On the twelfth floor of the Tribeca District, although Lorna and Quicksilver lived here, the common areas were much plainer, with little unnecessary furniture. Quicksilver often holed up in the secret base on the eleventh floor to play video games, while Lorna generally stayed in her own room.
Today, however, there was an extra glass pod in the living room, and no one knew what it was for.
Skye was cradled in Henry's arms as Catherine Hepburn, supported by Lorna, came before the unfamiliar contraption.
"Henry, is this the thing you said could help Skye? Why does it just look like a glass coffin? If you told me it was meant for me, I might actually believe it."

But he still had to answer the old lady's question. Henry said, "This is a sealed chamber. The important part is the Obelisk metal in the auxiliary chamber beside it. It contains a substance called a Terrigen Crystal. That is what can help Skye."
As Henry explained, everyone looked toward the small sealed platform beside the glass pod, covered by another glass casing. Inside was a cylindrical piece of metal roughly the size of an adult's forearm, with a very distinctive shape.
