didn't schedule her day as full as she used to, always making time for her to relax.

Moreover, Ms. Hepburn valued family very much, and no one could pull her away from spending time with her family.

So Henry would take advantage of the days when the lady and her family were resting in the restaurant to stroll around the streets, mainly looking for food.

During these days, all food, drink, and lodging were paid for by public funds. Even though I couldn't sit at the same table with the lady's family, the meals I ate were all high-end Western food of the same standard.

One major drawback of serving individual portions is that the portions are fixed. In some upscale restaurants, if you try to order extra food on the spot, the chef might even give you a dirty look!

So Henry has been in a state of half-fullness for a while now, and he's embarrassed to give him extra portions. This is quite disadvantageous for a Kryptonian who is still developing (!?), not to mention Henry who is terrified of hunger.

So whenever he had the chance, Henry would run out to find food. After all, he was spending his own money and could eat however he wanted; nobody could tell him what to do. After eating, he would go for a walk.

The United Nations Headquarters is located in New York, the most bustling Manhattan City, near the famous Central Park. Ms. Hepburn stayed at a nearby hotel, and Henry, her assistant, also benefited, living the life of New York's upper class.

What makes New York's Central Park famous is not its pleasant scenery, nor any special protected landscapes or historical sites.

Simply because in Manhattan, where land is incredibly valuable, there is a park of such a large size that it could be described as paved with gold bricks.

So when Henry strolled in the park, he enjoyed the precious treatment of taking one step at a time, even if his shoes got a little dirty, it might cost him a few cents. It made one unconsciously want to take two steps back for every one step taken, as a way of showing respect for this expensive piece of land.

I wonder if you could just take a bucket and a small shovel, scoop some soil from the park, and deposit it directly into a bank account? Maybe if you told those snobbish bank tellers that this soil is from Central Park in New York, they would be so excited that they would kneel down and worship you.

Just as the Kryptonian was lost in thought, a familiar voice called him to a halt. "Henry, over here."

Turning around, sure enough, Audrey Hepburn was standing by the artificial lake, waving to Henry.

She wore an ivory-yellow wide-brimmed gauze sun hat, a sleeveless pale yellow top with a large bow on her right shoulder, paired with a beige-based black and yellow plaid skirt and a white belt, giving her an overall girlish style.

But on this lady, it looked dazzling and perfectly suited her. Especially when it reflected the sunlight shimmering on the lake, she seemed to be glowing.

Henry didn't think much of it and jogged over. "Boss, why did you come out alone? Didn't you say you were going to rest at the hotel and spend time with your family?"

"I suddenly remembered I need to visit an old friend. But the kids are too old to come with me. Even Robert has his own things to do. So, will you come with me, Henry?"

"Of course, boss." Henry didn't object.
